Finally. Someone who actually make it look like a custom bike (even tough it's a factory chopper) I see most if not all of the Furys with all the backed out crap on them which to me makes them look cheap. Nice job!!!
Painter D. It's s mater of personal taste. The Fury is about the American chopper which are butchered or cobbled together or just individual ideas of being on a freedom machine. WW ll vets started this concept in the USA. (Hells Angels Founded By Same) I don't care for some things like rat bikes or as you say blacked out motorcycles. But one thing for sure and no matter what if your riding your new or old piece with the wind in your face that's what it's all about. The Fury was 5 years in development, it looks great out of the box, and it's a two wheeler with the potential for modification customization and blacked out butchery. But that's what it's all about it the land of Lucas electrics, a 49 state FURY in Canada or a California model while the rest are 49 state models.
Sadly you can’t get them anymore. Frank Serrano left fabrication and went to work for someone else. I can tell you they chroming service he used was garbage!
Dayna might be cheaper. I fell in love the fury but the basic model is just that, basic. I've sunk lots into getting it looking like this and I still haven't finished!
How so? The dyna model I plan to get is $20k after taxes. Fury is 13k after taxes. I only plan to upgrade exhaust, crash bars, and add mini apes to fury. I'm ok with basic.
Man, I LOVE This Bike. I wish I had it, the style on it id perfect, and sound is Nice. This was 9 Years ago. how is it holding up. Have You sold it? If Not Do you Want to? Great work on it either way. Looks Lovely.
Still looks the same. I want to change to chrome wheels and extend the forks with a 32deg rake but that made it difficult to insure. It’s a show piece, as i have others to ride, so it’s mileage is still under 3,500. I have toyed with selling her but heart overrules head. Maybe at some point in the future.
@@layhervamp Well, It is a Wonderful Bike. I am a Disabled U.S Vet, So I Probably couldn't afford it with all the work you have done to it. I had a Show Bike once. It Got stolen, with my other bike as well. So I guess I am just Missing the Show bike look. the head turns, and the chrome. Dont miss all the polishing lol, but I still miss the look and sound. Either way, I love it. If you do Decide to sell it, Perhaps hit me up on here. I can see you love the bike and that it has been taken care of. if you extend the forks, ( BTW great Idea), Id love to see a Video on it, Where you ordered the extensions, Install, Etc...Thanks again
@@LALATheClown I’m a UK vet myself so don’t ride as often as I’d like due to hand injuries. I’ve bought most of the parts from the States, and changed the look of the bike several times to get it to this look, so I’ve spent a fair chunk on it.
Does the engine make enough power? Does it accelerate fast ? And is it good on highways? Keep in mind I'm 6' 240lbs and is there aftermarket metal for all the dam! Plastic?
Doesn’t work in the UK, a wide tyre kit would make it uninsurable. Plus check out the air suspension, it can be lowered it just won’t be a comfortable ride and would crash out on our pot holed roads
The foot controls aren’t the forward set, there the standard ones but their still a stretch for me and I’m 5’7”. Your question about the exhaust is mute as you can longer get them, Frank Serrano gave up the game and went back to being an employee at a machine shop. My bike is 9 years old and passes mot every time it’s presented.
Always wanted a harley .but after i seen the fury there's no way in hell.mabe harley will make a bike that people really want all I see is old man over weight over priced bikes i like some of the older bikes.i hate to see em go but the writing is on the wall.
@@layhervamp here in us there way over priced but I have noticed the used ones are not Holden there value so much.i like em but just think the competition has way better bikes at this point
Richard Shirley, your lucky. It flopped in the UK and only made 200ish sales in 2010+2011, after which Honda pulled the model. There still selling for £7-8k second hand over here, if you can find one, and more if they’ve been done up!
Rich Harley can't make this sort of ride. Not knocking Harley at all, but their thinking and market drive their looks and the Harley sound. Technology and it's changes for Harley are an issue but I hope they adapt as thsts what it's all about. The Fury is a departure from Honda's technology, practicality and maybe dogma and while advanced in technology they are conservative is some ways. Never the less the Fury is a California American Honda Driven and American Honda R&D DEVELOPED motorcycle. I see the detail in this FURY and pride and dedication but I don't see a daily driver or it being practical. I ride a 2010 Matt Metaluc Silver model and it's ridden year round. Layhervamps attention to detail is amazing and for a Brit having to import American custom parts I'm amazed at his accomplishments. His FURY sounds amazing and while it's not exactly my cup of tea, kudos to a fantastic job on an American concept that became reality. I believe the Fury has grown in popularity especially in the USA and it's the 1st Unchanged motorcycle from Honda to be in production for 10 years. Hope I'm still swinging my leg over mine when I'm 80.
@@layhervamp with some imagination and a machine shop you. Could make anything you want. All that accutronix stuff is too expensive in my opinion also everyone does that. Make it your own. Triumph speed master or their bobber is an excellent alt.and available to you UK guys. Kinda wish I had gone that route myself.

Hello my friend! you have a very nice MC! can you tell me how i can get this exhaust that you have?

Sadly you can’t get them anymore. Frank Serrano left fabrication and went to work for someone else. I can tell you they chroming service he used was garbage!
Cheers Steve, it's been a labour of love. Not finished yet though, got more plans for this year.
Keep it up. Looks great.
Sexy bike!
I was set on getting a Harley dyna but after seeing fury videos I just might get this instead.

Good looking Fury. Looks like you might have to be a little careful after a long ride pulling/putting that key in
Bad ass man

Wow awesome looking bike. Cheers
Abdul Alkurdi thanks bud. Still a work in progress.

Sorry for the delay responding. I've had 120 out of it.
What I would still do I would lower the back I put a wider Tire on it and I with customize my back fender

May I ask is this exhaust pipe legal for the UK road? and I am 5'5, can I reach out to the forwarding foot control on the pedal to change gear?
