The Mamas fick sitt stora genombrott och vann svenska folkets hjärtan när de tog hem vinsten i Melodifestivalen 2020 med låten ”Move”, och Ash Haynes, Loulou Lamotte och Dinah Yonas Manna har intagit en självklar plats på den svenska musikscenen.
Sedan vinsten har The Mamas haft stora toppliste- och radioframgångar och uppträtt i bland annat Allsång på Skansen, Idol och för kronprinsessan Victoria på hennes födelsedag. I höstas släppte de sin debut-EP ”Tomorrow Is Waiting”.
Nu står de på Melloscenen för tredje året i rad, som de första omedelbart återkommande vinnarna sedan Fame 2004.

- Vi var i studion med Robin Stjernberg och gjorde klart vår EP. Han spelade upp låten, och vi tyckte väldigt mycket om den och ville testa att sjunga in den. När vi gjort det kändes det magiskt, som att vi måste göra det här. Vi grät, det var så starka känslor. - บันเทิง

I basically agree, but the ‘tall mama” is an alto and Lulu and Ash are sopranos. The preference for solo parts mostly goes to sopranos. Even with ABBA. But Dinah s my favorite. I love how clothes look on her and her silky voice. ❤️🥰Love the Mamas

They never did any dress change. It's a pre recorded clip and in it, they have the same outfit as they had last year when they won but never had a chance to represent Sweden in ESC. They want this to represent that they are still there, hungry to win again for the 3rd time lol.

This really must win. It’s honestly got so much soul and it’s everything eurofans love about Sweden in the contest. I don’t want to trash anyone’s favourites but I don’t hear anything that has soul, heart, guts and determination like this. You can’t help but just smile whenever you see them on stage. I can only speak for my own dislike, which has nothing to do with Dotter (although she is waaaaay better than these overrated backup singers): from the looks, I think The Mamas are absolutely repulsive and this mediocre song is even more crap than Move.
They should have stayed where they belong: in the background. Or at the Lidl.

That transition and outfit change was amazing
I watched them qualify for the finals but was kinda disappointed in this song. Had bigger expectations. But yesterday I was just chilling with the radio on and thought "Hey, this is a very catchy song... Great voices... Wonder who they are!" 😁 So, safe to say that it grew on me) without me even noticing)
