you are my favorit youtuber by far ,although i have no knowledge about electronic items/ gaming consoles. i was an aircraft electrician and now i have my own hvac company. And still I think about repairing consoles in my little freetime even though I don't even play on them. just because it seems so satisfying when you repair them. the way you try to find the cause of an problem and show us how you try to fix it step by step with every mistake when you do them is pretty much the most real thing i saw on youtube in a while. please stay the way you are because you, your videos and your personality(as far as i can judge) are awesome. cheers mate ( sorry for the bad english, speaking is easier then typing lol ) greetings from germany
I can't chat much, but I watch your streams while working. I love your transparency of time spent and how you find the issues. Your series are great, and I'm so glad streams are adding to your content and providing a learning experience for all. There is a lot of ways to make money in electronics repair. Joey has TH-cam/Twitch. If you want a niche, find local factories and manufacturers. Inquire as to what they use for machinery, and learn to repair those machine boards. THAT is how you will make good profit if you want to work for yourself. Best wishes to all!
Just quick, for 15 minute intervals, you can use 0.25, Use it for work calculations all the time as 4 15 mins is 1 hour, 4 0.25 is 1, hope that helps, every minute helps♥️
TECHNICALLY speaking…. I know it’s a bit too late to do anything about the previous repairs maybe, but could do it from here on out. If you are farming parts from previous repair attempts that you would otherwise have to buy the replacement/replacements, then technically speaking the parts console is still (in a way) making money. Like that retimer chip if I was to buy it from my supplier would have cost me around $12 US. So in theory if you took the chip off of the One S from the first one, it would have been -$25 + $12 = -$13. All the consoles you have that are for parts can be parted out for sometimes more than what you have in it. Might be something to consider thinking about.
I just fixed my digital One S by slapping in a SSHD, powered on with no picture and turned off about a minute later so pulled the HDD out and Crystalinfo (sadly the AOI pinky blue version O.o) said nyetski twas one dead HDD so set up a fresh OSU1 and shoved it in there once it powered up with troubleshooting and its now a happy digital One S... My Battlefield One S is not so good, no power but PSU chucking out the right volties so am going to watch your vid again and go thru the troubleshooting chipwise and see whats buggered up :P BTW a shout out to folks who like me has OG Xbox One's lurking about, if you find the price of SATA SSD's a little much, look to a 1tb SSHD which are tons faster than HDD's but not as fast as an SSD but will make your OG Xbox One seem like a new beastie and them OG's will run anything a S can in 1080p, been playing Diablo 4 on my Forza edition OG Xbox One and its jus' awesome.
I wonder if, once you've got a load of them you can't use anymore, you could just sell off the donor boards as for parts/component salvage etc? You must have so many donor boards by now!
Have to be honest, not a big fan of so many items being bought by fans, doesn't feel like a fair representation of how someone sourcing from online would typically get their items, as buying the item from a fan has a greater chance of it being in better condition.
I see that, however I also think in this game you have to use whatever resources you can. There's a lot of people that have access to E Waste companies etc that get GREAT condition fault items, you just have to put the effort in :)
Hi Matt, I can't say I agree, how is it any different than people paying cash donations to the channel? I'm looking at sending Joey some (hopefully) fixable tech for content on his channel, and this is out of choice, like someone who donates money. Though Joey is providing a valueble service, this is also his bread and butter.
@@JoeyDoesTechMate life's too short to pick holes in where the content comes from IMHO. Same quality, same pacing, no less engaging. Plus the Brucie Bonus, being able to see more solves thanks to input of your community 🫡
Joey, I know NOTHING about electronics. Yet, I watch you faithfully. Thank you for great content.
I like watching this series more than watching anything on Netflix (except breaking bad)
I’ll take second place to Bryan Cranston! 😂😊❤

I bought the 2nd Xbox! Whoop!
Remember the days of PCs when Foxconn was actually a brand for motherboards for them instead of just HDMI ports lol
Hugee
thanks for the video why you selling xbox s for just 60 pound when the original c box one are going for 80 pound
i hope get attenshion tommorow say hello ? good vid joey
Hellllooooo :)
that is some nice priced ps5's, I can't find a ps5 broken for cheaper than 350$ canadian which is a huge gamble
Not worth it. Things are way inflated in Canada. Im in BC run into the same problem. People want a million dollars for broken crap
Attempt 25 of asking joey for his fluke multimeter
Scammed by your viewers LOL
Buying below market value cause of subscriber generosity is cheating

Anyone else feel cheated when the TH-cam posts for Profit or Loss end up being regurgitated Twitch streams?
No not really, why does it matter?
That’s fair enough, I understand 😊 It takes quite a bit of pressure off the uploads, but I appreciate the feedback.
@@JoeyDoesTechI'm never on the streams Joe so I'm just as interested as always. Loving the channel since you went full time 👏🏼
