Good day. I also wanted to mention that the crusty transmission was more than likely repurposed for something else. I have a few where the kickers were torched off because the transmission was used on a piece of americana/farm equipment, etc. possibly driven by an electric motor? One good thing about a transmission used for a piece of equipment is that it was probably left in one gear and never really shifted. Cheers, Smitty.
