1:39 You can still keep and use the physical key as many, if not most, people will likely slip a key ring onto the V2 key fob at the provided key ring/lanyard attachment point. Personally, I have a key ring already attached to the physical key along with my house key, canopy key, mailbox key, etc. The vehicle key merely dangles with the rest of the keys. Simply slide the physical key out of the original key fob slot and attach your key ring onto the key ring/lanyard attachment point of your new V2 key fob. Problem solved.
I like them both (v1 & v2). But not a buyer because there is no real innovation. This is something I would only buy if it were 1/2 the form factor, or better yet 1/3. What matters to me in this space is, smaller in my front pocket than OEM. And I haven't found anything that does this today.
I'd have to go with the V1. Not only because I prefer the style over the V2, but having the actual key on hand is pretty important in my opinion.

Mine lasted 2 years I just got a new one. I really like it . But the life span is about 2 years.

I like the smaller footprint of the V2, but I feel the V1 would be the most practical purchase in my opinion.
This was my first mod as well for my 2021 LR Pro V1 all the way
problem is the damn key pops out of its lock and then the fob its self goes MIA
Do you have one for a 2021 that has to start with an actual key? No remote start, no push button start.
Why can't u make the v2 hold the key there is a custom version on it but it only works if u got the standard key
Wait…this doesn’t add horsepower?! What about the sticker that comes with it?? I have both and like them both, but prefer the V2.
The sticker is a performance enhancer but 🤫 few people know that part.
