After seeing it on sale so regularly, I’ve considered picking it up over recent months, but all the other reviews are from well over a year ago long before the most recent update. Not only is this a great review, but it’s much needed and appreciated for those of us looking to purchase Thief Simulator in 2020.
I thought the same, especially with how dirt cheap some of its sales have been. But I watched some gameplay videos from some other TH-camrs and it looked like a lot of fun. So, I waited for another sale and enjoyed it.
I actually played it all the way through on switch now,was also surprised how good of a price to content it had,especially with the constant 90% sales whuch made it look weird.It also has been kept up-to-date
@LKCV They look about the same. There's also no reason why it wouldn't, it looks like a PS2 game, PC or Switch, doesn't matter. It's an extremely low budget game that sort of struck that "dumb simulator game" chord and is actually fun. Also, you underestimate the Switch.
Or it's the MOST appropriate game for you to play. My best friend works in a similar capacity, for Nordstrom, overseeing an entire region. He got promoted rapidly fast, because he's so good at preventing theft. Why? Because he used to be a criminal. He never got caught, and one day went straight. Used all his "life skills" for good.
You cycle to the binoculars with the R button or clicking the right analog stick to cycle the items. And once the binoculars are equipped you hold L to zoom in.
If a cop gets too close they taze you and reload a checkpoint but you can run from them on foot or in your car if they’re not close enough to taze. I’ve escaped from a car chase before. Also the day/night cycle is basically one second = one minute in-game. So one minute of playing is an hour for the in-game clock.
I have a question, i know that there is 3 streets in the whole game, but idk if that implies for the switch, and if it doesnt do you know when it will?? I buyed the switch version just recently, day or two ago :0

I got it and there was a glitch at the beginning where there was an objective but the thing I was suppose to get was missing which meant I couldn’t even play the game.
This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing purchases ive made in the eshop. It looks like a cool fun game but it seems to be broken. The game loads up fine but will not allow me to answer the phone or pick up the crowbar to start the game. I know my buttons are functional, this game is broken, I was bamboozled.
Remember when I first got this on switch for $0.78 An they did a horrible job at porting it too the point of not being able to beat the tutorial lol hopefully it's better now
I cut the game for $3 and I don't really think it was worth it. It was a great idea, an open world where you can go in Rob and steal crap, but it's just so robotic and boring. It's like the same game from the original release with a few better models and graphics.
I'd say the game is okay, but the game is definitely out of whack. i'd be sitting on Richie R. St sitting in my van passing the time doing nothing when the police are called for no reason. Another reason is the people are walking so slowly on the sidewalk. Like don't they have anything better to do than to be up at 2 a.m??
Dammit! I just bought this game! What a rip off! It dosen't even work! Keeps taking me back to the switch home screen. I contacted Nintendo if I can get a refund because game wouldn't work and they refuse and said I waited to long. Wtf what does that even mean? Don't think they gonna update and fix the issue. I even deleted it and re install 5 times and gave up and still same issues. Wasted 21.19 for nothing.
Yesterday I got the game I was getting legend and Zelda and my. Brother got a game to so I went on the store for Nintendo switch and I found the 90% off sale so my mom is like if you want you can have it it’s only two dollars

This is the kind of cheap game that is ACTUALLY FUN to play. It’s suspenseful, it’s satisfying, it’s everything
Colour me surprised. Seeing it on constant sale and the steam shovelware look of the screenshots made me think it was shovelware of the worst kind.

Well the devs did make car mechanic sim so it makes sense that you have to take apart cars

I have 80 hours on this game. One of the best games in my opinion. I also got it for 2 dollars so yeah.

you can play it on both but if you are at home i would suggest playing dock mode if its available
