LET ME KNOW THE COLOUR MIX YOU WANT TO SEE NEXT!!
I'd love to see some really bright colors! I know you're more of a toned down / natural colors kind of person, but maybe you could make some really bright hanks to sell?
Bright blue, bright pink, bright yellow, then let the colorsmix to make orange, purple, and green.
one soft pastel rainbow with darker colored solid flecks use a paint brush to splatter it : )
I love this! When you were adding colours I thought there may be a horrible mixture of them all together but I am amazed how they have kept separate with just a bit of blending. Thank you, this has been lovely to watch and I love the colours in both skeins.
I never thought you could use food coloring to dye yarn. That's awesome! I think my daughter and I would love to see a unicorn rainbow color. 😊
That's a great idea! It goes with the magical vibe I like, and unicorns are great! Added to the list!
ooh that sounds so pretty
i need like 10 skiens of the swampy green one, i LOVE that one so much, great job!! i would love to see one that is speckled and reminds me of a field of wildflowers with a bright blue sky.
I love the idea of wildflowers and the sky! Let's do that next!!
Laura, with those pigtails you suddenly remind me a lot of the girl who I used to live next to as a kid. She was my very best friend.
yay! I love to be able to bring up good memories! Also, pigtails are the new ponytail for sure. very secure, hair out of face, and CUTE! :D
I feel like you need a big one gallon jug of copper... it goes in everything. And thanks for the tutorial thingy.... I like how relaxed you are.
MORE gorgeous colours :) :) :)
The swampy green one is totally amazing!!
I agree, it is my favourite so far!!
I wish I could give your video multiple likes. I’m so inspired, thank you so much. Do you show the yarns all worked up? I would like to see how they look then. Thanks again
I'm really enjoying the variation when you use food coloring. very lovely and gives me some ideas for future projects for myself.
I'm so glad!
Kool-aide dyed yarn i know fades if you wear it a lot in the sun like a spring top all the winter items I have dyed did not had that problem. So wondering is Food coloring more colorfast?
food colouring os more colourfast, only because it is JUST the dye. Kool-aid is dye, sugar, flavour, etc. SO the food colouring has more undiluted pigment to grip the fibres, without the interaction of the other ingredients!
so. No microwaving to set the color? Does vinegar set the dye color? If so, how much do you use? is this yarn colorfast? I have made some huge accidents in the past with all this. thank you for your video!
Lovely colors 😍
Thank you! what would you like to see next?
@@LastMinuteLaura I love all of the foresty/woodsy kaleidoscope vibes you've been doing 😊 could you do another green/brown one?😍
absolutely! maybe we can add some different greens in the next one, maybe some more yellows?
@@LastMinuteLaura that sounds lovely 😍
I’ll always love that sweater you’ve got on 😍 they turned out beautifully! Definitely got a soft spot for that light blue
my dad specifically liked the blue the best too! I showed him the shawl, and he immediately pointed the blue :D
Looks amazing!
Which food dye did you use? It's very concentrated & not watery like the supermarket brand
Wilton gel food colouring. See www.partycity.ca/en/pdp/wilton-colour-icing-kit-8-pk-8430302p.8430302.html for example. Good luck. 👋
