- Getter Robo G (ゲッターロボG) is the second robot used by the Getter Team and successor to the original Getter Robo. Significantly stronger than the original, this Getter Machine was used to fight the Hyakki Empire. Unlike its predecessor who was designed primarily for space travel, Getter G was built mainly for combat.

Getter Robo(aka Starvengers movie) was the second OVA Anime I saw. This had a huge impact on me as a kid, in second grade, 1981, as it showed the unlimited possibilities of science fiction and anime. Glad to see others still remember the good old stuff today! I am almost 50 years old and I still revisit all of it.

ドラゴンの頭部変形は、ポセイドン号合体の後だよな〜。
足が伸びて形になってから、最後に扇子が開くみたいな感じでしたよね
まぁ、チェンジを参考にした場合もあるし...
そもそも、ドラゴンとライガー、ライガーとポセイドン、どっちが先に合体するんでしたっけ。大分前に見たきりなので記憶が曖昧になってまして。
@@user-uv9nv4ef8o ゲッター1と違って、ゲッタードラゴンは、上半身の合体（ドラゴン＋ライガー）が先です。
それを言ったら、ゲッターライガーもドラゴンとポセイドンが合体した時点で既に脚が出ているのが正しい。
動画終了のあと、しばらく放心状態だった… 原作を研究したうえで格段にアップグレードされている。凄い。痺れるほどにエキサイティング。

I see you didn't even try to make the transformations mechanical. And I don't blame you a bit. What amazes me about this video is just how danged fast everything is.
When you watch the old show and just see the parts stretch and pull in and out of the jets... yeah, it's got to just be morphs.

u look at their anime transformations and tell me how is that even remotely physically possible, even Getter Armageddon just straight up has most of the transformations made morphing instead
Getter has always been outrageous! That's why the morphs work. Great video BTW. The ridiculousness of Kenny's work is the basis of modern day mecha as we know it.
To be fair, this is getter robo we are talking about, besides, i think eventually it gets explained, kinda.

こちらのCGアニメもスゴいかも、、、？某スパロボの合体や攻撃技も再現してる上に声もちゃんと入ってる❗3DCGの再現度がハンパないんですけど👀！?
ドラゴンの足はポセイドン号のエンジンが変形したものなんだから、動画でもエンジン部分をモーフィングさせて足にしてほしかったな。あとトマホークも肩から出してほしかったな。

Big! Only three notes: a color is either metallic or mate, the moviments stil too slow and the background not well defined. However the result is good.

Good work! however, within my mind who watched the anime in real time in 1970s, the Getter's shape were more organic, in other words, smooth form.
Whaaa? These are very smooth. Maybe its just the usage of organic, when robots are hard surface. But either way, for a fan made thing, these aren't too bad. They could certainly use some polish in the texture and lighting department, but the models aren't horrible.

ボヤッキー等の細身キャラのイメージが強い八奈見乗児さんですが(究極は一反木綿ｗ？)、ゲッターの車弁慶や巨人の星の伴宙太のような大柄キャラの声が(声も)好き。
ゲッターがグレンダイザーとの共演時、竜馬隼人の二人はデューク・フリードを「大介さん」とさん付けで呼ぶのに弁慶だけ「大介くん」と君付けで呼ぶのよねーｗ年下設定のはずなのにｗ
