I would have put an eyelet into the hole to help make the box more reusable. It is a darling gift box anyway. I don't know anyone that would not be pleased to get a gift in a box like that one. Great job !

These are lovely boxes. I do really like the look of them. I have seen them before where they have a magnetic closure, instead of just the ribbon. do you know how I would do the magnetic closure?

Wrap Card Stock 11 3/4 inch by 6 3/4 inch

Hi Crafty Caroline, l followed your measurement instructions and the end results made the box uneven. I believe that the measurements to the right were larger than the measurements to the left. I would lie to make another one with your instructions please. Apart from that l love your box.

Muy bonito todas las manialidades que hacen lo malo que hay que hablan otro idioma y uno no se entera que como debe comenzar hacer el proyecto seria bueno que lo traduscan al español es un idioma universal que todo mundo lo habla y si exponen estas manualidades que son muy novedosas pero que pena que no las puedo realizar una sugerencia deberian traduscir al l español los videos que suben a yutube espero lo tomen en cuenta mi sugerencia gracias

Love the box! quick tip for ya, when using the fast fuse try "checking" to the left and right instead of forward ;-)

Hi, just trying to make this and cut the card but my wrap over piece does not look as long as yours yet you said both pieces of card to be the same measurements? I am stuck now 😩😉

Your measurements were wrong and I have just wasted more card stock. I thought it sounded a bit off.

I've wasted so much card stock using the measurements you've provided. The wrap is always too small. Do you think your measurements for the papers - 6 3/4in x 9 1/2in (inner box and 6 3/4 x 9 3/4 (for the wrap) are perhaps incorrect? It is way too small and your piece of paper looks so much larger. If so, perhaps you could add a warning notice in the description section to save frustration for others.
Hi Annie J what score board did you use because I used the crafters companion score board and wasted soooooo much good quality paper. Fast forward 1 year, I finally made the box. I have ordered a stamping up score board.

Oh please, please if anyone reads this... could you give me the correct measurements. I am not knocking this project but the first one I attempted to make failed. I need it in inches. Sorry Caroline, I’m not sure if it’s something I’m doing wrong, but your sleeve does look longer then the measurements given. I simply love the idea though and the easiness of the purse/bag 👛 in the making. Warm regards

why do you talk in inches ? in Britain we do centimeters
Do you know, I never used inches at all until I got my score board and the inches one was so much easier to use than the metric one. I converted completely although I still use cm for everything else including card making!
