As much I want the bulls to make it to the playoffs, it going to be good or Decent this year here what I think it probably going to happen. Beginning of all stars weeks the bulls lose couple game and win some depending on who they play, next injury going to shut down the momentum and opportunities for the playoff spot. After the all stars games to end of the season trade deadline if the bulls make it to the playoffs I think 1st round or 2nd round team and could be a threat,ONE MORE TIME IF THE BULLS MAKE IT TO THE PLAYOFFS THEY COULD BE THE THREAT it depending I don't know but I do know if not somebody want to be trade or free agent To answer your question do I think the bulls make it to the playoffs this year......nope I want to believing in bulls because it too early they are in head start still got to worry about defending champions bucks,the warriors, the Lakers, well the rest of the teams
With Some luck/other teams suffering injuries, I could see them squeaking into the ECF, but that's about as far as they'd go, and that's if the basketball gods are on their side.
The Bulls have some really good pieces this year. With vucevic, derozan, and ball they are scary good. The bulls front office hit it out of the park in the offseason and right now it’s working incredible.

The Bulls have everything goin for them right now and it’s great to see them competitive like back in the D-Rose days. Zo, Demar and Caruso have been excellent additions alongside Zach and Vuc plus guys like Coby White, Javonte Green and DJJ off the bench that are hustlers. It sucks Patrick Williams will be out for the season, he was definitely due for a breakout one this year.

Yes I am looking forward to seeing how this year turns out...we have had nice rosters over the years not saying every key player was elite but we had some good talent especially when d rose deng and taj was with thibs or when we had kirk and Gordon but I feel like we got some nice players that will work well together.
Lonzo and Caruso are the best defensive PG duo I’ve seen in years! Lonzo should be in consideration for DPOY. He’s so good on defense he can even guard PFs! He’s capable of slowing KD and LeBron down, again slowing them down… Not completely stop them from scoring. As a Bucks fan, I see the Bulls as a big time threat in the East! 🤙🏻 Great job to the management and Coach Billy Donovan! 👊🏻 Hoping for Bucks - Bulls matchup in the playoffs.
It's crazy how some people though just speak on offense, offense. When defense is what wins championships. When the dude on this video, pointed to the bench players scoring so low and they should shoot more. Should realize if you're efficient and play stifling defense you don't need to shoot alot.
The Bucks are gonna hate playing against chicago if they face them in the playoffs. Its only a 2hr drive from chicago- and not to mention a lot of people there are from chicago so the games will have a lot of bulls fans. (see the 2015 playoffs bulls vs bucks game 3, game 4 and game 6. )

From what I've been reading it sounds like we are looking to ship him out. At the start of the season I would have hated that idea...but Ayo has been pretty damn good. Not as good as Coby but...good enough that if we can get a solid piece trading Coby away I'd be fine with it.

I don’t think they do because they’re gonna have to resign Zach Lavine which is a max contract and then they have Vooch, Demar and Lonzo on fairly hefty contracts paired with Caruso, Patrick Williams etc who are getting decent money
this is a regular season team. They have lots of talent and can just outrun teams. That works in the regular seasons because you dont gameplay for each opponent. In the playoffs they will get exposed. Especially if they continue to relegate Vucevic to a jump shooter.

Even with his slow start...he's the most unreplaceable player on our team (note I'm not saying he's the actual best). Vuc and Zach run pick and rolls and pick and pops with him in half court sets. It's like our only offense in the half court. I legit got in an argument with a dude who told me Lonzo Ball is in the big 3 and not Vuc because Lonzo Ball is proven!? I effing love Lonzo...and his defense is amazing. But VUC has been an all star!!

Hearing If Markkanen provided what what Vucevic does, sounds paradoxical. Now they have a true center with enough vision to playmake. While Markkanen has been doing well now that cavs use him as a shoot first small forward.
Derozan is by far the best acquisition the Bullsmade this season. His ability to drain mid range jumpers consistently is exactly what they needed to not fall into a drought that they find themselves in so often. Im very excited to see players like Javonte Green, Ayo Dosunmu develop thru out the season, what I saw from both of those guys in the last 5 games looked very promising to me. Hyped to see my team doing good again.

And then we finally fired Jim Boylen, then trading for Vucevic, that was all I needed to see. I’m back as a Bulls fan. I never really left, but fans of bad teams know what I mean. Then we made the best off-season moves in the league! And now they’re one of the best teams in the whole league (the best team actually!) so far. I feel like a young teenager again! It’s truly beautiful to watch.
Finally enjoying watching my favorite team since I was a kid, the Chicago Bulls, for the first time in several years. There is finally something positive to watch out for. They will be really fun to watch though, even as a fan, being realistic they are not title contenders. Hopefully they will prove everyone wrong 🤞
The think playing for Coach Pop really helped DeMar realize his true skill set and how he can mild his game to fit to the current NBA without shooting 3’s frequently. Also Lonzo and Vuc are very underrated.

I mean I love lonzo and I think they'll be good..but imo it'll be a year or so before they really take off..which I'm excited about. As a lonzo fan he feels like he actually wants to be there. Hoping for him and the bulls to stay healthy.
The bulls being bottom in bench scoring but high in efficiency actually makes sense because Billy Donovan has only been running a 9 man rotation and staggering Lavine and derozen throughout the game. Meaning most of the time one of the starters are out there to lead the offense and the bench players don’t have to force any bad shots.

Anyone basketball fan who has any semblance of knowledge about the game shouldn’t be surprised one bit of how good the Bulls are. Derozan, Lavine & Vucevic are all top 5-7 in their respective positions and Lonzo is a top 15 PG so based solely off their talent at the top is among the best in the league. They’re easily a contender and only people who watch basketball with a calculator and spreadsheets doubted them

I’ve been a Bulls fan since the 04-05 season so I’ve been through the ups and the downs. I’ve even gotten a tattoo of the logo. Lavine has proven me wrong. Back when we first got him, I was mad when the Bulls said they were going to build around him after coming off the torn ACL instead of Markannan because I believed that he was going to be the next Dirk. I’ve been begging for new front offices and coaching staff for years. I’m excited. And if Coby White has a problem coming off the bench, trade him to the Knicks and we’ll bring Rose back.
Billy Donovan will always command respect from his players considering his resume, couched arguably the greatest talent to ever grace the hard wood floor in Kevin Durant and lets not forget he also coached the great james harden and westbrook
It's starting to look like the new front office acquisition wasn't just these new elite players but an elite coach Billy Donovan. Donovan have always had good defense but this season it looking top 5 and the Bulls bench is a big part of the increasing defensive attacks from Billy-D-mob which I nickname the Bulls bench, its a play on Billy Donovan's name mix with a well-known Black actor and the capital D for defense and Billy's last name a very layered nickname.
It sucks they got knocked out first round but ball was dealing with injury and now that these guys have a yr together playing and the signing of Drummond I expect them to make the second round maybe even conference finals in 2023...love my bulls

Nice breakdown. I don't see a long playoff run not enough depth at big and these Bulls will struggle at times defending teams with smaller scorers. I see them as a 5/6 seed unless they can find a solid big to put up 30+ minutes at the 4
What you bring up about Derozan, as much as Poppovich has looked suspect in recent years, this is one thing where you may be able to say it's at least something Poppovich has done right.
I don’t think anyone was doubting that they’d make the playoffs this season. Their roster was already talented enough for that. But I don’t think people were expecting them to be this good. They might make top 4 maybe even top 3 in the East this season.
Coby white is going to help the team with their biggest areas of concern, 3PT shooting and bench scoring. That’s how he is best utilized like Lou will, just go out there and get buckets. If there’s a trade to be made for another forward they should let him play and raise his value first.

AKME and Donovan's idea for this team are simple: 3 all-stars players with 22+ points avarage are surrounded by lot defensive minded players

The think playing for Coach Pop really helped DeMar realize his true skill set and how he can mild his game to fit to the current NBA without shooting 3’s frequently. Also Lonzo and Vuc are very underrated.

I mean I love lonzo and I think they'll be good..but imo it'll be a year or so before they really take off..which I'm excited about. As a lonzo fan he feels like he actually wants to be there. Hoping for him and the bulls to stay healthy.

The bulls being bottom in bench scoring but high in efficiency actually makes sense because Billy Donovan has only been running a 9 man rotation and staggering Lavine and derozen throughout the game. Meaning most of the time one of the starters are out there to lead the offense and the bench players don’t have to force any bad shots.
Why is this team so likeable I ain’t even a bulls fan but I’m kinda rooting for them. Not a fan just wanna see them win. Sooo many humble players who seem like chill cool dudes

Anyone basketball fan who has any semblance of knowledge about the game shouldn’t be surprised one bit of how good the Bulls are. Derozan, Lavine & Vucevic are all top 5-7 in their respective positions and Lonzo is a top 15 PG so based solely off their talent at the top is among the best in the league. They’re easily a contender and only people who watch basketball with a calculator and spreadsheets doubted them

Lifelong Bulls fan who’s been living in PHX for the last 11yrs and after seeing what the Suns did I’m hoping my Bulls can catch that same lightning in a bottle this year.
This team has a lot of offensive power to offset what they lack in defense which is better than expected.. I am looking forward to a matchup with teams that have a pesky defense e.g. The heat and the bucks to see how their offense will hold up..

Longtime Bulls fan. When I saw this video, I thought the title was referencing how the Jordan-era Bulls went from losers to winners. It's been that long since the Bulls seemed like real contenders that I forgot that they had a strong start to the season this year.

I’ve been a Bulls fan since the 04-05 season so I’ve been through the ups and the downs. I’ve even gotten a tattoo of the logo. Lavine has proven me wrong. Back when we first got him, I was mad when the Bulls said they were going to build around him after coming off the torn ACL instead of Markannan because I believed that he was going to be the next Dirk. I’ve been begging for new front offices and coaching staff for years. I’m excited. And if Coby White has a problem coming off the bench, trade him to the Knicks and we’ll bring Rose back.

Billy Donovan will always command respect from his players considering his resume, couched arguably the greatest talent to ever grace the hard wood floor in Kevin Durant and lets not forget he also coached the great james harden and westbrook

It's starting to look like the new front office acquisition wasn't just these new elite players but an elite coach Billy Donovan. Donovan have always had good defense but this season it looking top 5 and the Bulls bench is a big part of the increasing defensive attacks from Billy-D-mob which I nickname the Bulls bench, its a play on Billy Donovan's name mix with a well-known Black actor and the capital D for defense and Billy's last name a very layered nickname.

It sucks they got knocked out first round but ball was dealing with injury and now that these guys have a yr together playing and the signing of Drummond I expect them to make the second round maybe even conference finals in 2023...love my bulls

Nice breakdown. I don't see a long playoff run not enough depth at big and these Bulls will struggle at times defending teams with smaller scorers. I see them as a 5/6 seed unless they can find a solid big to put up 30+ minutes at the 4

What you bring up about Derozan, as much as Poppovich has looked suspect in recent years, this is one thing where you may be able to say it's at least something Poppovich has done right.

I don’t think anyone was doubting that they’d make the playoffs this season. Their roster was already talented enough for that. But I don’t think people were expecting them to be this good. They might make top 4 maybe even top 3 in the East this season.
Coby white is going to help the team with their biggest areas of concern, 3PT shooting and bench scoring. That’s how he is best utilized like Lou will, just go out there and get buckets. If there’s a trade to be made for another forward they should let him play and raise his value first.
Can’t wait for the 1/14 warriors vs bulls rematch, hopefully both teams come in at full strength unlike the first game (no Thompson and Vooch)
