The wall that she draws on still has crosses in season 2. Neat little easter egg i noticed. Probably not under geass anymore
No she's still under geass she just can't fulfill the order anymore. She's in North America during season 2 and tries to go to Japan every night due to time difference. All in all lelouch messed up her life because he wanted to see how long people would carry out an order for.
When Jeremiah was wiping out Geass effects in R2, he probably got her, but yeah, she probably was doing it for a long time

It's almost poetic that the last person Lelouch used his Geass on was Nunnally. I feels like by twisting the very person he fought for all this time in order to achieve his larger goal, this is his ultimate declaration of how the ends justify the means

Yeah, and the fact that Nunnally had her eyes closed for the majority of the show complements Lelouch’s geass only working with direct eye content. It’s interesting how the show elements deliberately fit together

Never understood why he didn’t simply put the command “do my bidding whenever I ask” to everyone so that he could circumvent the one command rule. But I guess that as Geass gives to every weilder a power that stems from their most intimate desire, he was to proud to let even Geass to be the sole reason of his success. Lelouch had somehow to prove himself he could reach his purpose even without his power.
That is part of the reason why but it wasn't his main justification. Ironically, lelouch valued free will. Like the way he told anyone at narita who didn't trust him to just shoot him and the way he told kallen she could leave without him trying to stop her
Lelouch is obviously a hypocrite for even using his powers but this show did not try to hide the fact that lelouch would do almost anything to achieve his goals
This is all ignoring the practical reasons he had for not using his geass. For one thing lelouch did not know how if there was an upper limit to how many people he could control at one time, opening him up to the risk that he may not be able to control everyone at once. Secondly, geass appears to impede problem solving or just generally make its victims somewhat mindless. Brainless puppets would make bad soldiers against a foe as powerful as brittania. Third, he had to be incredibly specific with his commands because he could only ever use his grass on a person once. The possibility of a loophole, misunderstanding or bug in the way they follow his orders could prove unpredictably catastrophic, something he cannot afford

As the Emperor, Lelouch says to an entire room of Britanian soldiers "Become my Slaves" and they do exactly that.
As said in the comment above, it's not very nice to take someone's entire will to live their lives away when all you want them to do is to hand over something to you or "Give me your robot".
He didn't because, that would ruin the show and it wouldn't have ended the way it did...

I just realized that geass chages , at the beginning, it was just a small part of the puple, eventually became his iris, and than hi whole eye, than the area around it turns purple, and than it took control, unable to turn it off, eventually, it grows in r2 with the area around the geass flowing, than the geass starts flowing, it transferred to the other eye. Geass doesn't just have the three stages, it's kind of like a susano'o
not really tbh, the first geass ever used was normal sized. it's just that the one he used with the blue haired girl (idr her name, something like chitase) was intentionally made small, probably a simple experiment by the artists to find out which one looks better
edit: and yes, it does look slightly bigger, but that's because the art style evolved and the eyes were made bigger as a whole. lelouch in first ep had weird eyes and now they're round and sharp

When she realizes Suzaku was Japanese, her geass kicked in but she loved suzaku so much that she didn’t wish death upon him so she fought the thought of killing Japanese, thus breaking the geass. If she didn’t break the geass, she would’ve been trying to kill suzaku with all of her might until she died, that’s how mind control works buddy.

The thing that scares me the most is the fact that Lelouch doesn't hesitate to use Geass no matter how important the person is. It shows that he's confident that his plans would work /he'll always find a way to devise a plan in the future without having to use geass

The geass that hurt the most was the one that received Euphemia. It is traumatizing to see that scene and see her force her to do something that is completely contrary to her virtues. It is as if she had been raped in her mind. Turn someone pure into impure, a good person in a bad one, an innocent person in a criminal, a holy person in a sinner, an angel into a demon. And to top it off we see that she resists, that she doesn't want to do that, but can't, she is forced. This is unforgivable. It is impossible to believe that Susaku has forgiven Lelouch for that vile and despicable act. Nunnally also resists Geass, but at least she is not forced to do something as horrible as what Euphemia does.
U sounds like nina for christ's sake. It IS sad. But Zero requiem prolly made suzaku to forgive lelouch. Also lelouch didnt purposely cast the geass on euphemia. He would never.

You forgot about Lelouch using his geass on himself, there were more times Rollo used geass (for example the time everyone thought he has some super mecha, but it was his geass)
