The dislike button should be removed.... fantastic work as always disco! One thing id like to suggest is the enchantment feature when it is properly released would be a great addition to this map, since you are gaining exp as you fight it would be another good feature

I made this work for 1.5+.I had to add more ticks to some repeaters and change the x2 redstone

You can use the dispensers and have continuous waves which then count up, or you could use dispensers to show how many mobs have been released

Probally the coolest thing i've seen in minecraft, period. The evil clown did it for me, fucking awesome
Add some automated devices like dispensers with arrows, fire charges, and try to implement the new tripwires into it if you can. also maybe you can drop extra experience orbs and there can be an enchanting table in the center. and as the rounds go by more bookcases will pop up. Maybe you could also have a mini boss every ten levels. A mini bunny boss perhaps?

You could add a sort of maze with a lot of monsters in, and you have to get to the middle and press a button/lever etc. When you press the button you will get to another platform, but different this time, so the platforms will change for each level you manage to suvive. There should be monsters on each platform, and of course, loot for each level you survive. This is not necessary a cake defens map, but its just an idea. Hope this helped :D

Remember the targets you had the hit on the Evil Bunny map? Well, make 5-10 of those around the room, and if you hit all of them without dying, it forces three random drops out. The targets would be reset when you die, so you'd have to add one of those special entrances where you float down on water, so you could have a redstone input when you die.
Hey Disco! This is one of my favorite maps and I was wondering if you could make it longer and stuff? Like tougher stages would have the monsters with armour and have potion effects. Make like 100 stages or something. Please :P

i tried this map with my friends not long ago and it was the most fun time i had on minecraft
you could make many cakes and you proceed to new ones when you have finished one so it is like one zombie cake, one spider cake, one skeleton cake, one creeper cake that is made of obsidian

Yeah... only problem is, you have to go the trouble of downloading it again or backing up the file for Cake Defense every single time.
But, forgetting about that, this is an awesome world buildup running here.

Maybe use spawn eggs instead of spawners for a more controlled monster swarm. You could use Etho's hyper spawners. Those are nice, too, because you can power up Herobrine's minions with potions. You can have a level in which lava pours from places and all the mobs are fire resistant.

I kinda wanna see an update of this pretty much the same but way more advanced utilizing things like the new spawners and commandblocks
You need Nether Mode, of course, a Superepicbossmode, add Fire Charges and f&s, enchanting tables, potion making stands, random drops (including filled water bottles) for potions, music, random things like snowball, iron, pumpkin, spawn ocelot, spawn wolf, fish. You get the idea.
How about putting in some parkour around by making floating platforms? Like making the giant candles climbable(but you'll need ladders as a drop), and a giant fork and a spoon to climb on (With spider spawners on each one).
Hey, disco! Why not have a way to get to other parts of the map and explore (just a little bit) off of the cake. Maybe enderpearling to an island (Floating candle?) with a treasure chest. Just a simple idea, but I like it.
Disco you should make it so that during the last level rendom harming 1 potions fly out everywhere

With the upcoming changes to enchanting in 1.3 you should give the player access to an enchanter only once half way through. Your strategy on spending the experience earned will be vital to succeed the improved challenge.

Make dispensers pop out that shoot an arrow from the pillars and then dissappear so u dont know when or where the arrows coming,
maybe movable pillars,
different spots for candles,
moving candles,
if the dispenser idea is possible, you can shoot armor from certain dispensers as a reward, from the candles,
edible cake on a button possible? if you've eaten it all it activates a trap, decreases size of the giant cake

disco your amazing and btw theres a glitch where whenI die I spawn on top of the obsidian thing and i cant get down the only way to fix it is to redownload the map but then when I die again I spawn back on top of the obsidian thing.
-Random redstone events. Example: Water will move all the items in a random area.
-Bigger cake. I would like more room to work with.
-The display will now use lamps.
-Add some type of currency.
-They can be used in shops.
-Waves can now have an exact amount of mobs using dispensers.
-Pause/Resume button
-Many difficulties you can choose.
-Mobs will have a chance to have a potion effect.
-Better loot comes further in the game.
-Iron golems or other sort of protection will be nice.
for cake defense 2, make a boss round with silver fish or cave spiders or giants etc.

have some sort of pistion system which makes it hard to focus on not getting pushed off or falling down into a pit filled with creepers or something!
Actually you can set the gamerule to turn off creepers damaging terrain via the mobGriefing gamerule.
Boss Zombies with huge amounts of health and speed potion effects and stuff like that, enchanted weapons
Drop sheets of lava over sections of the cake, just make them thin so they don't spread when they hit the ground (/cake).
Now THIS is my kind of Minecraft!
-When the giant boss of TherReedim is defeated , a nether portal appears in the center of the cake , for a nether defense , and when finished all waves of nether defense , you fal into a End portal for end defense and the enderdragon is the final boss.

Power-ups? For example sometimes random drop drops tnt, and you can throw it into sethbling's item detector, it will detect that its TNT and make some explosions :D Some other power-ups would be nice too.

you should do that you can trade with villagers and some boss levels where dispensers shoot arrows and fire balls
Make buyable fortifactions and traps. So you can out up cover from skeletons and activate lava traps for zombie. That would be awesome :D Sort of like the gears of war hoard mode.
Add an option that after 20 or so rounds, you earn an iron golem who fights for you, but spawn more monsters, or make a panic button were arrows shoot from the ceiling, engulfing the monsters with arrows :D
add zombie pigmen as a challenge round sort of thing and the gold nuggets could be used for currency if you want to buy diamond stuff because diamond armour as an end round reward will make the game a bit too easy.
I have idea at the end of each round you thrwo the stuff you got from the mobs down a hole and a counter will go up. So when you reach a certain amount a bridge will come (im thinking cobble stone genarator) and take you to a mini boss fight, then if you win you get 5 diamonds. Then you can craft them or throw them in a chest so when you come back you can have ten and so on and so on i think mabye every 50 items you can go and for the boss mabye a jumping puzzle and if you lose the water takes.

after a while you can get sand and put it it a "cataclysm bomber" this then makes TNT fall down into water blowing up mobs. also you can spawn more mobs but get better items like in the binding of issac
i have two ideas: one, some rounds of mobs should get potions like double zombie wave with strength eg. and two, you should get a new tamed wolf as help ever 2 or so mins and you could put a clock to show the time to i think people will like that. anyways please thumbs up so Disco can see and use these ideas!
