Ok, totally not fair for Sage. She protected Eggman against giant spikes being shot towards him with a giant shield, did attack with a plethora of badnicks that would’ve hit had it not been for the warp pips (not regular pips, these are pips meant for traveling throughout and to other worlds), made sure the Chaos Emeralds didn’t get into enemy hands, then fired the Death Egg, which absolutely would’ve finished the fight had Bowser not had the ability to persist after death. It’s on Eggman for not making sure his text could counter magic. And even if she could make the Death Egg move fast enough to dodge the blast, Jr. could’ve just rapid fired given how easy and fast he did the first blast.

It took a second or two for Eggman’s to turn towards the Death Egg right after the shot flew past him (also his dodging speed shouldn’t be factored in, because Jr. wasn’t aiming at him). And when he did, the Death Egg was already in the process of becoming a ? block. Meaning it took a fraction of a second for it to go from near the ground (keep in mind Jr. is short, and was standing in a deep crater) all the way to the Death Egg. Honestly imo it’s debatable if even Metal could’ve reacted fast enough to do anything.
@@montelt7103 Thats how eggman reacts, but sage is an AI computer which can process information more faster, even tho eggman has 300 IQ its still not surpassing human factor.

It doesn’t matter if she can process faster than a human. It was nigh instantaneous with no buildup of power. In that amount of time, she would need to calculate where it was gonna hit (because if she didn’t, she’d need to spend too long just covering a wide surface where it’ll generally hit, and might not even cover the right spot in time), calculate how strong the shield would need to be (because if it’s not strong enough, the shield won’t do anything) and just hope the shield actually counters magic (which clearly the technology wasn’t made in mind with). And all that in a fraction of a second with no hint of what the blast would actually do. At most all she could do was escape before she went with the ship once she learned what the blast does.
Infinite glazers will tell you that it's bullshit but considering Sonic got caught lacking by Mephiles in 06 and Eggman in Unleashed (In his super form, mind you), it's not as far fetched as they think 😬😬

He literally escaped the most important battle which would prove what "he is strong" as he wanted to be, to get finished as a fraud, who escaped from battle IN BEGINNING OF THE BATTLE, also scamming his own TEAMMATES.
