Damn you passed up on BCNR Ants From Up There. I managed to get one locally in the UK with Black Midi's Hellfire my favourite 2 albums from last year. Got both versions I wanted aka the blue smoke version of Ants From Up There and red hellfire. Worth the purchase whenever you can find one for a decent price.

Maybe one of the best albums of the last decade if I’m being honest. I just started getting into Black Midi as well!! Some friends introduced their music to me and it’s so good. Do you have an album rec from them?
@@cwunshine Cavalcade is easily the most accessible in my opion for Black Midi. I got pretty much my favourite albums from last year other being LP - JPEGMAFIA (dont look at what it get it hurts) but either cavalcade or shlag (only album I'm missing from Black Midi) or all 3 of their albums. They're extreamly good. only other artist quite like them would maybe be Swans but they do whatever the fuck they want.
You still get the Gary Jules version of Mad World on the soundtrack of Donnie Darko don't you ? You did on the original. Nice to have The Killing Moon by Echo & The Bunnymen & Under The Milkyway by The Church ( My favorite Australian band ) & you need the other version for those , I think. Quadrophenia is a great album & the booklet is cool & the pictures aren't from the film but are shots from the actual Mods Vs Rockers battles in Brighton a beautiful seaside city in the UK. Rough Trade is an Awesome 👌 store ! Glad you made time to go there. See Ya 😊
YES it does have the Jules version of Mad World!!! Killing Moon is my fav track though, wish that was on the vinyl too. AND OH YO THATS SO COOL I didn’t realize that about the Quadrophenia booklet, thanks for letting me know :))
yea Laurell Hell was extremely disappointing. especially after her last album which is her best imo & one of the most iconic albums of the last 10 yrs lol i love be the cowboy

Unfortunately recycled vinyl is full of impurities resulting in poor sound.
oh dam that sucks :(( the quality def varies in my experience, some I have sound just fine but others are pretty loud w/pops and such
