Quickly explaining the lore here: Mel has returned to Noxus, presumably to fight against the Black Rose and discover their intentions for her. The Black Rose is deeply tied into the history of Noxus: they have had a major part to play in the region's development since ancient times. Vladimir, the man who walks in on the sorceress at the cinematic's end, and the sorceress herself, who's name is LeBlanc, are the Black Rose's founders, having used the Arcane to extend their lifespans for hundreds of years. LeBlanc and Vladimir are two of the most mysterious characters in the lore: LeBlanc was a mage on the council of the lord of the underworld, but after she severed his ties to the mortal world, she went underground and is rarely seen or heard from. Vladimir was a hostage who was experimented on with blood magic and has continuously reinvented his identity to maintain influence in Noxian politics. The soldier with the axe is Darius. Specifically, this is a young Darius before he became the right-hand man to the current Noxian emperor, Jericho Swain. During his early life, Darius spent a lot of time in Noxus' north, fighting off raids from the Freljord and its various tribes. In his scene, he fights a troll named Trundle, who seeks to conquer land in the south. Trundle is unique among trolls in that he is Iceborn: he has a supernatural resistance to the cold, and this gives him the ability to wield True Ice weapons, which are so cold that they freeze on contact: think instant frostbite kind of freeze. Even without true ice weapons, Iceborn warriors are some of the fiercest in the world, so an Iceborn Troll warrior is twice as worse. The fact that Darius was able to go toe-to-toe with Trundle, and beat him on top of that, is no small feat. The red-haired assassin is named Katarina. She's one of Noxus' best assassins and is currently in the employ of Jericho Swain. Swain is opposed to the Black Rose and wants to uproot their influence in Noxus, and he does that by sending assassins after influential nobles who are under the Black Rose's thumb. This particular noble is protected by Elise, a member of the Black Rose who was mutated into a half-spider creature by Vilemaw, the self-proclaimed King of Spiders. Elise is useful to the Rose because being Vilemaw's servant gives her basically a free pass on the Shadow Isles, a haunted archipelago in the southeast of the map. While Elise isn't busy recovering relics of the Shadow Isles' past for the Rose or making sacrifices to Vilemaw, she spends time trying to sway nobles to the Black Rose's side.
@@GeneralPet Katarina is anti-Rose, her sister Cassiopeia is the member of the Black Rose. Katarina went with their father to become an assassin, and Cass stayed with their mother where she initiated Cass into the order. If I had to make a guess on what the story of the new season will be, I would say that it is going to follow Katarina and Cass as Story A which will parallel the dynamic of Swain and LeBlanc. Story B will be Darius and Draven as they are taken in by Noxus. I hope they don't rush it, but I want The Invasion of Ionia and the Mutiny of Jericho Swain to be the end point of that storyline. Story ends with Kat being sent out to kill Jarvan III during the Mage Rebellion, and Cass being tasked to find a certain tomb and hiring a certain Shuriman mercenary, as well as Jericho, Leblanc, and Darius becoming the three pillars (maybe they do add Sacrifice and Mel joins as the 4th pillar.
One small anecdote/correction: Swain is technically NOT Emperor, as he instead dismantled the monarchy after overthrowing Boram Darkwill and instituted the Trifarix, a militaristic meritocratic system in its place. While Swain is still generally considered the leading force in Noxus, he does not rule with royal authority and is theoretically on equal footing with his other two Trifarix council members, being Darius and 'The Faceless', who is Definitely-Not-Leblanc. Each of the three Trifarix councilors also represent or embody one of the three Pillars or Principles of Strength-Swain is Vision, Darius is Might, and 'The Faceless' is Cunning. I'm curious where in the timeline we are. This is clearly a younger Darius, so this must be well before Ionia. Maybe we'll meet Quilletta and Decius? My current theory is at some point in the Noxus series-if we assume it follows a similar 2 season structure-we're going to go through a significant time jump and be brought to the Ionian invasion.
I fully get your gripes with season 2, but i just wanted to say Vi absolutely did not even know that jinx was going to kill herself. Thats clear in every way she acts especially her reaction to being reunited being "looks like you shouldnt have come back" rather than, idk, "omg jinx, you're alive! I thought i lost you!" Note that Vi has never dealt with jinx's suicidal ideation before
To be clear, this is NOT a trailer for the next show, it's about the new league of legends season. Arcane literally just ended the next show isn't coming anytime soon
I mean, i would buy that, except instead of just "2025 cinematic" the title is "seaon 1 2025 cinematic" ... I know its odd but "season 1" it is definitely NOT
@@luistigerfox Riot is coming out with "Seasons" this gaming year, so there will be several "Seasons" of League of Legends as the year goes by. This season is Noxus, the next Season is unknown.
As a clarification: every new year Riot release a Cinematic Music Video with what's to expect "next" in the upcoming year (highly recommend "The Call" and "Awake") This time they shifted from a yearly Season schedule to a three months Season, so this is the trailer not for LoL S15 nor LoL Season 2025 (as before) but LoL NEW S1, with elements from both Arcane and the ingame lore (the Masquerade is a skin-line with other Champs). So... Riot is apparently dedicated to push this new "lore reset", wonder how long it'll endure this time... Edit: Axe-Jayce is the goat Darius fighting Trundle, the King of Trolls during his military campaign in the Freljord region
Was just about to comment something like this! And also along the lines of the cinematics, the whole thing with the "disjounted-ness" of the scene cuts is purposeful. I think most of the cinematics (if I'm not mistaken) end up telling 2-3 mini stories within them. Sometimes those stories connect, but oftentimes they're just stories for the sake of showing some cool-ass scenes lol. I'm not an LoL player (nor do I ever plan to be haha) but I think it's cool that Riot decided to connect with Arcane this way, I'm just hoping it doesn't backfire for them, cuz I honestly doubt it will for the show itself.
I haven't played league in ages long before arcane first came out, but it was so great to see so many characters I knew back then show up in arcane style. Like Trundle. I used to love playing Trundle. I never expected to see him in an arcane video, especially one about Noxus.
If they've already got designs for these new characters as well as already having 3D models available (Darius looks a lot like Jayce, Katarina seems to be modeled after Cait) then Riot and Fortiche most likely have been working on the show for awhile. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a release date announcement this summer and the show drops in late November.
10:37 if you look at the markings under her eyes, you can tell it's the same person who kidnapped Mel in season 2 :) More than the rest of the trailer, this scene in particular seems like a teaser for the next show
I get that ppl think s2 a bit rushed, esp when they spent the whole ep 7 showing What could have been instead of exploring more of the other stories. I still think overall season 2 is way more interesting than s1 and I don’t mind the pacing. But I have to disagree with you on the jail scene. Vi didn’t know exactly what was on Jinx’s mind or what she meant by breaking the cycle. It could mean so many different things, and they showed that when cait found vi in the cell. “I thought she was going to help”… that was vi’s line. And for the first time in her life, she’s finally living for herself.. to take what she wants , and free to love who she loves. Jinx made it clear for her to stop worrying about her and to live her life. I do respect what your opinion is, even though I disagree your viewpoint.
There are some things in season 2 that I found were a bit out of place, like the whole Black Rose plotline for instance, it didn't match with any other storyline it was like a separate thing. But as a whole, I found S2 just superior to S1. Animation got even better, which is crazy. The art overall got an unexpected upgrade, lots of cool still shots. The emotional moments hit harder. Some new characters were insanely good (rip isha). That being said, season 1 is a 10/10 masterpiece as well
I think you’re being a bit hard on season two. I’m not a league player and I still enjoyed every second of it. I’m not blind to the pacing issues, but I don’t think it’s as big a problem as people make it out to be. Also, how was Vi supposed to know what Jinx was going to do? All she said was “break the cycle.” How was Vi supposed to know what that meant. And I think the “music videos” were a great way of utilizing visual storytelling with minimal dialogue. I love scenes that do that and I think this show excels at it. Yes, the pacing was a bit clunky, and a few side characters could have been utilized better, but all thing considered, with the limited number of episodes, I commend them for making it as enjoyable as they did. Regardless, while this trailer may not give much in terms of story, there are a lot of hints of what’s to come. And I can’t wait to see more.
100% agree. Not to mention pacing is an easy thing to fix. There shouldn’t be any reason to worry that much about the new series. They’re probably aware that people didn’t like the pacing of season 2 and will avoid it in the future. Not to mention the first season of any series is way less likely to be too fast pace. Regardless I don’t think the writing was an issue and I don’t think it being fast pace is all that important. The Owl House was similarly rushed due to time constraints, but was still great regardless. I guess I’m just someone that isn’t affected much by a story being faster paced/rushed. I could still follow the plot just fine. The black rose was definitely something that should probably have been left out, but I’m not going to give the series that hard of a time about it. I personally liked season 2 way more. Probably because I care less about build up and introductions. I preferred seeing Jinx and Isha’s relationship, Jjnx’s dynamic with Sevika, and Jinx actually getting better and rekindling her relationship with Vi. But that’s just me, I’ve seen a lot of people who simply aren’t good at keeping up with stories if they’re rushed, fast pace, or have a lot of plot lines. Not trying to say it’s the viewers fault if they can’t keep up, just that people are different in terms of the amount of information they can handle. That being said Arcane is absolutely not nearly as rushed as some other series have done. Could have been way worse.
ikr. so in conclusion, she did not understand the storyline hence it's "inferior" compared to season 1. that's such a nonsense take 😂 season 2 is way better than S1 albeit both are amazing.
@@Mae11473 I kinda dont get the criticism to leave how the Black Rose stuff, It sets up Ambessa and her motivations, Pacing fixed or not I don't think its something that could have been left out.
Yeah exactly, I don't think Vi knew AT ALL that Jinx intended to end her own life, the way Vi talked with Cait made it sound more like she felt she was pushed away (betrayed) by Jinx once again, she felt just like she felt in the end of Season 1 when she tried to save Jinx only to be tied up and have to watch her nuking the council and killing Caits mom...
I think it's also important to note that Vi NEVER really got to know Jinx. She always met her and saw her out of context, only exception is when they were with Warwick, but there she only got to know a stable, confident and even kinda happy Jinx. She knows Jinx has some issues and is "crazy" but she has no clue of all the guilt that's still dragging her down, she doesn't know how willing Jinx is to give up her own life. She doesn't know her sister
7:46 I feel the cinematics' story is subtle but pretty clear even if you've only watched Arcane. You don't need to know the characters to understand the story. For example, The fight between the Noxian commander and Troll isn't some random scene thrown in from time to time it's a core part of the story being told in the trailer. The title of the cinematic is Welcome To Noxus. It's an introduction to a new part of Runeterra. Mel is the viewer's anchor character. Someone we know and can follow into this new land. The opening monologue states that only the strong survive in Noxus, The fight shows a Noxian commander (Darius), we know he is aligned with Noxus because we can see the Noxian guards around him, we've seen them in season 2 of Arcane, he's also wearing the red and black Noxian colors. He's displaying his natural brute strength to defeat this giant ice troll (Trundle). The music cuts just before the fight to emphasize the brutality of their clash. Without the use of magic, technology, or any of the powers we know from arcane he's able to defeat this daunting foe. The scene with the red haired woman (Katarina) and the spider woman (Elise) is showing themes of intrigue and deception. It's an assassination on some important man linked presumably to the Black Rose. Again we see a fight but this time it's not a display of strength it's a more a deadly dance between our two characters displaying both character's skill in battle. Katarina is more agile and lethal with her strikes compared to Darius, this is shown in the fight where she quickly takes out her target while dodging Elise's attacks. The trailer comes to an end with Mel, our anchor character, walking off screen towards Noxus symbolizing us, the viewer, entering this new land as well. TLDR: The cinematic tells a cohesive story that works as an introduction to Noxus, specifically for arcane fans with no lore knowledge beyond arcane, displaying to the viewer the core values and themes of the land.
You can see the Noxian army behind and the trolls in the mountains. You can see the Noxian army as a whole unit with the trolls formed in groups. This can be seen as a parallel to the Roman legions facing tribes confederations. You can make out distinct groups of trolls. And at the end you can see the troll king being carried away while the distant watchers bow in front of the Noxian general.
I still love season 2. I followed it really well and I don't know anything about League of Legends. The political intrigue, the emotional character arcs, and ending points all felt natural to me after season 1. Of course, I'm used to engaging in stories with complicated plots and am autistic, so maybe I just see something different when I watch. And on the point regarding the jail sex scene, I understand your point especially with your personal tragedy, but it seemed to me like Vi didn't know that was what Jinx was doing. When Cait showed up, Vi's reaction about being stupid and trusting Jinx seemed more like she thought Jinx was simply running away and had no idea what she planned. But I can understand why Vi missing the signs and then having jail sex would seem off in a different context.
Same here. I didn’t have much trouble following it. The black rose seemed unnecessary in the sense that I definitely thought they shouldn’t be adding another plot line, but that’s just a minor issue I had. One thing I’ve learned from watching various reactions is that people are very different when it comes to how much information they can handle. I’ve seen reactors with the absolute worst retention when it comes to the shows they watch. As in they forget or miss major plot points, even if they were made very clear, and it causes them to get confused about things that definitely shouldn’t be confused about. It’s like the they’re watching the show but 50% of it goes over their head as if they weren’t listening. Anyway that’s all to say that some people simply don’t do well with fast pace stories. I’ve definitely gotten used to stories that are complicated or rushed, so for me Arcane being rushed was just a minor flaw in my eyes and didn’t really affect my experience much.
Two answer your thoughts about arcane season 2 you stated at the beginning is as follows, the trailer paired with sucker is to introduce the dynamic of where Noxus is politically following the death of Silco and how there was no firm leadership to present any sort of opposition to Piltover until people rallied behind the idea of jinx as the only sort of opposition that illustrated any efficacy. To answer your question about why the arm scene was important is that it showcased Sevica's decision to back Jinx and how that came about, Sevica in season one wanted to constantly get rid of Jinx and is also seen to be loyal once she declares allegence, so episode two had to show why Sevica would side with her and help her out, with the arm being what ultimately cemented her loyalty. Also regarding Vi and Caitlin, Vi was not privy to anything regarding suicidal ideation in Jinx nor does anything Jinx said imply it without context, additionaly Caitlin basically allowed Vi to decide what happened with Jinx despite Jinx killing her mom and implied that she was still interested in Vi after Vi had been self destructing for weeks to months after a breakup of a situationship. I think that Vi was so caught up in the moment that she wasn't really trying to decifer her sister's mind state after talking to her for at most a week or two after being separated for years.
Saying you prefer S1 over S2 because it felt rushed is completely reasonable. Not being able to watch S2 because you don't know what's going on is just laughable. S1 also has similar flaws to S2, but the overall quality was so unexpected those flaws aren't discussed and everyone just hyperfixates on S2. S2 was a 9 instead of a 9.5, not sure why so many people can't stop complaining.
I'm curious, what are the flaws of s1 you saw? (Non related to LoL) Because I can only think of 1 maybe 2, but I could sit and name you about 50 for s2
@@WeeLassReacts completing shitting on the other writers for that vi not going after her sister scene while praising thw writer who wrote it (Amanda) is wild. It blatant ignorant asf. You can see some of this writing too with another show she wrote, monarch. You're giving her too much credit, when half of the s1 writers weren't there probably due to the pandemic. You act like s2 is complete dogshit when it's not. Wild as hell
If Darius knew you called him a Jayce look alike, he'd steal your canon minion and refuse to gank for you. LMAO also in League Elise's Ult (Ultimate ability) is to turn into a giant spider. just how Jinx's Ult is "Super mega death rocket" which she used in Arcane to blow up the council. seeing it animated hits different for League players.
Now having seen it, I can see it's both for the game and perhaps a trailer for the spin-off series. Regardless a lot of my points in the video I still stand behind lol
Apparently this Bite marks 2025 cinematic chapter 1 is one of more than there are chapters in League of Legends so there will be cinematics for it. Necrit is already working on explaination video. Plus he will see a new comic soon and it seems to me that the Arcane Ambese Chosen of the Wolf book is still available in English.
It's good watch or react to this videos by Necrit. What Is The Black Rose? (Arcane Lore Explained) How League's New Skins Expand The Lore And League's Universe Explained For Arcane Fans
Red hear assasin woman is Katarina. Darius is still young in this cinematic Katarina and Elise have new skins and Mel in her visions fought with reanimated soldiers like Sion #Grey Legion Katarina has her new daggers from the Katarina comic where she had love at first sight with Garen which is a prequel to the Mageseeker RPG and a continuation of the Lux comic. Mel was in the same place where a pregnant young Ambessa fought in the Blood sweat and tears cinematic. Leblack and Vladimir are apparently talking about darkin who will survive Twilight of the Gods like Aatrox,... apparently Valeeva sister of Varus could be the New 5th darkin champion for League of Legends???
2:40 I don't think Vi knew AT ALL that Jinx intended to end her own life, the way Vi talked with Cait made it sound more like she felt she was pushed away (betrayed) by Jinx once again, she felt just like she felt in the end of Season 1 when she tried to save Jinx only to be tied up and have to watch her nuking the council and killing Caits mom...
To be honest I think people had such high hopes for season 2 anything that could have been created just wasn’t up to standard i personally loved season 2 and if people don’t like it that’s their option but I still think this is at a higher quality than most shows we see. Love your reaction btw ❤
I can agree with that. Personally I’ve seen second seasons/sequels to a lot of series and a lot of them are way worse then Arcane (ahem… Last of Us 2). With how high expectations were, they did way better then many others in that position have. Definitely don’t think it deserves that much hate.
So apparently this is only a trailer for the new season of league the game. They came out with a statement saying this trailer has no relation to an upcoming league show which I feel like is a lie but who knows
Before I watch the rest of this vid I thought I'd remind you that Vi does not know her sister is about to do what she is, she only knows her sister has escaped and said something that could mean anything.
I will admit that Darius looks like Jayce in this. It should be noted that if Darius and Jayce fought it would be like a grown man fighting a toddler. The only thing Jayce has is Hextech, while Darius is pure skill.
To answer some questions. “Jace looking guy,” is named Darius. He’s basically the head of Noxus’s military. The thing he’s fighting is named Trundle. He’s the king of the trolls who live in the Frelyord. Which is the wintry place of runterra. The two are basically dueling because Noxus is an expansion empire so there basically trying to take over everything. For reasons. The girl at the ball is named Katarina. She’s an assassin who is for Noxus but a different faction. And the woman she’s fighting is Elise, a woman that works for the black rose but became part spider after making a pact with a spider god. She can also transform into a giant spider. The last two at the end. Is Vladimir a blood sorcerer. And Lablac. The head of the black rose.
@@darktemplar8140 Arcane does take place some years before major events that unfold in Runeterra. Even Swain shouldn't be dealing with a demon just yet either. So, people are going to look different.
I do agree season 1 is the superior season. I think ARCANE could only have benefitted from a few more episodes if not an entire 3rd season. That said, season two is still an amazing experience. I don't think I'd change much of what we got, just add on some more story to flesh everything out. Also, agree with everyone saying Vi didn't understand Jinx's state of mind.
While i don't think the Vi & Cait spicy scene was a bit too long and maybe a bit random, i dont think its fair to say that Vi knew Jinx was going to self-delete. All Vi knew was that Jinx was leaving and not helping... If she knew Jinx was going to off herself, she would have probably chased after her the moment Cait came to unlock the jail cell. WE know Jinx was considering offing herself, but that doesn't mean Vi knows this. But i agree there were some issues about S2. I still really liked it, and found it easy to relatively easy to understand but i do think there were some pacing issues.
So you never questioned why Mel and Jace survived Jinx's rocket attack? cause that question leads to her powers and the Black Rose. Which is why it was pertinent to be in the story. It also sets the basis for the next story. I think alot of the appeal to season 1 was it was more grounded but in a way where not much is shown of the world of Runterra's characters powers and abilities as it was in season 2. This was inevitable as the world is filled with strange creatures, magic, gods and demons. I think that was a shock to alot of people and those who dont play the game or know the lore were a bit confused or put off.
THIS IS NOT A TRAILER FOR A SHOW! It does ''tease'' Noxus spin off. But Riot always (except for a 2023 season, that shit doesnt exist) give us cinematics for a new season in League of Legends and this is just it. ''Why you feel like an assassin, the red hair one'' Well because she is. She in that point of time was a part of Noxian Assassin Guild. Her name is Katarina. Put some respect on Darius' name. If anything Jayce is the clone of Darius. Big bro is most feared leader of Noxus, he is fighting Ice Troll's king - Trundle. The Spider lady is Elise The two persons in the ending are LeBlanc who's the leader of Black Rose - the shadow lady in Arcane was her. And the guy is Vladimir, hes a necromancer.
Yeah it’s a trailer for the first season of new content for the lol: the game… Main focus for the first stage will be starting to integrate the events of Arcane into the story canon, long overdue graphical updates for the Noxus champions roster (some of them are a bit ‘comic-book villain’ in their appearance) and Mel is going live as a playable character… Fortishe were commissioned to make the trailer on the back of the critical success of arcane so maybe this is also an animation test for future series going forward?
Officially, this is just a trailer for League of Legends, not the next show. They release something similar every year (though, they're not usually done in the same visual style as Arcane). That's part of why it probably feels so disjoined to you; it's primarily intended for people who are already familiar with these characters from playing the game. But, realistically, I feel like they wouldn't have featured Mel so heavily and had that little scene at the end with Leblanc if it wasn't also supposed to be a teaser for the first Arcane spinoff.
While this functions as a trailer for League, the stuff with Mel as well as LeBlanc and Vladimir can be seen as a sort of post-credit-scene for Arcane, practically being an announcement as to where the next show will take place (while also indirectly announcing that Mel will come to the game while LeBlanc and Vladimir will either get new skins or a visual rework similar to Viktor). It is still no indication that the show is going to release anytime soon, probably not for the next 3-5 years.
Riot has said they're working on more series, and even said they were deciding on whether to do demacia or noxus or ionia I think, not sure about Ionia but they 100% said they were considering Noxus or Demacia. Also season start cinematics NEVER include speech (except for the one that shall not be named) so i don't see why they'd go through this much effort if it wasn't at least a teaser of some sort.
10:37 she is Leblanc the shadowy figure that messed with Ambessa and Mel in Arcane you can see that she has the same eye markings on her eye she and Vladmir are the founders of Black Rose (i think there were someone else too but i'm not sure)
Arcane already looked amazing, but this is something else. I know this is mostly for the game, but it sure felt like a possible teaser for the next series too. I can't wait either way.
Red hear assasin woman is Katarina. I knew it. I knew Noxus would be next... wait, is that some 'confused arousal' form of arachnophobia? XD I think the fight in the valley was just showing off a pair of heroes from the game as they exemplify the Noxan ethic (looked like a typical Greek hero duel to me), probably intended to balance out the subterfuge and skullduggery in the city. I assume the female mage is the deceiver Mel thwarted at the end of Arcane... the same voice, I think.
Champions shown: Trundle The Troll King, Darius The Hand of Noxus, Katarina The Sinister Blade, Elise The Spider Queen, Vladimir The Crimson Reaper, LeBlanc The Deceiver
it's both. the voiced scene at the end between Leblanc and Vladimir is a teaser for the next series, also a reveal that she was the black rose character.
It's a trailer for the next big content drop for the game Ps you don't need to play the games to learn about the lore character / champions from the league universe map it has got the character Bio if your interested. Pss if you don't pick up in it the 2 at the end of the trailer are the leaders of the black rose Vladimir & Leblanc and their stories are really interesting
You cannot call Darius Axe Jayce unless you call the girl Assassin Vi, cause his resemblense to Jayce is like zero. Also season two was fine, I think it suffers more from fans interjecting what they wanted to have happen instead of what would make a good and satisfying story.
This is a cinematic for both the game and show. Some of the elements of this cinematic wont be for the show. A rioter confirmed this. Also i feel like youre way too harsh on s2. Its still good, flawed but good. But youre acting like its dogshit
I don't know how you can see Jayce, the face is totally different. I'd say the only common trait might be the build, but it would be like saying every slender woman character is a "Caitlyn". A bit reductive in my opinion 😎
The story is: Leblanc, the shapeshifter mage character who traps Mel from season 2 main leader and co-founder of Black Rose, Elise (A shapeshifting spider assassin woman and high rank subordinate within Black Rose) and Vladimir (An ancient blood-mage thinking he's Dracula and co-founder of Black Rose), is collecting new high-potential recruits for the Black Rose. These 3 events happening in the trailer are the testing grounds to study the subjects the Black Rose identifies as potential subordinate leaders within the organization. The three subjects shown are young versions of Katarina, Darius and Mel. We also know 3 other characters Ezreal (a young explorer from Piltover, archeologist and collector of extremely potent ancient technology), Samira (an experienced highly skilled fighter from Shurima, and personal friend of a military leader in Noxus) and Renata Glasc (A cunning leader, alchemist, weapon-dealer and entrepreneur from Zaun) have been invited to Noxus to be tested, but it's unconfirmed if they actually showed up. We know Renata have a connection to Samira's weapons through the gameplay, and Samira is a confirmed Noxian in the current game timeline so we can assume they became parts of Black Rose. Ezreal however is being quoted that he is being hated in Noxus, so I guess he never showed up or failed the test in some way. I think Renata Glasc will be the person in the new Arcane series that Singed was supposed to be before his retcon, the person who gave Noxus the chemical weapons to almost destroy parts of Ionia.
The redhead is Katarina, the spider is Elise, Jayce 2.0 is Darius, the beast he’s fighting is Trundle (maybe), and the woman at the end is Leblanc. She’s the shadowy shapeshifter who persuaded Mel to join the Black Rose in Season 2 of Arcane. - Not sure who the guy beside Leblanc is. Possibly an original character, or a character I’m not familiar with. Edit: Never mind, he’s Vladimir. Took me a second. Also, your comment about the 1v1 between Darius and Trundle looking like the Highlands of Scotland, just wanted to let you know that the region is called Freljord. It’s a different region in the universe of Arcane (and, by extension, League of Legends.)
imo you are a little too harsh in regards to season two. There is surely a point or two that can always be improved, for example i am feeling annoyed that they did do all the Ekko-Jinx Interaction from him preventing her sucicide to them teaming up with the other firelights behind the closed curtains - but vi for example... i do not think that she even thought about or realized that Jinx could have thoughts about ending herself. Too many champions and powers? It was all layed out in season one already. I don't really resonate to that point either - what is your intention behind that ? I also don't feel like arcane was made to promote the game entirely. It was made to grow the reach of the world and stories within league of legends - but i doub't the sole focus was to push their marketing for the game.
@MusicUniverseGermany Apparently there’s a deleted scene of Ekko telling Jinx about the Powder from the alternate universe and a montage of building the flying machine. They cut it for the sake of timing. Hopefully we’ll get in the S2 steelbook whenever it comes out.
To me the biggest difference between seasons 1 and 2 of Arcane is how in S1 the conflict and story were far more personal. It wasn't about the tensions between Piltover and the Undercity, it wasn't about the dangers of shimmer. It was about Jinx and VI, Vi and Caitlyn, Jayce and Victor, etc. How those characters and relationships between them changed. The finale of S1 was a long conversation with guns between Jinx, Vi, Silco, and Cait. Season 2 went for more of a "fate of the world" story, and so the character development took a backseat in favor of expanding the setting. Some might be into it, others not so much.
I can understand your gripes on s2 most of the problems you have i do to, but i wouldn't judge the whole new show by this one music video. this is really just to introduce the new characters and the new setting. Not really give too much story but to draw you in.
Short explanation Axe guy: Darius, he is one of Noxus 3 rulers, he represent "Might" and is the military leader Blue guy: Trundle king of trolls from another region located in the north of Noxus Noxus is about expanding and conquest, Darius and the Noxian army fight the trolls for tha territory, they probably decide to go 1x1, Darius defeated Trundle, so Noxus took the land. Red Hair: Katarina, noble woman from Noxus, also a elite assassin Spider Gir: Elise, woman spy cursed to become giant spider, she can take "human" form if she wants. The scenes dont happen in the same place, Mel is on the south region of Noxus, Darius in on the North Region, Katarina is on the Capital. also is not sure if they happen in the same time, is possible the Darius happened in the past Noxus is a very open mind and welcoming nation, with basically no descrimination, but they are a meritocracy based on strength, skill and intellect, in short everyone can succeed if they are the best
Riot drops these cinematics every single ‘season’ when they start anew. It’s simply promo to get existing players excited about the game to come. In this one, we got the usual fare of some of our favorite in-game champions fighting it out, and it confirms that Mel is coming to the game soon (they added Ambessa a month or so ago)
Season 1 of this year for League of Legends. Darius, one of the 3 leaders of Noxus, Leader of the Trifarian Legion. Katarina is the red-haired assassin. Elise is a mage or possibly not, it's not 100% clear but she is cursed or blessed by a spider demon. Trundle, the king of the Ice Trolls and an Iceborn. LeBlanc is the golden-eyed pale woman with the black fingertips, the head of the Black Rose. Vladimir is the white-haired man talking to LeBlanc. He is also a mage that practices a craft called hemomancy. This is not a trailer for Riot and Fortiche's next offering, but it is definitely a breadcrumb that may lead us to the next one.
5:15 To be fair, Jayce was made, in a way, to be Piltover's analog of Garen(Demacia) and Darius (Noxus). Wich is: big guy with a big weapon themed after a region. Also, as unimpressive figt of those two might be for someone who doesn't know Leauge, those a "political negotiations". Darius is one of the 3 Rules of Noxus qnd Trundle is King of trolls
I think, regardless of whether you know the characters from league or not, it's easy to appreciate at least the cinematography and animation of the fight. Seen a few reactions on YT of people who had no idea about those characters and still loved that fight, so yeah it's very subjective, as always 😉
@@WeeLassReacts Yeeehh, that happens There's not much to digest tho, this just show's how Noxus is expanding in other nations. The characters are just soldiers/assasins. The two at the end are the black rose You should react to necrit's video on the universe summarized, the guy is like the loremaster of league
7:55 - I think that the reliefs on that ceremonial arch/gate describe the fight between the troll and the axe-man, and Mel is basically reading the victories of Noxus as she passes through.
going around watching reaction videos rn just wanted to say I'm very glad to find someone else who has gripes with the way season 2 went, you put all my thoughts into words 😭 here's to the noxus show!
the last "ink" image should be a darkin Weapon...would say [Spoiler] / its dagger -> overall doesnt matter which darkin weapon it is, the important part is, that the black rose seems to use darkin / corrupted ascended magic to repel Sahn-Uzal (for spoiler reasons the old name - dont look it up)-> quite the bold move :D i cant understand why someone would say it has nothing / nearly nothing to do with arcane.... timeline wise the trailer fits quite good into the narrative. Darius: still young -> was positioned in the north to expand into the north / repel invasions from the north mel: arrives in noxus (same first shot/beach as in blood sweat and tears with ambessa) if im not wrong one problem arrises with the appearence of the raven at the end of arcane, the trifarix emblem on >young< darius in this trailer and singed / Dr. Revek not having a "relation" with noxus directly overall nice epiloge for arcane and nice start into ""season 1" not my favorite season cinematic...actually one of the worst for what it originally stands, but for an epilog and an intro for what they want to do, it was rly nice
Honestly, this is one of the few videos from you that was just hard to watch. It seemed less like a reaction video of the teaser, and more like half a complaint video about how bad Season 2 is. It would probably have helped if I weren't seeing those same complaints everywhere else, but yeah, it just got hard to watch because of that. Though to note, I never played League or looked at League Lore until after I watched Arcane. I still understood what was going on. I do understand that others didn't its just hard for me to comprehend how others aren't understanding the story vs how I am understanding the story. (Though to clarify, by understand I mean process it as a reasonable set of events with proper linearity and explanations for those events).
If its the same complaints as everywhere else hopefully they'll take the feedback on board. I could understand the main story just fine, but there was a lot that wasn't explained properly such as Maddie being a noxus spy from the beginning. It felt more like s2 was focused on music videos and action than characters and clean cut plot points like s1. But that's just my thoughts, I'll still give the new show a chance but if its like s2 then I'll just hold my hands up and say it's just not for me.
@WeeLassReacts I think it’s the Maddie thing is supposed to be up in the air for audience interpretation. Was she a spy the whole time, or did Caitlyn’s rejection push her to turn? It’s for us to decide. Furthermore, even if she was a spy the whole time, why do you need it to be explained? She’s a traitor. That’s all we need to know. And I don’t think you’re being fair about the “music videos.” I love scenes that tell stories through visuals instead of dialogue, and I think those scenes excel at that in an engaging, creative and beautiful way. Anyway, I’m not trying to hate. I love your videos and it makes me sad to see you suddenly become so sour on Arcane. I understand that it’s your opinion, but I feel like you’re being a bit too critical. But if it’s really just not for you, then oh well. Me personally, as a non league player, I enjoyed every second and I fully intend to enjoy every second of whatever comes next.
1:40 because season one was a simple slice of life sci-fi "family" story with a very narrow scope. It added a lot and changed a lot. The lore was extremely simplified and dumbed down and more than half of the "champions" were left out. Then they had put the story into the wider world's context. Season two got political and focused on Ambessa's plot to tie the stories together. She's also got a novel of her released recently. It is literally in the name... Arcane. Some kids try to steal from a scientist and they get their hands on a wonder weapon which leads to multiple tragedies and bigger powers now want that wonder weapon. Also I can't help myself but point it out that the series made no profit off of viewers. It was all started with the money of game skin addicts and aimed to bring more players to it AND to Teamfight Tactics, which is more casual and apparently the biggest strategy game? So yeah - the next time you want to complain about the fan service to the League of Legends community, remember that they're the ones who financed this series we enjoyed. No, really... the show was on Netflix - a cheap subscription for low quality slop. Buying a skin is more beneficial to them than pay for a Netflix subscription. You'd need millions of subscriptions to cover the budget of the series IFF they were to somehow get all the money Netflix makes off of Arcane viewers. Now take away the fact that there's many more shows incorporated into that subscription. This show might have as well come with a deficit for Riot Games. But they delivered none the less and I am happy that they respected the people who pay them many many times more than an Arcane viewer. They got 250$ skins and people actually buy those FFS.
Character breakdown. Jayce Guy = Darius - A Noxian Commander Big Guy = Trundle - The Troll King Red Head = Katarina - Noxian Assassin Spider Lady = Elise - Member of Black Rose (yes she turned into the Spider) Lady at the end = LeBlanc - Leader of the Black Rose Astarion = Vladimir - Member of the Black Rose I feel this cinematic confirms Mel will be a champion soon and serves as a teaser for next Fortiche story for League
Axe Jayce = Darius His opponent = Trundle the Troll King Red-haired Assassin = Katarina Scary spider-lady = Elise Two people at the end = LeBlanc and Vladimir
Knowing that NOXUS values strength in any form shows how twisted their people can be. A lot of assassinations are happening, and you might not know you're already dancing in someone else's palm. It can literally mind-fuck any person's way of thinking if they are not careful.
About the 3 crime lords . The 2 that are missing show up in the music video featuring caitlyn in the underground , this is to show the viewer that caitlyn is progressing , she is burning up most shimmer in the undergound and she took down the rest of the crime lords
I think it will be more as season 2 in sense that season 1 was was more focused on childhood of characters especially jinx and vi. This will be more flighty, perhaps mysterious, but i believe as this and other shows come out it will kinda make more sense why they did season 2 the way they did. If done right i think it will sort of fill some context to some of those "rushed" plots in S2.
I'm telling you guys. The whole point of Seasons 1 and 2 of Arcane was to show that magic (Arcane) in the world of Runeterra is a sentient force all of it's own. It can manipulate with purpose and design as easily as it can be manipulated by those who know the language it speaks. (Those runes) I believe this is the message Riot was trying to convey and they used the story of Piltover (Caitlyn, Jayce, & Viktor) and Zhaun (Jinx& Vi) to deliver that message. The next story will take place in Noxus and we will be seeing more of the manipulations of the Arcane via the Black Rose.
The guy with the Axe is a younger Darius, one of the three leaders of Noxus, he represents Might, Swain represents Vision and the faceless represents Guile. All three form the Trifarix, rulers of Noxus. He is fighting Trundle, leader of the Trolls.
This is both a trailer for the game’s first season this year and a continuation of the lore. The year is broken into 3 seasons and the first is Noxis inspire. To break it down: it has Mel arrive in Noxis, the red haired assassin Katarina infiltrating a Black Rose masquerade only to face down the spider lady Elise (yes she is the spider), and the field commander of the Noxis army, Darius, going one on one with the troll king Trundle of the freljord with his club of magical ice. At the end is Leblanc and Valdimir, the rulers of the black rose and Leblanc is the mage Mel meets (look at the makeup).
I dont get ur full on hatred towards(well not hatred just opinion on it) season 2, its really amazing, and yeah, i see the issue, but its not like its that big, i dont get it
Tbh Arcane s2 functioned more as a preparation and transition for the beginning of the Noxus arc, than an actual good conclusion for season 1. The Piltor/Zaun plot was definitely rushed, but it wasn't bad considering how much lore they have to cover, if they are going through with making a series out of EVERYTHING. League of Legends is kinda like a light-weight PG13 Warhammer 40K/Age of Sigmar universe, with a considerable amount of lore. People might be disappointed now, but I think it will make more sense when the Noxus series drops for why it had to be rushed and how little importance the Piltover storyline has in the grand scheme of things.
I believe it is a trailer, and also one thing I like in this trailer cinematic, is that a very much has a more serious tone than Arcane had. And I wonder if part of that reason. (I could be wrong.) is because of the age of the character slightly. Because I believe Mel is in her mid 30s. And I’m assuming that the other characters at least the other female characters are also in their 30s. It looks like these characters are ranging between 30 to 40 max. If that is the case, then I love that they’re doing this new season with slightly older character characters. Because a lot of the main characters (not all of them) in arcane were in their early to mid 20s. I’m really hoping that the pacing is going to be better than season two was. Because it’s setting up this new story, I feel like it’s going to be or at least least I’m hoping.❤ The animation just keeps getting better and I don’t know how that’s possible. It looks amazing. I’m very excited!❤🔥
Calling Trundle an orc, I can hear his in game voice line in my head "Not troll chief, Troll King!" King!" Love trundle. But of course the Darius scrapes by with a win. Typical Darius.
The other two mob bosses weren't important to the plot. They showed up in the lil meeting with lefty because she was trying to unite the under threw the people that ran it. Once she realized that wasn't gonna work she went to the people. Edit: also she gets her arm back
Darius and Jayce could not be further from each other lol. Only similarity is they are men with big weapons. This Isa trailer for the game that also serves as a sneak peak at what the noxus show will look like.
You know what, I actually love how Leblanc looks in this. In the game they originally looked super strippery, now she actually looks like the leader of the Black Rose. I'm manifesting they carry it over into League so I can see her design and not think "Oh shit it's the stripper magician"
To be fair, I think with the Caitvi thing, I imagine for some people in real life, what Vi did was more semblance of control over something in her life after she lost pretty much everything. For her, there, I think it is more trauma response to try to ensure something good happened in her life, especially with the possibility of death in the next coming days. However, it is a little out of place for sure.
10:39 The only thing I'll say about her is that she is the same Black Rose mage from season two of Arcane- the one that called Mel "sister". You can actually see she has the same golden marks beneath her eyes. This is what she looks like without all the shadows around her.
Elijah will react to this when she can before anyone asks, she's sick with a sinus infection just now so please don't bug her.
Send here our best wishes
@@Kroiznacheryeah ❤
Aw, well I hope she feels better soon!
Best wishes to her, but again Idk if it would be good, bc she's just going to be lost like you

I wish this had more likes. Backstory is so important.
I thought katarina was also a member of the black rose, along with talon
@@GeneralPet nope, both are more aligned with Swain, more so Kat considering Talon only follows his master Marcus's orders
One small anecdote/correction:
Swain is technically NOT Emperor, as he instead dismantled the monarchy after overthrowing Boram Darkwill and instituted the Trifarix, a militaristic meritocratic system in its place.
I thought i lost you!" Note that Vi has never dealt with jinx's suicidal ideation before
up
Exactly!
But either way having sex in a cell during that time was just inappropriate and out of place
Yeah, Vi pretty clearly thought it was more of a betrayal and didn't see it as Jinx being suicidal
@@LeonFray-hw8ko Nah it's fine
To be clear, this is NOT a trailer for the next show, it's about the new league of legends season. Arcane literally just ended the next show isn't coming anytime soon
I mean, i would buy that, except instead of just "2025 cinematic" the title is "seaon 1 2025 cinematic" ... I know its odd but "season 1" it is definitely NOT
@luistigerfox Yes? It's the first season of 2025?
@@luistigerfox Riot is coming out with "Seasons" this gaming year, so there will be several "Seasons" of League of Legends as the year goes by. This season is Noxus, the next Season is unknown.
Not the Leblanc and Vladimir part tho
@USful that is... strange, I'm used to it having previously been a single season per year that would culminate in worlds..
As a clarification: every new year Riot release a Cinematic Music Video with what's to expect "next" in the upcoming year (highly recommend "The Call" and "Awake")
This time they shifted from a yearly Season schedule to a three months Season, so this is the trailer not for LoL S15 nor LoL Season 2025 (as before) but LoL NEW S1, with elements from both Arcane and the ingame lore (the Masquerade is a skin-line with other Champs).
Seeing Leblanc and Vladimir in the fortiche artstyle is just mind-blowing. And Mel looks amazing as ever. This Noxus spin-off needs to happen soon!
I haven't played league in ages long before arcane first came out, but it was so great to see so many characters I knew back then show up in arcane style. Like Trundle. I used to love playing Trundle. I never expected to see him in an arcane video, especially one about Noxus.
@@bluetaffy2785 they currently have noxus fighting the trolls in the north in lore. and even tho darious wins here the trolls are still independent.
Every video i watch, your comment is on....who are you???
I do respect what your opinion is, even though I disagree your viewpoint.
up
There are some things in season 2 that I found were a bit out of place, like the whole Black Rose plotline for instance, it didn't match with any other storyline it was like a separate thing.
I couldn’t agree more with you here.
I thought season 2 was superior to season 1
ikr. so in conclusion, she did not understand the storyline hence it's "inferior" compared to season 1. that's such a nonsense take 😂
season 2 is way better than S1 albeit both are amazing.
@@Mae11473 I kinda dont get the criticism to leave how the Black Rose stuff, It sets up Ambessa and her motivations, Pacing fixed or not I don't think its something that could have been left out.
Vi had zero clue what Jinx was gonna do. Breaking the cycle means absolutely nothing to her, and Jinx also pushed her to Caitlyn. So let's not.
I think that Vi was so caught up in the moment that she wasn't really trying to decifer her sister's mind state after talking to her for at most a week or two after being separated for years.
up
Saying you prefer S1 over S2 because it felt rushed is completely reasonable.
LMAO
also in League Elise's Ult (Ultimate ability) is to turn into a giant spider. just how Jinx's Ult is "Super mega death rocket" which she used in Arcane to blow up the council. seeing it animated hits different for League players.

Red hear assasin woman is Katarina.
Darius is still young in this cinematic Katarina and Elise have new skins and Mel in her visions fought with reanimated soldiers like Sion #Grey Legion
Katarina has her new daggers from the Katarina comic where she had love at first sight with Garen which is a prequel to the Mageseeker RPG and a continuation of the Lux comic.
@ yeah totally!
LeBlanc, not Lablac, for anyone who wants to look up the character.
In this video, Darius looks young. I'm assuming he's not yet part of the leadership of Noxus. He's still a warrior in the front lines.
@@darktemplar8140 Arcane does take place some years before major events that unfold in Runeterra. Even Swain shouldn't be dealing with a demon just yet either. So, people are going to look different.

@@CimmerianAssassinexcept I think he already has, one of swains crows was in the finale of arcane unless that was just Raum
The Spider lady is Elise
The two persons in the ending are LeBlanc who's the leader of Black Rose - the shadow lady in Arcane was her. And the guy is Vladimir, hes a necromancer.
Yeah it’s a trailer for the first season of new content for the lol: the game…
Main focus for the first stage will be starting to integrate the events of Arcane into the story canon, long overdue graphical updates for the Noxus champions roster (some of them are a bit ‘comic-book villain’ in their appearance) and Mel is going live as a playable character…
Fortishe were commissioned to make the trailer on the back of the critical success of arcane so maybe this is also an animation test for future series going forward?
“Men fighting on screen bad, women fighting on screen good” lmao. I’m giving you shit but it was a good reaction.
I think because the women had more appealing character designs to me lol 🤣
They're just flexing at this point. 💜
We're not; it's for the game.
@@jonsturgill6508 Riot has outwardly said that they're working on more shows, so never say never

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feel the CaitVi sex scene was a bs after the Jinx scene...
Champions shown: Trundle The Troll King, Darius The Hand of Noxus, Katarina The Sinister Blade, Elise The Spider Queen, Vladimir The Crimson Reaper, LeBlanc The Deceiver
this was a trailer for the game.
it's both. the voiced scene at the end between Leblanc and Vladimir is a teaser for the next series, also a reveal that she was the black rose character.
DO NOT disrepsect Darius the HAND OF NOXUS by calling him Axe Jayce. Darius is like Ambessa if Ambessa was 10x times the warrior.
You were so jumpy about the spiders I’m going to start calling you Ron Weasley!!!
Well she is redhead soooóo 😂
Darius is not just Jayce, he is Jayce if Jayce have balls made of Iron and join miliatary.
It's a trailer for the next big content drop for the game
Ps you don't need to play the games to learn about the lore character / champions from the league universe map it has got the character Bio if your interested.
Pss if you don't pick up in it the 2 at the end of the trailer are the leaders of the black rose Vladimir & Leblanc and their stories are really interesting
"Ok Astarion, calm down!"
Wow, I am so glad I'm not the only one who had that same thought when I saw Vladimir, I thought I might be crazy. 😂
You cannot call Darius Axe Jayce unless you call the girl Assassin Vi, cause his resemblense to Jayce is like zero. Also season two was fine, I think it suffers more from fans interjecting what they wanted to have happen instead of what would make a good and satisfying story.
Not a trailer for the show. If you watch the official trailer, it starts with a T for Teen Rating, so this is LoL, not Arcane.
This is a cinematic for both the game and show. Some of the elements of this cinematic wont be for the show. A rioter confirmed this. Also i feel like youre way too harsh on s2. Its still good, flawed but good. But youre acting like its dogshit
In the montage segment at the start of ep 3 you see Caitlyn and her squad take out the other two Chem Barons
This is a trailer for the new lol season which is Noxus themed, and probably a little teaser for new arcane spinoff.
Actually incredible to see Katarina and Elise as reasons for people to get invested.
“Right over the heads of most people” is just straight up not true, but that’s an opinion you’re allowed to have…
The redhead is Katarina, the spider is Elise, Jayce 2.0 is Darius, the beast he’s fighting is Trundle (maybe), and the woman at the end is Leblanc.
Elise is the spider lady. She turns into that spider.
So you wanna watch show because of mel, but if mel wasn't involved would you still watch it?
imo you are a little too harsh in regards to season two.
@MusicUniverseGermany
Apparently there’s a deleted scene of Ekko telling Jinx about the Powder from the alternate universe and a montage of building the flying machine.
Short explanation
Axe guy: Darius, he is one of Noxus 3 rulers, he represent "Might" and is the military leader
Blue guy: Trundle king of trolls from another region located in the north of Noxus
Noxus is about expanding and conquest, Darius and the Noxian army fight the trolls for tha territory, they probably decide to go 1x1, Darius defeated Trundle, so Noxus took the land.
Red Hair: Katarina, noble woman from Noxus, also a elite assassin
Spider Gir: Elise, woman spy cursed to become giant spider, she can take "human" form if she wants.
The scenes dont happen in the same place, Mel is on the south region of Noxus, Darius in on the North Region, Katarina is on the Capital. also is not sure if they happen in the same time, is possible the Darius happened in the past
Noxus is a very open mind and welcoming nation, with basically no descrimination, but they are a meritocracy based on strength, skill and intellect, in short everyone can succeed if they are the best
Idk about this one chief, unless you know about the lore you are going to be quite lost
I was lol
@@WeeLassReacts Yeeehh, that happens
There's not much to digest tho, this just show's how Noxus is expanding in other nations. The characters are just soldiers/assasins.
The two at the end are the black rose
You should react to necrit's video on the universe summarized, the guy is like the loremaster of league
7:55 - I think that the reliefs on that ceremonial arch/gate describe the fight between the troll and the axe-man, and Mel is basically reading the victories of Noxus as she passes through.

Fun fact: The artist who sang Bite Marks represented Austria in Eurovision 2023.
the last "ink" image should be a darkin Weapon...would say [Spoiler] / its dagger
-> overall doesnt matter which darkin weapon it is, the important part is, that the black rose seems to use darkin / corrupted ascended magic to repel Sahn-Uzal (for spoiler reasons the old name - dont look it up)-> quite the bold move :D
i cant understand why someone would say it has nothing / nearly nothing to do with arcane....
timeline wise the trailer fits quite good into the narrative.
Darius: still young -> was positioned in the north to expand into the north / repel invasions from the north
mel: arrives in noxus (same first shot/beach as in blood sweat and tears with ambessa)
if im not wrong one problem arrises with the appearence of the raven at the end of arcane, the trifarix emblem on >young< darius in this trailer and singed / Dr. Revek not having a "relation" with noxus directly
overall nice epiloge for arcane and nice start into ""season 1"
not my favorite season cinematic...actually one of the worst for what it originally stands, but for an epilog and an intro for what they want to do, it was rly nice
@WeeLassReacts
I think it’s the Maddie thing is supposed to be up in the air for audience interpretation.
The Art has returned
is this not a cinematic for league itself since mel is now a champ rather than a trailer for the next show
1:40 because season one was a simple slice of life sci-fi "family" story with a very narrow scope.
Something I think a lot of people have missed so far is the line in the description saying that season 1 goes live tomorrow (9 January 2025).
It is a trailer for the new ranked season of the game which goes live on the 9th
They also missed the game rating "T for Teen". 🤦♂️
Apparently this Bite marks 2025 cinematic chapter 1 is one of more than there are chapters in League of Legends so there will be cinematics for it.

Plus he will see a new comic soon and it seems to me that the Arcane Ambese Chosen of the Wolf book is still available in English.
Character breakdown.
Jayce Guy = Darius - A Noxian Commander
Big Guy = Trundle - The Troll King
Red Head = Katarina - Noxian Assassin
Spider Lady = Elise - Member of Black Rose (yes she turned into the Spider)
Lady at the end = LeBlanc - Leader of the Black Rose
Astarion = Vladimir - Member of the Black Rose
I feel this cinematic confirms Mel will be a champion soon and serves as a teaser for next Fortiche story for League
Axe Jayce = Darius
His opponent = Trundle the Troll King
Red-haired Assassin = Katarina
Scary spider-lady = Elise
Two people at the end = LeBlanc and Vladimir
Knowing that NOXUS values strength in any form shows how twisted their people can be. A lot of assassinations are happening, and you might not know you're already dancing in someone else's palm. It can literally mind-fuck any person's way of thinking if they are not careful.
So the evil lady at the end is supposedly the evil shadow lady from Arcane S2 who Mel sent back from whence she came.
That is Leblanc and Vladamir at the end.

Darius fist fighting an ice troll is the coolest shit I've seen in the last 3 months or so, the hand of Noxis is built diferent
7:07 This ignorance is unimaginable
Because it’s setting up this new story, I feel like it’s going to be or at least least I’m hoping.❤
The animation just keeps getting better and I don’t know how that’s possible.

The only thing I'll say about her is that she is the same Black Rose mage from season two of Arcane- the one that called Mel "sister". You can actually see she has the same golden marks beneath her eyes. This is what she looks like without all the shadows around her.
I loved how the fight between Katarina and Elise was on the dance floor...and their movements were also very dance-like as well....chef's kiss 😘😘😘😘
The cat goes 9:24 😂
That’s commander Darius . He’s noxus’s most feared and revered battle hardened warrior . A legend among the ranks
I really wasn't prepared for this
This is not a new LOL Arcane season it's for LOL mmo coming out and it comes out in season form
Katarina the dual dagger lady is one of the more popular league champions cos shes an assassin can teleport and is super hot lol.
