    i'm happy he's moved to sunderland, Danns is a quality striker who rarely doesn't impact games. Having most recently scored in our most recent FA Cup match and also made his UCL debut against PSV recently too. Once Danns comes back i can't wait to see how he develops with sunderland in the coming months, best of luck to you guys and Danns for the rest of the season

    Nice review mate. Well balanced and you make some great point as always.
    Very happy with the window. I'm okay with not having another RW. I think paveda has something to offer and Le Fee and Mayenda also if need be.
    Totally agree with the fullback situation however, that was my one concern also. Left ourselves with 6 first team defenders, and if a fullback goes its likely o9 who has to move, changing the CB partnership and losing his progressive play abilities.
    I wonder if they had some trouble signing someone because we'd be asking a player to come in and play as backup, to then compete with Alese and Huggins assuming they come back for next season. Praying for Hume and Cirkin health 😅

    Totally agree about full back cover. A loan deal there would have been perfect. Enzo? He could be the one who guides us back to the promised land. Shame about Danns but let's just hope it is only rest needed. How did Liverpool medical team not pick up on this though? It was also good to see some more fringe players go out on loan too. The squad does not look so bloated now. On another point I am really looking forward to seeing what Triantis offers to us next season. A quick word about Samed. I felt a lot better of our chances when he came on. IMO there is a bloody good player in there when he gets properly match fit. Looking good.

    Mate honestly Burstow doesn't deserve mentioning in the same sentence as danns. He's looked class and very dangerous whenever I've watched him play for Liverpool. He's definitely better than Burstow, he already has goals and assists for Liverpool first team, sure Burstow has barely played for chelsea first team

    Let's hope he's a game changer if and when he's fit 🙏

    The lad doesn’t look happy but you’ve got a cracking little signing there. Look after him.

    We can all have an opinion on danns but until he sets foot on the pitch let's reserve the negativity...young lad learning his trade at Liverpool and held in high regard so it's a good opportunity for SAFC to look at him and hopefully can help our squad and cause.

    I did some research and was chuffed to find out that almost 100% of their fans said they would rather send out Darwin Nunez out on loan and KEEP Jayden Danns for first team minutes off the bench THIS SEASON. That says a lot. If he regains fitness quickly enough, he could be another Amad for us.

    Huggins surely not far away otherwise Seelt can play full back as well .
    Or could try one of the u21 players

    "Fox in the Box" his best work is only inside the penalty area, no good outside the area, deadly inside the penalty box.

    The lack of fullbacks is the main issue for me, we weren’t even linked with any and it’s worrying that the club didn’t think we needed any. I maybe be a harsh judge but I think both Hume and Cirkin have had many poor games defensively and they look fatigued because they’re expected to play every match. Hjelde is crap and said himself he’s a centre back, Huggins and Alese permanently crippled, never rated O’Nien at right back and Christ remember when they put Seelt there last year - never again please!!!

  • @jmmypaddy
    @jmmypaddy วันที่ผ่านมา

    We are in mad need for a right back who can actually defend, although Ballard could cone into the side and put O'nien as right back.

    You can never be 100% sure with youngsters unless of course they happen to be a 16 year old Messi. Disappointed to hear about the back issue but in terms of playing style and I'm NOT saying he is as good , he is very Harry Kane. It's all about hard work and luck with injury but he could be special time will tell. YNWA

    Keeping Tommy Watson was a good piece business. Losing him would've been a mistake.

  • @ThaneME2
    @ThaneME2 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    I thought this was a pretty pointless signing to start with but I thought to myself maybe he could have an opportunity on the wing while Mundle and Watson work there way back but now by the time he's fit we'll have nearly everybody fully fit, he'll not get much game time anyway, can't play him as the lone striker cos that's Isidors position and even as a front 2 u can't cos Mayenda has 9 goal contributions this season and it would be harsh to throw him to one side, waste of a signing, it's a good job they got Le Fee in cos let's be real they haven't really gone for it have they

      It is not a waste of time or loan space at all he is a quality player and has bags of 1st team and premiership experience . If you speak to any Liverpool fans ,they will tell you he is a gud young striker 👍🤔

      @ exactly mate remember last season I know le fee not a striker but we signed 4 striker yes Mayenda has came very good but the other three in Burstow Semedo and Rusyn although Ruysn was decent they weren’t all that good

      @@malcolmdonnison3987 3 appearances in the league, yes plenty in the cup competitions, fair enough the lad might have something about him but it's irrelevant, I guarantee you injury or not he doesn't get into that starting 11 and he'd be lucky to get many appearances from the bench, like I keep saying to people does he play as the lone striker no cos that's for Isidor, does he play as a front 2 IMO no cos Danns hasn't done anything yet and Mayenda has 9 goal contributions, yes had he not been injured he might of got a chance on the wing but by the time he's back Watson and Mundle will likely be back, when he returns he'll be another Connolly or Rusyn who'll be lucky to get off the bench, u know Le Bris doesn't like to change much unless he has to

      @@malcolmdonnison3987 Akpom proven at this level, Archer decent record at this level, yes Cannon not worth the money but experienced at this level but you're more happy with a very inexperienced striker who's injured

    Another injured loan player. Sigh, To be honest, I'm not sure why we've signed him.

    • @leeroii89
      @leeroii89 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Because he's a good player and he'll be fit very soon, then he'll be able to add something different, he can play across the forward line. Go have a look at games when he's played for Liverpool. I honestly thought we wouldn't be able to sign him when he was first mentioned

  • @daviddonnelly7182

    Looks a great signing but proof is in performances, we have had highly rated players before but as you say it's on the pitch what matters. At the end of the day he is a Liverpool player.
