My choices are no better or wiser than yours, but I’ve always been old-fashioned and hesitant of anything I didn’t understand & I never jumped on the bandwagon just because it was new & exciting, because if it’s too good to be true-- chances are it’s not true!

Hi Melanie! I just got to watch this spectacular video you did for me. I absolutely love the card you made and how you taught us so well how to make it. This was so much fun. I’m going to attempt to make this card when I finish making 4 birthday cards. I’ve really got to get started on them. One is in process but I haven’t been able to work on it the last couple of weeks. Thank you so much for the shout out! I loved it! I have a question. Are your colored pencils the Prisma pencils? I have a couple sets of different colored pencils. I haven’t used them for the last couple of years. I tend to use my Copics more than anything along with my ink pads. You are a wonderful colorist. I just need to practice more. With teaching Sunday school I have quite a bit of preparation work to do through the week. And then there is the household chores that have to get done. Ugghhh! I need a maid! John is so good to help me when I ask him. I’m happy to report my ribs are feeling much better. My back is feeling much better but isn’t completely healed quite yet. I start physical therapy tomorrow. I will have that twice a week. Thank you so much for praying for me and the concern you showed to me. Wish we could get together in person sometime. Crafting together would be great fun. And Hun, you are going to love your time in Indiana. John took me there for a tour for my birthday in 2016. I got to sit down and talk with Emma Lou. Tracy took us around but we spent quite a lot of time with Emma Lou. We got to meet Harlan and saw a lot of the staff and met a few of them. The warehouse was much smaller than it is now. I thoroughly enjoyed being there for the day. We stayed in Shipshewana at a large beautiful hotel. There are a lot of Amish there. They had several small shops there and the restaurants were awesome. So have fun my friend! Also August 24th is my birthday. And that is the day we were at Heartfelt Creations in 2016. Take care my friend and thank you so very much for doing this for me. Awe Marla, You are such a sweet gem. It would be so fun to craft with you. I will report back to you as to how the trip goes. I am very excited! To answer your question, yes I used Prisma Color Pencils. I usually use Copics as well but went a little out of my comfort zone on these smaller images and had a good time doing it. I need to use them more. I also have a few other brands to work with as well. I will be leaving here on August 25th so a day after your birthday. Private message me your address....maybe something will mysteriously show up in your mail box ;-)
