Kiwi here. Judging by the crowd and the passion these young men have. Rugby is in a good place in Europe. Fantastic game, Thank you.
It’s really taking off in Europe. Under 20s is super popular. But look at the European Championship attendances too. Pretty decent for Tier 2 sides!
I mean England did invent the sport mate lmao
Gee thanks for the history lesson which I knew the answer to. It was a compliment to Europe.@@amarjobanputra3506
Meur ras👍
It always was it just needs the financial support from the government its a gentlemen's sport unlike football
this is quality rugby by both young teams.
We went and it was the first time our 9 Yr old went it was for his birthday. Amazing game.
Fantastic from both sides! Rugby is looking bright from both teams
great game, credit to both teams
👍🇮🇪
Great game but don't know how first try was given
Ref was most definitely a bit biased at the best of times but it always seemed to be to the team that was the weakest
Huge crowd for 20s. Rugby is a global game.
What a wonderful game of rugby, with hardly any kicking, rugby is in great shape as these fine young men demonstrated 👊
Well that looked a fantastic game of rugby. Well done to all those young players involved
wow what a game
Double movement on the first English try
Aki coming in from the side, collapsing the maul…………..
Learn the laws then come back
Nah I would say it was a semi move? Or more like a quarter at max.
@@kenrehill8775aki wasn't playing tonight he's in the seniors bud
He can reach and place it. He didn't propel himself forward. So perfectly legal
Ireland conveyor belt still producing! Unbeaten at u20 6N since 2021. Not bad for our 4th sport!
Unfortunately for us. Complete chockers at World Cup and 6N seniors
@@countycricklewoodBack to back 6N champs…
I think we have established who the worst TMO. Linesmen are. How was that first English try awarded and how far and how many times must you be offside to get hit with a penalty? Great game though. Two great teams.
Ireland were the better rugby team but England had better front rowers starting and on the bench. Tighthead lock for both teams were monsters
What a GREAT GAME very WELL DONE to both teams.. 👏
Lots of talent coming through from both nations, i keep hearing that England don't have the talent but that's not what i see there are some tremendous prospects some in the age groups and others in their early twenties who just need game time and good coaching to flourish.
Wow. What a great game and amazing skills. England and Ireland are going to be strong in the future
I was at the game yesterday and the atmosphere and energy from both sides players and supporters really was amazing
I usually veer away from criticising the refs (bloody thankless job so fair play to them), but quite a lot of questionable calls against Ireland all match. Calling knock-ons when it came off knees, calling forward passes that were clearly backwards, and of course the double movement try.
But i guess the ref is still building experience at this level.
As a neutral I tend to agree. Ireland were hard done by on more than one occasion.
A novice ref in tomorrow's game also, will be hard for a ref not to favour home team at Twickenham in the 50/50 calls.
Don’t worry it’ll be balanced up later today.
@@geoffnelson6756he’s officiated 14 tests. And if you had actually watched him, you would know he tends to be a very good ref.
He called two knock ins against us that weren’t. I’d forgive him that as these thing swing both ways but where was the TMO for that first try.
fantastic game! congratulation to both teams🏴🇮🇪
Great performance by both teams.I was very impressed
Was that first try not a double movement?
Absolutely. Knees on the ground.
yh, criminal
Fair result by the looks of it. Cracking game with admirable skill levels given their age
What a game 🎉
I'm so confused and if I'm being silly please be kind, but why did the commentary say england have won the six nations with a game to spare 😮 okay but Ireland had a try bonus point and a losing bonus point if they lost. That would put Ireland at 16 points and England at 20 points with a game to go, so why did they think England won the championship if they beat ireland with a bonus point? Please explain and be nice about It thank you very much. 😊
You have probably analysed it far better than the commentators!
And also it doesn't show this in the highlights it's during the whole game and especially at the whistle when england thought it was over.
According to the table, there's one point between England and Ireland.
England 18
Ireland. 17
@jackdeegan3617 I Know but I'm talking about a what it if scenario, so when England thought they had won before the referee went back for the penalty the commentary said England have won the championship with a game to spare. However if the game ended then Ireland would have had a try and a losing bonus point, which would have put them on 16 points and England on 20. Throughout the game the commentary kept saying if they beat Ireland with a bonus point then they won the championship with a game spare. It makes no sense
I agree its a bit strange considering england need to play France away next round and Ireland are playing scotland at home so i think ireland will overtake england tbh but if england win against france with a bonus point then they will win because ireland didnt get a bonus point against italy @jasonroche709
Terrific game. Not often you get a draw.
Good match!!!
What a game! Fair end imo😊🏴☠☘
Great game
Eng seemed to pick big lads with fairly average skillset whilst the irish had smaller lads who were more speed/skill focused. It helps to explain why the senior teams for both nations are performing so differently
Tbf Ireland had some big lads aswell our no. 4 is 6'10 and 140kg
@user-is9of he was very poor and was the first forward to be taken off. Compared to the other irish forwards he was slow and offered no passing game
Thought we'd be in serious trouble without Brian Gleeson and Andrew Sparrow but fair play to the Irish lads for sticking in it.
This was a very physical game from two very passionate sides. I think the English will feel hard done by with the penalty at the end. A great game of rugby.
Double movement first English try and Second winger is ahead of the kicker
is that all you got from that game? seems like you only watched to pick at calls that were made?
Two bad calls leading to trys that denied Ireland a grand slam ya that's what I got from it bro
@@28copland need a tissue?
Young english kids propose a better game than Borthwick's team.. Amazing game from both team..👍👍🔥🔥
All the English lads running out on the pitch thinking they had it won 😂
The U20 Six Nations competition is more entertaining than the seniors.
Told Irish players to release knee to ground when English players knee didn’t touch the ground and the ball was stripped. Then gave England a penalty.
dreadful
That last advantage to Ireland was ridiculous. This law/rule needs to be changed as it seems unless the side with advantage score a try it goes back. They gained ground, went through lots of phases, advantage was more than over imo.
Ireland were the better team but England had the better tmo
England off the pace with their passing today under little pressure on the edge with overlaps. Didn’t use their forward dominance unfortunately.
Great for these lesser nations
Ireland unbeaten since 2021
Not sure where the Eng win the 6Ns comes from tbh. Just watched the Azzurri batter Scot & likely the wooden spoon. IRE will likely comfortably beat them w/ a bonus pt, so final total of 22 pts. ENG will do well to win away in FRA, so also end up w/ 22 pts. They'll need a bonus pt win in FRA to win it all.
Nope England won't win away in France because our national league are in pause this WE and therefore the best U20 are available to play against the brits...
There are 11 U20 world champions in the team for this game !
Swing low Sweet Chariot, but you know what you can do with your chariot 😂😂
Take a day off .
Get to a semis? “😂😂”
So funny. The commentators are so totally biased towards England have to laugh they are on the pitch thought that they had won. Never underestimate Ireland that’s why were the best suffer
The resilience in this Irish side is amazing.
Couldn't have said it better myself like on BBC I player they thought England had won the championship when the whistle blow for Irelands advantage. Even if Ireland lost they would be on 16 points with a try bonus and losing bonus point (less then 7 points) and England on 20 points with a game the go.
That’s only fair. It was also on Irish TV with Irish commentary which was pretty biased towards the Irish.
Just reflects the passion of the commentators!
Wow! Have you listened to rte?
Wayne Barnes? In the crowd at 6:22?
😂😂😂
good spot👍
What a game between the strongest teams in Europe!! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Ireland are the strongest. That’s it. Are you on the beer mate?
@wheelieking397Ireland aren't the strongest at age group level in Europe, France are as their recent record proves, both France and England don't have access to all their best age group players in the 6 nations unlike the other 4 nations, France have won the last 3 under 20s world cups so they are obviously the strongest at age group level when they have all their players available.
@@neilcarpenter2669Ireland clearly the strongest as they've won two grandslams in two years. World cup is every 4 years so a poor barometer on present form.
@@wheelieking3976England has a point of advantage, last match Ireland will play at home against Scotland,So will win the tournament
@@ggg-eg5pz Here it's the U20 and there is a World Championship every year (except when there was a pause due to covid travel restrictions)
Also you forgot that during the 6 Nations there's a pause in the Irish national tournament while in the french one they are still playing. So when Ireland has all the players available France as some of the best U20 in their clubs in top 14 ot Pro D2. In the last game against England and because theire is a pause in the French tournament there will be 11 U20 world Champions in the French team !
The referee tonight was shocking alot of bad calls
Appears? Eng er land have been taking lessons from the ridiculous Saracens when it comes to football player’s celebrations? Oh dear! Good game by both youngsters
Brain v Brawn
Imagine the rage in this comments section if Ireland had lost…
They were never going to lose because the Irish never give up.. Pure pride, guts and determination 💪🇮🇪☘️
The Aussie ref wasn’t very good to ireland he didn’t seem to know the offside law.
@@jamesmacoisdealbhaigh9904 Ireland has won in the U20 world championship last summer ?
What the hell is a UGN20?
It’s U6N20
It stands for Under 20 six nations
The 6 nations read’s between the Under 20 👍
💪🏼 great result grinded out by the youngsters….even better considering who it was against 🤌🏼
