Then in the next scene says he's going to wait 9 hours (since he hadn't figured out the exact range of her time limit he guessed on the high end just to be safe) and then he was going to blow up their base...with her still in it. So while she'll never actually die, she'll be forced to rewind to a time where she was already asleep and can no longer do anything, meaning she'll never escape the explosion and just be forced to lay there on the ground dying in an endless loop.
The smile of Lelouch in here is the gentlest in all of this anime. And these two are the coldest characters with the highest IQ in here. But their "I'm back, C.C" and "Welcome home, Lelouch" sound so soft.

I am genuinely happy that we got to see their story end with them together. I still think lelouch is now immortal as well however I'm happy he realized her feelings and ultimately realized his own feelings for her❤
The one thing I always liked about lulu is his brilliance. He's a lot like Paul Atreides from the Dune Saga, just with less superpowers. He may not be prescient, but he was smart enough to stay 10 steps ahead of his enemies while simultaneously leading humanity down a golden path of peace. And lulu didn't end up killing countless innocent lives in a holy war.

I am genuinely happy that we got to see their story end with them together. I still think lelouch is now immortal as well however I'm happy he realized her feelings and ultimately realized his own feelings for her❤
The one thing I always liked about lulu is his brilliance. He's a lot like Paul Atreides from the Dune Saga, just with less superpowers. He may not be prescient, but he was smart enough to stay 10 steps ahead of his enemies while simultaneously leading humanity down a golden path of peace. And lulu didn't end up killing countless innocent lives in a holy war.
I just _knew_ we hadn’t seen the last of that damn bastard. That last scene at the end of the show where C.C. is literally talking to him while staring at the sky was a dead giveaway.
