- Today, I compare a $130 RGB mouse mat against a $60 one... Both are extended and have enough room for a keyboard and mouse but is the fancy Razer Strider Chroma worth paying the extra money for? Or is the Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma a better option for half the price?

Razer employee here. DO NOT poke a hole into the mousepad. It has a flex-PCB and a lightguide throughout the entire area of the mousepad (which is what makes it so expensive, and difficult to scale up). There's a very good chance you will make it unusable (or the RGB much worse at minimum) if you drill a hole into it.
could you suggest any other mousepad
why making such features and then cover it all with the cloth and make the price way higher when users can't ultilize all these RGB
To be honest i wanna buy razer strider but i have 2 questions for razer company
1) why there's no white razer strided chroma same as goliathus with white/black
2) why do these mats cost so much when there is an analog from hyperx pulsefire cheaper
most of the mats from China are cheaper, but the raiser has very expensive mats, just for the sake of them working together. In my country it costs 150$ Carl, 150$. I read most of the comments and they say that this pad deteriorates after washing, turns into a swamp and so on. So the life of the pad is about a year? to be honest, if the pad cost at least around $ 80-100 in my country i could buy it. if the raiser would have made discounts, then I think many people would not have insulted this company.
how the fuck would it make the whole mousepad unusable if you drill a hole it's not like it will just disintegrate in front of you

Got it today, expected it to be brighter as well (i mean in the dark it's more than alright but... when you think about it's price it's not really worth it in my opinion)
The mousepad looks awesome! Unfortunately it is literally impossible for me to buy it since we have to import it from other countries and nobody does it. So for now I'll have to admire it through the screen and go with the inferior goliathus chroma.
Why the f*ck do all companies insist on putting the connector on the left side and not at the top middle! I refuse to buy one until someone figures out how people would actually cable manage their stuff!

Don't know If I would have put a hole threw my brand new mouse pad mate haha but I have the white atlas glass pad and it's amazing
Never tried one of those glass ones but I have heard great things about them!
I also really love the razer atlas glass pad, especially the coating feels super nice

How is this mouse mat for stains/cleaning? I really like the look of it. My only concern is that I eat at my desk fairly regularly and I worry that if it gets dirty it's gonna stain and not be as easily cleanable as a properly hard mouse mat would be.

How is the control/speed compared to the goliathus?

The fire fly v2 is the same thing rgb but small so they overpriced this

I cut a hole in the middle of my strider chroma mouse mat but it messed up the RGB lights on the outside, how did you cut yours so the lights were still working?

@@TechBlock I tried it again on my replacement mouse pad since I saw your video, and the same thing happened, the RGB lights got messed up. Where was your hole located if you had to measure exactly where you put a hole on your mouse pad?

My strider chroma lost so much of its brightness over the time and if i set one color its not consistend at all. Would like to know if thats normal problem or just me
No, I cannot say mine has lost any brightness. I used it for about 6-months, then switched to the Hyte CNVS for 6-months. Now back to the Strider. It’s still the same as before

Real quick tho... Is that keyboard the Huntsman Elite? I thought I saw a scroll wheel instead of the dial that my Elite has. My Blackwidow v4 75% arrived in the mail today, which had me looking... It's sooo nice... but I'm already missing that RGB underglow on the wrist rest.
