      Its already totally lost, turns out the US didnt need a strong military or nukes to defend itself. It needed term limits, and it needed to enforce monopoly better. If any country wants to take over America you can buy the non government corporations on the inside and influence outward. This video is useless.

      That statement " united we stand, divided we fall " makes a lot of sense, hence the reason many people in the US are trying to destroy us from the inside.
      Sad many people are falling for the stuff thats being pushed.

    • @americanpatriot7247
      @americanpatriot7247 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @richardrivers6909 I flew for American Airlines at that time. American and United Airlines were the U.S. Airliners involved.
      The Canadians took in several airliners that were grounded in Canada by the FAA after the attacks. The Canadians took care of the passengers & crews, inviting so many into their homes, taking some to hotels which also opened their doors to them. (There may have been other countries that did the same for the U.S. planes, however, I only heard about what the Canadians did for us.)
      There were joint patrols over the U.S. & our coastal waters with fighter jets from those countries in conjunction with ours looking for possible further enemy attacks. We were part of the United Nations. We were being supported during a time of terrorist attack. I am not sure how many jets were involved or for how long but I think it was for a few days.
      It happened on a Tuesday and the commercial flights were resumed again on the following Saturday. There were flight crew members that quit; many that were not able to make themselves physically get on any of the planes to resume their jobs for months & none were fired. I resumed flying on that Saturday (to get back in the saddle so to speak) but was on high alert and jumpy for about a year while on the job. It was terribly sad and exhausting. What a time in history.

      YW. As a Brit, I was proud to stand besides our cousins across the pond.
      The problem with being an impenetrable techno-fortress with weaker and less well equipped enemies... is that warfare becomes asymmetric. But, asymmetric warfare is, itself, symmetric! Whilst the US certainly has the advantage in the military asymmetry - it still has nuts that hang low and invite reciprocal asymmetry.
      So, there's a problem with analysing threat situations positively, in terms of a 'stand-up' fight. Such thinking relies on the fight being conventional.
      On 9/11, America was kicked in the nuts. But the next attack on Americas nut-sack could be considerably less recoverable. Such as cargo-delivered nukes delivered into major container ports. The US container ports are IMMENSE... VITAL... and almost impossible to properly protect. They also constitute a covert delivery mechanism handling HUGE global volume, and that provides credible deniability for the attacker.
      If you're targeting the US nut-sack... container ports are exposed to coordinated attacks like no other.
      I think that naively comparing military capabilities may well be utterly irrelevant and could lead to a false sense of security.

Most of us are not only willing to fight but we still take our oath of service seriously. I live offgrid in the 6th largest county in the country, 75% of the people I know out there have at least 1 veteran in the home and 2 right off the top of my head are Vietnam snipers. Any invader would spill blood for every inch they took. I think the veterans and citizens would be a more aggressive threat than the military. The American government and the socialists here just don't get it because the Democrats are always talking about wanting to take our guns away.. they shouldn't worry about us because we're just like backed up military really.. if people don't know much about the United States one of the biggest mistakes they ever make would be to invade the southeastern United States from Virginia all the way down to Florida..

    If memory serves, the Japanese considered an invasion of the US lower 48 states. One of the major deterrents to was the guarantee of having to fight a protracted guerrilla war in Oregon and Washington State, against experienced woodsmen who often were crack shots. They realized that they simply didn’t have the manpower…

I grew up around hunters, my dad could drop a deer in one shot, sleeve it and quarter it where it fell. The vietnam vets didn't play around either.

      That’s great. And it’s interesting, I’m from NYC born and raised, and I now live in Georgia.
      I will tell you for a fact that both places would be near impenetrable, here’s why:
      In NYC between street gangs, and all types of organized crime, and the police force alone, the unarmed citizens of the city wouldnt need to act. In a time of invasion, the criminals would need to defend their turf the same way the police would need to defend its citizens. NYC has so many housing projects that are laid out in a way where you have 5-6 story buildings in 10-12 building clusters, these are usually high crime areas which means street gangs tend to occupy them. These criminals have MORE THAN a substantial amount of firearms at all times. These housing projects would end up being like giant maze like fortresses. And let’s not take away from the VERY alive russian and Italian mobs. Who no matter what home land they are from would very much protect their empire.
      Couple that with a very military like police force and the national guard and NYC is as good as it can be from invasion.
      Then you have a state like Georgia which I’m sure is not very different than your own in terms of gun rights and laws. I personally know plenty of people here with small arsenals in their home legally. They start teaching their children proper use and respect of weapons as small as 7-8 and even younger probably. So in these types of states with the crime and the police, you have a civilian militia at the ready. It would be a situation where I don’t know if the army being there would be a help
      Or not aside of medical aid because they would naturally restrict the civilians actions lol.

Like you said supply lines are key to sustainability. Our interstate highways are designed in a way to withstand an invasion as well. • @Spytel1
      @Spytel1 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@gerryconstant4914 It's a hard comparison, the Autobahn is significantly smaller, but they both have similar standards. Most of the Interstate system is 11 inches of concrete (roughly 28" cm). It gets more difficult because the climate and geography of the Interstate system is significantly more variable, meaning that using one standard would actually be detrimental regionally. The Midwest for example maintains their Interstate system by building cheap and replacing frequently because the Frost and Salt will destroy anything so quickly and brutally that it's more practical and cost effective to use your last road as new aggregate.

      That’s funny my dad works in Alaska for the summer before it freezes up. And I can say that it’s true prices for almost everything in any place of Alaska is raised because it’s all taken by boat or plane ALL of it. My dad does construction/concrete, and it’s mostly for air force/army bases so they are well equipped and trained. I’ve seen it myself. Alaska itself would be far to treacherous, the mountains, rivers are unpassable, very few if any roads/highways, that would more then likely be taken out to delay enemy forces. The people in Alaska are mostly conservative they go there for the isolation etc, that being said they are a hardened population it’s not easy living there with the terrain, crime rate(cause if the isolation), winter and the 24/7 nights and extreme cold, and so. Also most would be willing to defend their frontier with there lives,
      at least most. They fly jets around there all day my dad did work on a air force base and told me about it. It’s a whole different world there, population density may be low, etc, but there’s a reason for that.

The part of the country I come from this is just common knowledge and a part of your upbringing. A good point about the citizens, even though I’m technically counted as a civilian now, I was an Infantryman only a couple years ago. I have a basic setup, my DD MK18, USP, and some odds and ends, but a lot of people discount the force multiplier of many veterans being able to lead, train, and instruct the general population in firearms usage, marksmanship, small unit tactics, and basic soldiering skills. The standing military really is just the beginning of it all.
    Greetings from across the pond sir, I have a massive amount of respect for your country and it’s fighters, you Royal Marines are tough as nails. I always say just because you don't want to exercise that particular Right, you should at least know how to disarm a weapon and make it safe. That is something I wouldn't mind having tax dollars spent on. It would be great to even incentivise it like getting better loan rates, pell grants, general grants if you decided to take that course.

      Even Bloods and Crips would fight alongside each other, while your redneck cousin comes by in a dodge ram with a home made shotgun, blasting the head off of an enemy. A man in a tank he legally bought comes by and squishes a few enemy vehicles, before going a bit back due to the fact that no tank is immortal, and he has common sense. In a news helicopter, the weather man is shooting down with his own gun. Along comes the Lousiana and MIssissippi National Guard, obliterating the geniuses who decided to invade America through one of our most vital rivers. Somehow with pure luck of not being spotted, a battleship makes it to Memphis. What is that on the bridge? The MPD, the SWAT team, and the Tennessee national guard. They've got armored cars, tanks, and trucks, just rigs of every size. The point is you can't invade the US easily. The MIssissippi river has some cities full of gun owners along it's path. The coasts of Los Angeles or New York will be armed with the local gun owners and the military aid from the nearby counties. The coasts of Texas will literally need one Texan. The coasts of Florida and Georgia will have.. well.. yes. People literally own war weapons in the US. If you are secretly Putin trying to learn our secrets, it is no secret that any of this is true.
