How well did the CYMA parts hold up to use? When online I found that a lot of airsoft for mp5 is sold. Also found alot if metal parts that can replace the gsg plastic bits. Cyma in the US says airsoft? Making sure I'm seeing the correct item. O know the gsg is only a .22 and polymer, kinda cool to find metal airsoft to replace the parts with.
as i said, for the price from china the cyma is good value. if im too rough and crack it, i wont cry. i bought all my airsoft parts last year before the rest of the canadians emptied the shelves worldwide. unfortunate, most of the airsoft factories are located in china and they were shut down due to covid, even if production resumed, supply lines has been cut from that country, reduced flights... its takes ridiculously long time to get non-gun items, like 4 months.
To each his own , i personally think the stock GSG16 looks good just the way it is ! just add a red dot or tactical scope and maybe a forearm grip and you're fine ! Hey more props too you tho for doing you're own thing !!!!
if you like it, thats all that matters but dont forget GSG lost a 10 years long running legal battle with H&K over dress infringement. GSG16 had to look fugly otherwise H&K wouldn't have approved the design, lol.
I would have to disagree. For the prices I paid for those airsoft stocks, I know they are good value and much better than the OEM stock which to me is also ugly and stupid idea for a mag holder.

Are you sure yours is a GSG 16? I just bought one and I was taking it apart, but mine doesn't have the bushing with the pin hole under the handguard. I removed the plastic picatinny rails and their is a plastic m-lok frame. The m-lok frame mounts to the gun by 3 small screws(1 on each side towrds the back, and 1 on the bottom towards the front). I wanted to put on an airsoft handguard like the triangle one you have, but without that pin hole mount, I don't think I can make it work.

Is yours the Gen 1 model? I just bought one today and mine has a top picatinny rail made of plastic and the sights dont look anything like yours. Yours have the sights like the H&K MP5 22 . Did yours come like that or did you do a conversion on that as well?
He customized his Front Iron sights already; I saw another video of him replacing the stock iron sights to a round Mp5-looking sights. I just bought mine this week as well and he removed his front barrel rails, I guess for him to attach his new mods easily. There are basically 2 revisions of this gun besides the 9" barrel version. If you received the Flat paddle charging handle it means you received the first version of GSG-16 which eventually they replaced it in the 2nd revision with a tube charging handle which is better and sturdier, you can do an HK slap every time without worrying that it'll break
Does your CYMA stock come out if you don’t stop pulling on it? Just received mine today and fits nice and snug but there’s no ‘stop’ and just comes right out.

BTW - The foregrips/forend dont fit the stock GSG16 unless you have a converted cocking tube, like you have. I ordered a new handguard first thinking it would just fit, again, based on your videos. I had to order a GSG5 cocking tube.

Are you are talking about the retractable stock that came with the 16? Yes, it will hold an extra mag and it doesn't matter whether it's attached to a 522 or gsg-5.

i think at that camera distance, its a nice balance of close enuff to see details of what im doing and not get distracted with me parts and tools that are usually out of sight but within arms reach. also i dont have the luxury of space as im confined to my small office but i will try to put back a bit.

Good information, except cutting down the collapsing stock rails (you could end up with a working rifle that is too short and illegal doing that). And I have to say, I cannot for the life of me agree with anyone who says good cinematography. Too much is put out of frame and you move too fast for your eyes to focus on the object. If you rehearse before filming and review before posting you will improve viewability a ton. But, good effort and overall good info.

@@gnutzguy When you were talking about the stock's rails covering the ejection port you said you could just cut it so it would clear the port and fire when the stock was collapsed...

There are no gen. It's either carbine 16" barrel or SBR 9". Check out my other videos. You will seek the rear sight is an option.

yes, HK pins are very convenient but dont get long cos its for fixed stock, get the receiver pins, get two.

airsoft stocks mimics the real ones so it should fit with slight mod. airsoft handguards require far more mod.

Yes, if you get a conversion kit. The SD can is threaded and it screws into the front sight block of the kit is also threaded.

My gsg-16 came with a stock very similar if not the same.
