"I'm just happy to be alive, man." Tucker, this was incredibly heartwarming. My dad and I shared a love for aviation, but I lost him to lung cancer back in 2004. He would be awe inspired with what I do now, and that's in part thanks to the inspiration you gave me, buddy. Great job sharing the joy of flying with Pete. Very meaningful and positive experience you gave him. Thank you for doing this and sharing his story.

Due to my chronic, severe depression ( i call it "cancer of the soul"), i almost completely lost the ability to enjoy things, well, literally anything. But i`m getting goosebumps watching this guy going through an experience, checking a box of his bucket list, something he will most likely never forget. I sincerely hope they find some treatment for him to at least stop his cancer from spreading. Greets from Germany.
I've been flying on paramotor about 5 months ago. I totally agree with that guy it is unreal and so beautiful. If you feel bad or have a depression just do it. Find a website with flights closest to you and just fly! It was awesome!
...and for a moment, he forgot the cares of this world, and his problems melted away if only for a few minutes. The joy is in the journey. Thanks Tucker.
I agree, but as a recent fight with cancer, I want to add He Felt alive! After my battle this is something I am striving to pursue and yes you are correct of the problems melting away but so much more as feeling alive and not just surviving is the goal. I use to run through the rain to my car, I now walk slowly and appreciate the smell and the rain because to deny that I am not taking the time to experience what life has to offer. I went through the motions for 48 years and now almost one year free of cancer (next month), God willing I choose to live and not just go through the motions. I am sorry I am very long winded as this is a passion of mine and hit so close to home. I am blubbering through it as it touched my soul and heart in what this means to me! When Pete said the doctor said are you ready... I will never forget that day my world fell apart... The day before my ongoing testing to make sure it is still gone is equally hard... however cancer saved my life. I now look at everything different and have such an appreciation for so many things that I missed before the cancer. I am now living because of cancer.
Avoided this video because I lost my mum to cancer way to early..finally I watched it, I am in pieces. Both you and Pete are an inspiration, hats off to you sirs!

well just like you I am not crying either. I am blubbering with tears of joy from my heart and soul. I was able to live this with Pete and Tucker Gott vicariously as Pete and I have both fought the good fight.

The dislikes will be because the gas tank didn't hold an extra 5 gals of flight time or they were losing daylight or something that makes the flight come to an end or that Jay Quelling wasn't in the Video : )

I can only describe cancer with expletives - so many people in my life are gone because of it, my mom included. Pete’s in our prayers for the longest life possible with the least suffering. I'm a believer in Jesus Christ who came to earth born as a baby to Mary and Joseph. Grew up teaching the redemption of sins, and gave his life for ALL who would Faith believing trust in him. You have produced a number of great videos in the past. This video; however, was different in a special way from your other videos. I could feel Pete's enthusiasm as if I were there. I was uplifted by Pete's excitement and gratitude as expressed verbally and through body language. Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
I have always enjoyed your videos because of how careful and diligent you are. You are thoughtful and deliberate and I have respected your mastery. You showed your heart when you took your mom out. You’re just so wholesome and authentic. You’re amazing even though I had tears down my face during this and can’t breathe now. Dang it.
Tucker i want to say this video was just incredible, I've been suffering for quite a while with my own inner demons. And its so hard sometimes when there is no simple solution to my problems. I'm trying to turn my life around but some days its hell just to build up the motivation to do anything. Then Pete comes along and I listen to his life and how hard things have been and want to wish him all the best and I'm praying he does well with his illness. Seeing Peters face in the video made me cry he looked like the whole world was lifted off his shoulders and all of a sudden its surrounded him on this amazing flight. Life is shorter than we think and no matter how hard things get try try try to be the best you can be while your here no one is promised tomorrow but this video showed me that if you want something bad enough and you work hard you can make it happen. Tucker Gott your a wonderful person. Thank you for this beautiful video.
He mentioned it but Keytrueda or however you spell it saved my mothers life. At 42 she was diagnosed with stage 4 brain and lung cancer unexpectedly just had a random seizure. I will always be thankful to KU Medical Center for saving my mothers life between her brain surgery then 3 years of treatment.

I have been following your videos now for 3 years and have to say this has to be the best in terms of content, explaining the experience and just showing how a sport touches the heart strings. When you get to that point when you get a chance to ‘give back’ in a sport it makes every second of the journey to that point, worth it. One day, and soon i hope, I’ll be taking up the sport. Tucker, I've been watching you for about 3Yrs, at least. I enjoy the Gliders so much. Wish I had one of those trikes. Pete mentioned he wasn't very spiritual I think is how he said it. I'm a believer in Jesus Christ who came to earth born as a baby to Mary and Joseph. Grew up teaching the redemption of sins, and gave his life for ALL who would Faith believing trust in him. This is were I get my strength day by day. This will be a Blessing to you and Pete both. May give him the boost he needs to fight harder. Thank you tucker for sharing this with us all. I have always enjoyed your videos because of how careful and diligent you are. You are thoughtful and deliberate and I have respected your mastery. You showed your heart when you took your mom out. Tucker i want to say this video was just incredible, I've been suffering for quite a while with my own inner demons. And its so hard sometimes when there is no simple solution to my problems. I'm trying to turn my life around but some days its hell just to build up the motivation to do anything. Then Pete comes along and I listen to his life and how hard things have been and want to wish him all the best and I'm praying he does well with his illness. Seeing Peters face in the video made me cry he looked like the whole world was lifted off his shoulders and all of a sudden its surrounded him on this amazing flight. Life is shorter than we think and no matter how hard things get try try try to be the best you can be while your here no one is promised tomorrow but this video showed me that if you want something bad enough and you work hard you can make it happen. Tucker Gott your a wonderful person. Thank you for this beautiful video.

He mentioned it but Keytrueda or however you spell it saved my mothers life. At 42 she was diagnosed with stage 4 brain and lung cancer unexpectedly just had a random seizure. I will always be thankful to KU Medical Center for saving my mothers life between her brain surgery then 3 years of treatment.

I am so happy that you did show this. I am a man that get sick to early in life, and know how important this moment is. I am so happy that Pete get this journey. I have been following your videos now for 3 years and have to say this has to be the best in terms of content, explaining the experience and just showing how a sport touches the heart strings. When you get to that point when you get a chance to ‘give back’ in a sport it makes every second of the journey to that point, worth it. One day, and soon i hope, I’ll be taking up the sport.
