which season were you there?
I went in April on the Easter weekend
You tell me: Where does a person go to buy a quick gallon of milk or groceries? Or a hardware store to get tools or something to repair their home? Or where is the garbage pickup? How about water? Do they drink safe water, or just water from the canals? Where do they get the gas or oil to heat their homes. How can a truck drive up to their homes to deliver a large object, like a refrigerator, or a sofa, or water heater?
There’s always way to do things - the trucks etc come to the road which links to smaller streets which have bridges so they aren’t really dependent on boats all the time. There’s also all sorts of of eateries and grocery shops nearby
Public transport is very easy in the netherlands, sad to hear this from someone who chooses a car over it.
I ALWAYS prefer public transport but in this instance it was not only far and very expensive, it was also impractical with at least 3 changes
