If it was like 500 I would consider. Its an amazing instrument no doubt. But until it is affordable for people who don't play professionally they might not sell many.

I think a force touch feature (common in electronic keyboards) is must for this to be anything more than a toy. Perhaps a foot pedal can control the volume if not pressure sensitivity? Excited for this nevertheless!
Acoustic tabla is a fixed height and therefore doesn't suit players with different size body height and shoulder height. This is the reason that players tilt to their own preferred angles, but this has a height adjustment. Thanks for commenting.
