I know I look a lot more sad in this video - and for obvious reasons. But it's how I was (and kind of still am), and I was allowing myself to genuinely feel those negative feelings (rather than hiding from them and pretending everything was okay). I hope you enjoyed the video regardless, and possibly related to the pain and grief. I'm starting to understand my own editing style as well, which is quite lovely!
All content doesn't need to be positive, first and foremost. Your storytelling and videos are super easy to follow. My condolences for your loss. I know how you feel. DISCLAIMER: long sad story -- My family (more like my own dog) had a black lab named Coal. We got him when he was like 5 or 6. He had an amazing life. I loved him. Him and I had the greatest connection. He was always happy to see me wagging his tail, licking my face, putting his in my lap. I loved this dog like my child. One day, he was limping and in a lot of pain. He was put down. It felt like a part of my soul was ripped out. RIP Coal ♥
Thank you - I need the reminder that content doesn't need to be HAPPY all the time - and that everyone knows the feeling of losing a pet! I'm so sorry you lost Coal - he sounds like a lovely lil pup. Losing a pet you loved after having them for so long like that must have been absolutely devastating. Losing an animal but knowing it was the responsible choice to protect the animal and keep them from feeling pain is such a weird experience. RIP Coal and Wrigley - I bet they're playing together wherever they are!
