I’ve watch half dozen videos on this years show. This by far the best. I live maybe 6 miles from there but was so sick this weekend could not attend. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the video, it really makes my day and other old farts that can't get out and travel like we use to, I love all old cars but my favorite are the 1930's model Ford's, keep it up guys Freddie out!
Thanks for watching, we hope to let people feel like they're there and also maybe inspire them to come out to some of these bigger shows if they can travel!
Beautiful cars! Some of them aren't my thing, but wow are they done well. Loved the VW powered dragster and the hit and miss special! Thanks for taking us along!
thanks so much guys for bringing us along! just so much and it was nearly overwhelming so i cannot imagine what it is to be like to actually be there. just too many awesome cars! btw it is so cool that t-buckets had such a presence.
What a show, and what would I give to have that flat head to Lincoln. Thanks Matt this was your best coverage ever they’re all good but this was the best.
I used to have a special car a 1952 Packard clipper business coupe one off. Bought it from a guy that was an engineer for Packard back in the good old days. He designed cars for them and made samples to try an push his ideas. When I got hold of it I chopped it Z-d the frame channeled the body shaved it front to back. Had a special kustom 434 ci motor fuel injection set up the works only pushing 800-900 hp more than a enough for me. The dash was cut up and I used three different dashes to make one. That Packard and my 1952 Packard Limo kustom low rider was a blast. Drive that beast from NY to Des Monies Iowa in 1980 for a big kustom car gathering. Me and my friend had a blast. I found someone selling old 45 records and had to buy a bunch. I used to have long hair the pompadour D/A duck tail style with my old leather motorcycle jacket from 1955. My cousin gave it to me in 1969 still have my old jacket too. I made such a wild kustom car out of it. I had it from 1978-2008 candy pearl metal flake orange with wild flames boy that Packard was something to see. Sorry to say it was stolen sometime in 2008-09 Bummer 😾😿some really amazing cars their to see. Only problem is they are strictly show queens never touched or driven and Strictly garage kept. I love fancy detailed cars but there is a fine line to over board. I want a nice paint job but I want to drive my cars also.
A really excellent video Guys , some of those most perfect and beautiful Rods and Roadsters that could be imagined ! For some reason the image of that patina'd blue LZ Convertible stuck in my mind . Something that The Addams Family might have enjoyed ...
Hi guys, thanks for letting us enjoy those beautiful beasts, really the bodywork, painting and mechanics have nothing to envy to the best art gallery, I bother you again when you can add the subtitles in Latin Spanish so we can also enjoy his stories, I send you a big hug and blessings from Buenos Aires Argentina.
Thank you! Thank you! Felt like I was there! Fabulous footage - fantastic camera work!!! Dopest music as usual! Can’t believe all those drag icons together in the same place. I’ve always wanted to see the Showboat/Buick & Backup Pickup in person, this is the next best thing!! To get these great shots -Did y’all use drones, or a long crane arm, did Matt stand on your shoulders or??? Y’all deserve a gimbal sponsorship in the very least.
Thanks for watching Matt! It's a combination of a gimbal / Mike being Tall, and a wide angle lens on the camera. We upped our gear in late 2019 to make these show coverage videos more enjoyable to watch and we're glad you liked it! We'd love a camera gear sponsor someday! Haha. -Matt/ITG
Lots of good looking hot rods. It’s a treasure trove of mechanical and design ideas for guys like you. Those ‘39 Mercurys might inspire you to work on yours.
I spent a lot of time studying the chop on the hardtop. It was done an early Barris style retaining the straight center post/trim as I intend to do. Really neat car!
Thank you for the compliments Dan, we upgraded camera gear last summer and we're trying to get better at filming and editing. Mike did a great job on this one! -Matt/ITG
Matt, you know Ross Myers bought the Kookie Car, don't you? Coming to 3 Dog near you, hopefully. I've been wondering for years if the Dorman Coopman car at 8:00 ever got finished, and there it was. Glad you answered that question for me. I loved that car since I saw it in Hot Rod in 1964. Hello from Pleasantville.
Hey Tom! Yes I did know that. The orange 35 in the suede palace is also his. Some great stuff there. We’re doing a tour there on the 15th of Feb actually! Thanks for watching!
Fabulous footage! Dopest music! Can’t believe those drag icons together in the same place. I’ve always wanted to see the Showboat/Buick & Backup Pickup in person, this is the next best thing!! Did y’all use drones, or a long crane arm or???
Matt, Did you have a chance to check out the Jake Jacobs and Bobby Walden collaborative "Jitney" 32 frame on display in the Walden Speed Shop booth? What do you think about it?
It was restored to the Kookie T era style. If you know the history of the car that version was actually the second version as it was originally black and called the "Lighting Bug".
It takes an entire day to really "take in" the indoor portion of the show. If you come Friday or Saturday it takes probably half a day to see all of the cars outside and then you have the NHRA museum on site to also visit. Easily can spend a weekend there if you wanted to!
What was that AMBR competitor at 18:45 thinking with that color. They might have been a contender if they hadn't gone with puke green. I swear I've vomited up something that color.
Dandy camera use. Made for a very comfortable trip to this very cool show. Keep up the great work.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT ALL OF THESE YEARS!!! TOTALLY AWESOME VIDEO!!!! MUST WATCH!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!

Rolling art. Awesome. The man hours put in on all those rods far exceed my 63 years here on earth. I'll take one of each please! Steve in Texas.

Hi from New Zealand,
Looks awesome.
Cheers
Jonny.
4:16 Wow that paint! After some googling, seems like it's some candy matte blend, what a cool effect.
lobmin it’s a satin paint job 👍🏻
@@deanniederkrom6686 But that depth! It must be some weird blend.
Brilliant video, many thanks.
Thanks for the video nice job. Yep Hoya Hoya Gramps on the couch.
Great video, I like how you pan around the cars, music is awesome! I’m a big fan of your channel.
You're right, the music is killer. Does anybody know who it is?

The car at 22:17 looks like they did the same firewall install, as what you're doing.
Fantastic camera work by the way!

GREAT VIDEO WORK. The Cars were also GREAT.
Thanks for watching!
The GNRS and the Detroit Great 8 are both on my bucket list!
NOTHING BEATS THE SHAPE OF THE GOOD OLD UTE @ 24:20😆😆😆😆😆😆
These are some nice cars. Another great video 👍👍

Great camera work guys
Very good. The camera work is superb.
Thanks for watching!
Love the green dragster with the dusty trophies 🏆
You could just "smell" how old it was. One of my favorites as well! -Matt/ITG
COOL CARS!!!! I think, early on, I saw a '57-'59 English Ford Anglia/ Prefect.....I don't see them anymore..
Your camera work is awesome!
I like the Free T more than what won the national, keep up the great work guys
Rick B aka Plastic butcher

Haha thanks guys! Ours isn't that nice, but we appreciate the support!
The thumbnail with Norm Grabowski's Kooky T made me watch!
One of the best!
very cool - thanks guys

Beautiful rides. 😍
Thanks for watching!
The "kookie" car. Used to watch that show (77 Sunset Strip) every week just to get a glimpse of that car.
It was incredible seeing it in person! Definitely one of our highlights of the show!
Pretty much every car in the suede palace was bad ass. I'd be in there the entire show
Thanks for watching!
Good to see the "Orange Crate"
Building 9, whats not to LOVE ?
Matt saw your interview on Car Smarts Radio.
Thanks for listening/watching!
The orange crate drag car I had the model of that when I was just 12 yrs old ...Iam 65 now
Me too.....64now
Loved the video. More to the show than I thought there was. But AMBR 2020? More like 1988.
How do you title a model a if you start with just a body with no frame or engine?
Matt, Did you have a chance to check out the Jake Jacobs and Bobby Walden collaborative "Jitney" 32 frame on display in the Walden Speed Shop booth? What do you think about it?
The Hemi under glass seems to have recovered nicely from the Jay Leno test drive.
Me too. ..wonder if the roll over was the real thing, or clone. The one shown had only one seat.
How do you pick the Best?
look at the bullets on that caddy!
I wish I could post a picture response. Have you seen the pic with Tommy Ivo under the Kookie Kar with a measuring tape?
I did see that. Super cool!
So many cars & so many thoughts threw out the video.
How about the car with the hit n miss engine? Who da thought...
Thanks guys.
Thanks for watching!
Badass rides
Rec'd the fantastic picture I ordered, thanks.
Was that Piece of Pie car’s drivetrain chain-driven?
Quarantine me there!
The Leg Show T is the winner , in my book.
Mike
It was one of our tops as well! Thanks for watching!
@@IronTrapGarage Thanks for what you guys do as well. I live in New Mexico and will likely NEVER get to a great show.

Poor boys (Dan Sobeski?) was an employee for Boyd Coddington once upon a time.Same shop after coddingtons missus closed the doors.
Cool video guys, Did that Black thing with the flames win best roadster ?
B, I was wondering the same thing...The early 90’s called, it wants its car back.
Yup! The black car won AMBR
@@IronTrapGarage I didn't like it myself. I thought it looked to generic and didn't have any originality.
My pick was the WAR PAINT pickup
глаза заболели от такой красоты
Size DD+ Dagmars on the caddy.
Kooky and Leg show please!
big hit with me the hit & miss special. hope it has a carb not a box of gas
