    Interesting that you should choose the figure of -17°C as a reference point.
    That is exactly the temperature in which I used my hammock last winter.
    I have a Dutchware hammock and a down '360' top quilt and under quilt set from Cumulus.
    I have to admit, I was cold. I'm of an age now where I do feel the cold. It's also possible that I didn't quite adjust the underquilt correctly to maximise its insulation properties.
    Guess I'll have to give it another go this winter before all the snow disappears.

    I've been sleeping in a One Wind hammock for about a year every night. In my home, to be clear. 12 ft. zipped bug net.

    Can't lie that tip for chucking your storage bags in the UQ. . Sounds silly and simple BUT it's genius! I'm forever loosing them in the bottom of my bag come the morning!! Good shout Dan. . Congratulations again on 100,000 subscribers 👏👏🎉. . Please help me hit 1,000 😂😢😅

    I’ve considered buying a down quilt but I’ve been using a sleeping bag unzipped like a quilt instead.
    I can’t see much difference but at least with a sleeping bag, you can use it like a conventional bag if you want to.

    Dan when a sleeping bag says -17 that is the limit, but if you look at the information when you are going to buy something like that, there is a comfort number, Which is the one people should be looking at. Not the limit, MANY people get caught out like that. So please read the comfort number for sleeping well and warm. Not just stayin' alive. 🇬🇧😱🥃👍

    I'd love to try this, but I'd also be scared to, as I'm so clumsy. I broke my foot and chipped my ankle just getting out of bed, after falling asleep with my foot under me, so who knows what damage I could do to myself with this. 😂

    I would need to loose weight before i even think about laying in a hammock. I'd just think it'll give way and dump me on the floor.
    But i need to loose weight so maybe in the future.... 🤔

      @CragScrambler 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I'm 6'2" and 19 stone and am fine in an DDHammock, so if you're about my size you should be okay.

      I'm shorter by an inch but probably heavier, but I don't know because I haven't weighed myself in years. 😆
      I need to loose weight anyway so it's just another reason to do it. 👍
