All the interior “differences” are completely dependent upon the spec of the vehicle. It has nothing to do with facelift or pre-facelift models.

Most of the differences you pointed out on the interior are actually related to those two cars being equipped to different levels, rather than facelift changes. Also, I must disagree about the lights. The new LED lights, in my opinion, are inferior to the classic bixenons. The light quality used to be much better at night from the xenon, while staying consistent to the timeless BMW circular ring style. That also has been lost with the new lights design, which will go old fashioned quite quickly. Also, the auto gearbox on the pre-facelift was 8-speed too, that didn't change. The efficient dynamics display was also exactly the same if the car was equipped with the enhanced instrument panel. Nice effort, but your video is quite misleading to potential buyers that could be searching for information.

As it was pointed out, the screen size depends on wether the car has the navigation package or not. And as for the dashboard, that depends on if your car has the technology oackage or not. The technology package also includes the heads up display
Not entirely accurate... The size of the screen varies dependent on if it is Pro-Nav (wide screen), business nav (small screen), no nav (small screen)
Got to agree with most of the comments below, my pre facelift model has many of the features listed in vid on updated version, believe most of the changes were styling related. Does really depend on which version you buy & options fitted.
Man says the only difference in the engine bay is that the cover on the LCI is smaller.... missing the fact its a completely different engine! Search N47 vs B47......
The pre facelift auto also has 8 speed gearbox, sat nav depends on spec

Misleading video for people who are looking for one of these to buy, but if you are go for the LCI because usually all the faults are taken out on LCI models
untrue... Fault correction is not dictated by LCI facelift, simply addressed throughout year on year production review... e.g. a 2014 car will have had some issues ironed out from launch setup but no facelift... Best advice is do your homework and buy what is right for you... Usually best to avoid first year or two of a model but some will prefer pre LCI / some new and same for affordability factor...
Nice video few things missed like the idrive system now updated to idrive 6 with apple car play, Climate control is now a white display, the idrive sat nav controller now has more slick buttons and between chrome them, the instrument cluster now come with a full digital display called 6WB as a option and like you said the exhaust now come as double on all 2 litre and up models.
The iDrive 6 with carplay is only for 2017 models and up while the 6WB only applies for the 2018 models. the LCI models from MY2015 onwards dont get those. But yes, you correct about the twin exhausts for 4 cylinder models and white display for the climate.
Along with - Different base cars, different specs, different models, different perspectives, lack of knowledge of either cars. Inability to have any relevant discussion re the tech, mechanics or benefits of either vehicle.This review is as relevant as an elf finding a bird and a stick and comparing their similarities.

Would it be better to compare like for like? Same model, same trim and with more knowledge relevant to the car, it’s almost as though you have never seen either car before and have just happened upon them in the woods. What’s the point?

This has to be the most subtle facelift ever carried out by a carmaker
The automatic wipers are activated differently. In the LCI you just move the lever to a certain position, while in the non LCI you have to press a button on the right to activate it.
The iDrive is different because one has a navi professional, while your wagon only has the basic radio. In the LCI II the the pro navi supports touch as the iDrive controller does. The software changed twice in the F30. The version in the LCI is the non touch NBT version 6.
Ehm doesnt de 2016"lci" have a different motor too? And comes with 190hp instead of 184? And the differens in styling is that it now comes as standard instead of being trimlevel options?
On the interior of the facelift mode, the blue line/colour accent continues onto the doorcards. The prefacelift is left black and doesnt continue.
Who else hates that on the pre-facelift to reach the cup holders you have to take the whole thing out(I don't know how it is called), like where should I put it when I take it out while on the facelift is so much more comfy just slide it.
facelift or not it has a beautyfull interior which some other brands do copy it (cupholders copied by audi, alfa romeo). Im considering buying a 316da touring from 2014, tomorrow im going to testdrive it and negotiate a bit the price. Wish me luck guys!!!
Kaan Erdem please get a bigger engine, I just bought a 330d xdrive about a month ago and it’s fucking ridiculous, it feels like it’s trying to go up on the back wheels when you put your foot down. Insane
I love the new headlights and taillights, if i ever get an F30 im for sure retrofitting them. But u really dont know what u r talking about lol, interior and exterior all depends on options... Most of these is just diffeerent options people wanted on different cars..

Pre-facelift model you shown has a facelift steering wheel fitted on.
No they also came with that steering wheel, just depends what options came with the car

The battery charges all the time the alternator is running, otherwise it would go flat and let you down if you were kicking it all the time!
You are also comparing a business nav vs professional nav, thats not a facelift change
Correct. My 67 reg F30 335D X drive Auto came with the smaller business nav screen, and the small round iDrive button controller. I upgraded the screen myself to the 8.8 inch OEM with touch functionality and coded it in myself using BimmerCode and an OBDLink MX+ tool.

This video is completely wrong and misleading, half of the differences on these two cars are options not difference between the facelift and non facelift
"Correction" ..My good man .. The idrive controller is bigger because it contains touchpad was can be used write things like an address etc...Facelift really has nothing to do with it..Goodday to you sir ,i liked the vid for what it's worth.
Can you fit either the new headlights or taillights into a pre-facelift model? (And are the lights interchangeable between station/saloon?)

The newer one has bigger kidney grills by far. The battery charges when engine is running. Not a regen thing.
Get the same spec cars pre and post facelift and do some research then you'll sound like you know what you're talking about. What were you doing initially when starting the automatic?😳
Yer the preface in this video is six speed. It's a manual car. My automatic has 8 like a face lift. I'd personally but a face-lift next. More refined mechanics within the engine. Namely the drive chains.

Why dont you put the cars more far away from each other, it is too easy to se the differences when there is 12 meters gap between them.
1 is navi business the otter navi proffesional. Its a extra Option

I got 67 plate 320i manual, the fuel consumption is not that good
To be expected... it's a petrol. I drive a 67 reg F30 335D X Drive which is a 3 litre monster with 313 BHP, 630NM of torque and 0-60 in 5 seconds. I still get 35-40 Mpg on long runs and usually 33-34 Mpg even on spirited drives. Never seen it go below 30Mpg in the 8k miles I've covered in it. I guess that'a a diesel for you. Does mean however I've got to put up with no doubt EGR and DPF issues in the future though.

Some of the differences you pointed out are because of trim level/packages; not pre-lci vs lci. Do your homework before you post a video filled with incorrect information
