Wow, I never thought I'd see the day that you took your rise tinted glasses off and calling Piastri out. He is also making the McLaren management look even worse for not backing Lando sooner, if he'd still been in contention their earlier decisions not to favour Lando would have been correct, but now, people are thinking how much closer to Max, Lando would be if Piastri had been made to yeald to Lando. Do you think he is sulking now Lando is being given preference until the end of the season. In my opinion Max had it coming with the 20 second penalty, this attitude of Max, with Lando in that if neither of them finish it benefits Max, so whenever Lando tries to overtake Max he either has to leave the circuit or risk not finishing, Max needs to warning from the FIA that is he does this again or if he takes out another driver completely he faces a 50 point deduction, that is the only thing that will stop Max, he is going back to his petulant self that kept trying to take Lewis Hamilton out in so many races. If he keeps on like this, Max will seriously injure someone, then I would like to see him charged with attempted murder. I like Max and thought he was a breath of fresh air at first, but he is fast becoming an entitled brat, and I think that is beacuase both Helmut Marko and Christian Halliwell have nurtured this side of Max and encouraged it, and given him a massive chip on his shoulder by always playing the underdog and pretending to be the small independent team up against all these giant works teams, never mentioning they are one of the best funded teams in F1 backed by one tbe the world's larges drinks manufacturers. Anyway rant over Max will win the drivers title and set another record being the only driver to do so in a car that came 3rd in the constructors championship, that will give his fan boys another thing to cream their pants over. As for the vast majority of the season the RB was not the 3rd best car it was the best by a long way and in reality it is still not that far behind Ferrari and I would say it is on a par with McLaren.
@@simply_psi Yes Oscar needs calling out and Lando has silenced Piastri lovers lately as for Max he was over top in Mexico got what he deserved will he change in Brazil I think not
@mufcracer8609 I do love your honest. You are right Max won't change, he seems to think he has the right to do whatever it takes to stop someone overtaking him, and his attitude to Lando, just helps to prove that a lot of the 'incidents' with Lewis, were Max's fault.
He knows he has upper hand on Lando on every level and Lando praising him shows all wrong signs so Max just exposes this, however Fia need to punish him hard like in Mexixo to stop this repeating
Cmon mate there is light at the end of the darkest tunnel We’ve just got Armorin However on F1 notes Me being a Williams I’m just wondering Do you think we should get rid of Albon at the end making way for Sainz or do you think colopinto is just riding a crest of a wave ATM I’m going for a Sainz/Franco team
I know it’s very unlikely, but we have seen previously, drivers who have been given a new chassis, suddenly finding pace again. In fact I think that happened to Vettel at least once. I may be wrong. But whomever driver it was, it was discovered that the tub had split or de-bonded somewhere internally. I’m just handing out a little bit of “benefit of the doubt“ for now. Rock on! Totally agreed on the “hurry up” being given, McLaren can ill-afford sloppy results with the Constructor’s title on the line.
I do seem to remember that Vettel had a damaged chassis or something at 2011 German GP (Nurburgring). The only race that season he didn't have the pace to fight for the win. The only weekend Mark Webber was better that season. Mark won Brazil as Seb has a gearbox issue but still finished 2nd.
Has been far too patchy, has had times like Baku where we almost forget it’s only his 2nd season only to be reminded after. Quali especially Lando’s butchered him. Wouldn’t say McLaren really deserve to win either title for how strategically inept they been at times and if they throw the constructors along with the drivers, surely the greatest botch job in history!
The McLaren design team engineers deserve to win both championships with the car they've designed. Nobody else though deserves to win either championship, that's what I will say. 2012 was by far the worst bottlejob by McLaren. They had the best car that season overall by about 3 tenths. (There's actual data which shows this). Reliability was shocking (Hamilton especially). Along with the fact the team made a lot of operational errors and several pit stop problems. Even Ferrari beat McLaren to 2nd that season, despite the fact McLaren won 7 races (joint most with Red Bull) whereas Ferrari only 3 with magic Alonso.
