- Increased mortgage prices are prompting landlords to quit property investment.
Over 40,000 New South Wales rental homes became private housing in the last year.
SuburbTrends data shows it has severely affected Sydney's inner suburbs where supply is needed most.
2 bedroom apartment $600 - $800 pw - private
2 bedroom apartment $200 - Affordable housing
That's why investors are desperate to sell
Unregulated negative gearing and low mortgage rates created this mess! 🏡 🔥 🇦🇺
Thankfully Liebor are gone next year and the adults will be back in charge
Unfortunately not in Victoria I'm not voting for prosciutto, none of the above for me
@@meredithisme3752 like pigs in shit. Literally. Wallow in that economic mess.
Bullllllllllshiiiiiiiiiiiiit
Thanks for labour government
We destroyed our childrens future.
Howard's policies.
Albos policies.
@@madddevil1 Did albo double the capital gains concession on negative geared property?
Did albo open the market and make it easier for foreign buyers?
Did albo sell off billions of public housing to property developers and in NSW?
Did albo squash workers wages for a decade?
Answer is no fw.
The Labor party tried to change and limit negative gearing and got slaughtered in the Murdoch and Fairfax 9 media.
I'll bet you didn't vote for these changes but you winge and regurgitate Sky news.
@@madddevil1 you are probably a boomer with investment properties.
@bretloyd8097 definitely not a boomer lol but I have multiple investment properties that are now all empty and up for sale. Which fuels the high rental demand. It's not worth the hassle, and these days, it's better to invest in pseudo moralistic projects with fat government subsidies...just say it's green and they throw money at it 😆 🤣 😂
Step 1: Buy land in "unlivable" area using whatever cash you have. Step 2: Make yourself able to live in "unlivable" area by tapping into the strength your ancestors had when they journeyed into the unknown. Step 3: Stop paying interest by paying off all of your debt and never borrowing again. Commit to being debt free until you die - no matter the consequences. Step 4: Surround yourself with like minded people.
over half of all new mortgages are still investment properties so i doubt it
Why would you want to rent out your home when tenants don't look after it and the landlord has no powers over the property 🤔
Imagine the Dutton family living in Kirribilli.....😳
All the dealers of Tom Duttons treats will be their neighbours ....🤪
😆😆😆....
Do you use the same dealers and then go to Taylor Swift shows with Albo?
All controlled demolition
As I have been saying all along …..Aussie property owners are selling their investment properties to cash in the high price.
Interest rate is high ….you must sell to lock in the gains.
Without international investors, there will be fewer and fewer properties for rent.
Rentals will be tough to get.
Eliminating Chinese buyers come back to roost .
Aussie properties investors are few.
Albo should be living in Redfern 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Exodus?
More like rich get richer … so on
SOME landlords who have over extended themselves and now can't afford the repayments on their investment mortgages.
Oh well, very sad 😂
It is but we do need investors so people have got places to rent. It’s all out of whack sadly for everyone . The borrowing ratio property’s are way over priced
No shit most can’t afford the investment in the first place, it’s for bbq bragging rights, an investment is something that pays you money. A mortgage free home, rented out is an investment property
