Ty Sir for all the break down I’ve been Lic for almost 20 years and I still watch as many videos as I can. I still am learning a tip, trick, hack that I can use to improve final product.
@ how to know exactly where to stop/flick with the shaver, i usually face trimmer down first (below original 0 line) to make a more 0 of a line to see a harsher line to remove from shaver if that makes sense
Typically nothing they teach you in barber college will make sense. But you’re paying your dues and getting your license, which is commendable. Try this system with EVERY cut that comes in, and I think you’ll be satisfied
Thanks for this video. Gotta watch again and take notes cuz I definitely need to get faster. I am a cosmo crossover just went to barber school this year and it would be helpful to show the process using someone with really long grown out hair...a lot of these videos they start off showing the fade when they are already at like a 2 or shorter. I am just always curious about how people go about it cuz at school most of the time he just said to start with a 4 and go down and he wouldn't start the fade until the hair was to at least a 1.5 I just feel like I jump all over the place sometimes with my cuts...Especially bald fades or skin fades with super thick long dark hair.
Nah I like the 1.5 guard because it has longer teeth making it easier to feed through longer hair. In some circumstances you can sculpt with a 1.5 and skip the 1 maybe just fade it out with a half. Especially tapers tight spaces like that
If you plan to be a barber as a career, you need to find a way to get your license. If professionalism is a goal you’re going to have, if that’s what you want your reputation to be, think about who is going to hire you to work in their shop without the Ls? Do they hold their business to a high standard if they let anybody walk in with no paper? Likely not. Do what you gotta do, but holding yourself to a high standard is going to be the best route. No license puts a low roof over your head
Yeah bro it’s fire you can see I sing even use the clipper charging feature at the moment but I use it for my phone! The slots make it real easy to organize and to clean as well. It’s a heavy duty rubber. If you like man take a discount my code is TitoCuts on tomb45.com
This system triggered my OCD. Those fades turned out so inconsistent because you didn’t go from guideline to guideline. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who is actually trying to please their client. 30 min robbery right here.
That’s one cutting style for sure! These customers all come in regularly and pay generously. Nobody is getting robbed lol. I’m trying to teach barbers how to scale and get paid efficiently. I would encourage you to hop on TH-cam and teach them how to do perfectly neat guidelines if that’s your thing! 🙏
I heard your explaining many times, but still you work on a client 50-75 minutes. oke, sometimes 45 minutes if he goes regurly to the barbershop, say once in the 3 weeks. if you will work fast, in 35-45 minutes you can't deliver quality. so the question remains. how do you deliver quality in shorter time? it really depends of the client, you have to accept that sometimes you really work 75 minutes, but in most cases it will be 50-65 minutes At the end of this video you talk about more money. It's always getting more money. I have another point of view. Quality and satisfied customers, so they come back to you, money is nice but less important than a satisfied cutomer
What I’m talking about is running a business. What you’re talking about is a operating more like a hobby/hustle because you love the art. 2 different lanes brother I’m trying to scale a career, you won’t be able to do that at 75 minutes unless you’re charging exorbitant amounts of money. Join our free community in skool and you can tell us more about your perspective I’m definitely interested to discuss it further www.skool.com/tomb45
@@TitoCuts After 2 weeks i see this video again, it seems I am learning more of this video. Repeat repeat, and you learning more and more hhhhhh Thanks anyway
If you want to cut faster stop using those non efficient cordless machines ,, those have no cutting power compared to ones with cords. A fade is done in 15 minutes
I respect the OG’s and the machines of that time! Some machines out now, this is true. However any day of the week I would 100% take portability over the awkwardness of cutting with a cable. I’ll never go back
Thank you for discussing the difference between cutting using the teeth/heel of the guard. That's not discussed often enough.
Big facts!! I’m glad you appreciated that
Ty Sir for all the break down

My guy!!! #6FB
This system is one I’m gonna give a shot as the system I’ve been “trained” to follow doesn’t make any sense to me in my barber college.
Typically nothing they teach you in barber college will make sense. But you’re paying your dues and getting your license, which is commendable. Try this system with EVERY cut that comes in, and I think you’ll be satisfied
Report back let me know how it goes!

Can u not fade straight from a 1 or 1/2 guard?
Thats so much quicker than using all them extra guards! Js

Do u think that i need to go to school

SKIP GUARD Fading is one of the easiest ways to Blend/Taper
100% i won’t be switching my system lol. But hey if he thinks he has a lane for fading line by line by all means! Teach!

How long does a skin fade take you?
@@DanMichaels-h4u like I said 50-60 sometimes 45. Children you can do in 30 min
15-20 minutes. Then I’ll detail for another ten minutes so it should never take more than a 30 minute appointment
