And what makes the difference between Tropen and Defence 1? Tropen being more breathable in hot summers (?) and having an insect mesh But has a left sided zipper Defence 1 does not have insect mesh Zipper is in the middle so it doesn't really matter on what side you lay your sleeping bag down
You have probably already bought a bag by now. But Spain is a big country with a very climate throughout the different regions. But assuming that you stayed in the south of Spain then the Tropen with its integrated mosquito net would probably be the best choice, although in the winter it can still get pretty cold so you would be best off combining it with a thermal liner and possibly depending on how hot or cold, you sleep insulated base layers.

You are correct my friend! So Tropen has the mosquito net. Also Tropen has no insulated zipper flap. And the Defence 1 Top has central zipper :)
@@TacNGear can you combine the defence 1 with the defence 4, like you can with the tropen?
@@darkdante2k4 as long as you match your sizing , yes. Putting a long bag inside long bag, yes. Long bag inside short bag, no. 🤷♂️
@russhay422 what way round do you layer them? D1 on the inner or outer?
@@thewoodlandschoolltd3999Summer bag as the inner layer. Defence 4 works as the outer layer.
I am 6 feet tall weigh 170 so on thin side....would the medium work?
This bag combined with the fleece liner how low of temperature?
Its uncomfortably hot at 16 degrees C without clothes so i guess you can go alot lower. 10 should be doable, but im a cold sleeper.
I need help, if you were in Spain all the year, and you could have only one, what should I Choose, Defence 1 or tropen?
