welcome to Industrialized, individualistic countries. For someone who has experienced first hand the new order, you will find it interesting, I called it (the honeymoon stage). As a Salvadorenan myself, the goal for me is now, to return to my roots, to my chaotic country, but all MINE! where I was born and my ONLY HOMELAND. As someone who has spend "years" living abroad, it will take you to realize what I am talking about at least 15-20 years. For some, there is not option to go back due to family responsibilities, financial constraints, or other. For others, the main goal is to return as soon as possible, (at least in the retirement years). There is not better place than being with your relatives (mom, dad, siblings, etc) culture, language.
You forgot to mention the weather is much better down here. It does not go to extremes either to cold or too hot. The tropical is a weather is a blessing here in El Salvador or central america.

What a great video! I love the little vignettes of the life in Sivar, the reunion, and the reunion with Floyd. Wishing you guys the best in this new chapter in your lives. The move for your hubby is a huge one. Everyone processes it differently. After the honeymoon period and the reality sets it; he is gonna need some time to adjust. Just be patient with him on it. Hopefully he wont feel it too much. Its better now with the advent of TH-cam as Sivar is more readily accessible. Doing this kind of move without the internet makes things a lot tougher. Best wishes to you both.

Juan is going to love the US. It's such a great nation. Just be patient with him. He's going to get a little homesick at firt but he'll be alright. It happens to all of us. It's just part of the adaptation process. We all love happy ending stories.

Wow!!!! I was born in El Salvador, Sonsonate. I came to USA at age of 16. We were suffering the Civil War back in the early 80s, It was horrible, so my Mother decided for us to leave the country, which now it's my country. God has blessed me here. Watching this story makes me cry, because I LOVE to see people like you, and your family giving love to a Latino man, when I know we Latinos are discriminated, because of our color. My beautiful daughter has suffering the racism in her job as a waitress. And it brakes my heart how people can hate someone just because they think they are better. May God bless your marriage, and all your family. Danielle you are so sweet, I pray that both of you love each other, and seek God, to have God's wisdom, and love to forgive, to persevere in your marriage that the Lord has blessed. @@giomars6682 I don't think we run away from the country. At that time it was the best decision my Mother made to protect us. Few cousins and uncles got kill, they were innocent. I'm so glad that now El Salvador has a good president, allowed by God.

Oh my goodness so excited for yall! I tell my husband the Lord brought him all the way from Salvador 🇸🇻 just for me! We meet a year after he arrived in the US 🇺🇸 We did go to see his mom nearly 3 years ago. It's was my husband first time back in 19 years. Soon we will have mama ❤ here too. In Jesus name! We can't wait! I'm so excited for yalls new journey.
