5 years later and still best box tutorial
Ok Sam, we all know the box us stunning but let's talk about the bow on the package....WOW!!!! That is totally amazing in itself!! We don't even gave to use the box, your bows are getting so amazing these days that they should win an amazing prize. I love your tutorials. Thank you for sharing the information about using a light touch with the fast fuse. I wasted a whole roll because I was using it wrong and it got so wrapped and tangled within its self that I had to throw it away. I had bought a refill when I purchased it and haven't tried it again for fear of the same thing happening again. But thanks to you I think I will give it another go. Thank you so much!

My puppies try to get into my craft room whenever I'm in there. Unfortunately, I have to put up a barrier to keep them out, because if I don't, they'll get into everything and I'll see my stuff everywhere throughout the house! Anyway, this is a great and easy box project. TFS!

I figured it out for the lid. In order to fit, the lid should be court at 6 1/2” X 9 then score at 1”, no shim needed. This worked out perfectly for me.

Hello, I've been watching video after video after video. Crazy obsessed with all your work! I have sooo mammy I now am doing to make for other things. However I was praying you might have one for crocheted items. I need one for a pair of newborn baby booties. This size is perfect if not more. Please forgive for wanting more. Do you have a video worth a box around this size but that's like you're other gift boxes/hinged boxes/closed with that front flap? I desperately need to make boxes like that for my shop. I love having that top flap that folds in the box. I know how to get a top and bottom, was, again desperate for one this size or around this with that front top flap tucked in. My kitty is an outdoors cat, but he sometimes sits on the windowsill of my craft room and has a chat with me while I'm crafting.
Perhaps Fennel is trying to tell you it's time to do a project to hold cat treats! A perfect little gift for the pet owner and his animal companion in your life.
Love this big box. The lid for the large box is not big enough. You gave out 8" by 11" for base then 6"by 9" for lid. What should the correct measurement be? Thanks in advance!
Hi I love the box but my lid isn't coming out I cut my paper at the required 6x9 scored at 1" but it doesn't fit I have watched as close as I can why the need for the shim?are you putting the shim in the first ridge or all the way to the edge.the bottom came out beautifully.

Yes, I have an amazing ShizTzu that's name is Sadie Belle that helps me craft and wrap presents and anything else I do in my crap room! She sits in her red round bed & hangs out on the crafting table and naps while I do whatever I need to do in my room. She will not move or touch anything, until it is time to leave. If she needs to get down, she will walk to the edge of the table & I sit her down. She is my special gift from God. She is 2 years old & weighs 8 lbs. I would attach a pic but it will not let me. Buffy
I agree. I made the box using your measurements but the lid does not fit. I tried several times even using the shim and it still does not fit. Can you correct?

Hola me gusta mucho la caja extra large lidded box, no hablo ingles y no se las medidas, tampoco se aprecian en la tabla dobladora, podrias por favor poner las medidas en la pantalla para las que hablamos español, por tu atencion muchas gracias.
