- I’m finally dropping another “More Than Movies” episode. I feel like it’s been a while. This time I’ll be discussing being an Uncle and my relationship with my nephew and niece. I hope you enjoy.

I was happy to see a new more than movies show up in my notifications and I really enjoyed this. I have two daughters, a 5 year old and a 3 year old, and I adore them. I can't wait for them to get home from school each day so I can take them on a bike ride to a nearby playground or next door to visit with my parents. If I had a highlight reel of the years since I've become a father, every clip would include them. They're amazing.

Hearing you talk about how special that affection and connection is between you and your niece was really touching. I know it's easy to be really hard on ourselves and always feel like we're not doing enough, but from the sound of it you're a great uncle that puts in time and cares deeply, so I think you're already doing a wonderful job! Your niece and nephew are lucky to have you as their uncle. 🙂

Hit the nail right on the head there, Bob. Since we don’t have kids ourselves, it took a call from my mother to remind me that my nephews were getting older and I needed to see them more. Time is one thing we don’t get back. So, when I started my new series, my first guests were my nephews. Just trying to spend as much time with them as I can before “it’s time to pay the check”. Wait at least another year before showing her “Cannibal Holocaust” though. 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks Johnny. I’m glad you’re able to spend more time with your niece and nephew. You’re darn right about time being super precious and valuable. We’ll never get it back so we better spend it wisely.
Great video. The first time I held my son. Was game changer. I had a horrible past and the day I held him alot of it went away. my number 1 responsibility was him after . The first day I came home from work that he was able to crawl towards the door towards me and smiling. To when he runs to me now.. it melts my heart. I don't post my son alot as I feel people don't want to see pics of him. But marie posts a ton for both of us. It hurts I don't see him alot as I work alot during the week an see him 2 hours a day. But I spend that time to eat dinner and read to him before bed. I know as he gets older as I was . It will be all about friends . So I try an do what I can know with him. Even writing this I tear up thinking of the the 6 great years I had with him

It is great that you have such a good relationship with your family. My brother spent a lot of time with my boys when they were growing up and it made a huge difference in their lives.
Yeah I think it’s super important to be active and a part of our nephew or nieces lives.

That's awesome Bob Uccle Bob from T2 LOL it sounds like your niece and nephew are really fun to be around those are really cute pictures. My Niece along with my brother in law and sister came to visit me and my parents here in South East Asia where I live for some family reunions my Niece I won't say her name for safety reasons but she is 11 years old now and growing. How time flies. I'm not really active in my niece's life she goes to school a lot but I do try to talk with her on skype when I talk to my sister when she can which is almost everyday since we live on opposite ends of the earth. I also left something for my niece that I told her that if you ever decide you want to come here and live where I am right now one of these days my dad has left me some land in my name that I will pass on to you so that you will be able to have income more than enough income to live a good life here if things back in America become too stress full for you and you don't want to work for anyone or you might just decide to retire early. When I pass away from this world to the next it will all be for her since I don't have any kids of my own and don't see myself getting married and having kids anytime soon even though I'm reaching 40 years old soon. So yeah it's great to have Niece's and Nephews for sure🆒🆒👍👍😎😎
