Chinese New Year in Liverpool 2024, Year of the Dragon

Thousands turned out at Liverpool China town, The largest Chinese community in Europe outside of china. the celebrations went on all day.

Wow, didn't know lion dance is popular among English. It's so encouraging to watch everybody coming together to celebrate. I hope the lion dancers will become more skilled in traditional dance moves. 🎉

It's apparently the oldest in Europe. Started off in Pitt Street around 1900 but it was bombed badly during WW2 so moved round the corner to Nelson Street.
