For ISI, I'd like to add that you don't have to be a crazy genius to get in like how the general perception is and also what I thought a couple of years ago. The competition isn't that tough if you have prepared seriously and you don't have to perform amazingly well in your paper. Like I wasn't quite happy with my performance especially in the PEB part and most students weren't but still got a rank. Even I wasn't expecting rank 3 at all.
But what you should make sure is that you don't mess up the easy questions in PEB like question no. 5 this year, you gotta do those well. This year if you cleared your PEA and even did just this one question in PEB you'd gotten an interview call. For medium level questions, make sure you do 60-80% of it correctly and hard ones try to attempt it to the best of your capability. This should get you in, from my experience. And one more thing try getting comfortable with proofs in maths, thinking about proofs and writing them out if you don't have a strong math background. Vidhi ma'am also stresses upon it. Hope this helps!

When he left ecopoint , took a drop , he got rank 1 ? Was he taking coaching from ecopoint this year ?
He completed the course with us last year. He made all notes, and gave the exam this year again, because he wanted to get in ISI, which he was not able to get in last year
@@nishantmehraecopoint exactly. Did he join some other coaching this year ? Maybe he cleared this year because of his hard work. Or does one need 2 years to clear ISI if you take coaching from ecopoint.
He didn't re enroll for your course this year. Preparing notes cannot be success of an institute if exam is cleared next year
@@Khanaghumnaa No, I didn't enroll for any other course this year. Secondly, there are plenty of ecopoint students who have cleared it in their first attempt and some don't in several attempts so I don't know what you are getting at?
I hope you understand that a coaching institute's job is to provide you with study material and proper guidance and that Ecopoint has done for me and I'm grateful for that as I have mentioned in the video
