My first experience of Frozen 2 was great. To me, this was a good Disney sequel that made it to the big screen. My favorite moment was the “Show Yourself” sequence, which was the most ambitious part of the film that the creators worked on, according to the documentary. It actually made me tear up because of how wonderful the song was and how well done the animation looks. Also, credit goes to “Into the Unknown” as well, I love the voice of Iduna echoing as Elsa sings her heart out.
You should react to the two Frozen short movies such as "Frozen Fever" and "Olaf's Frozen Adventure". It shows Anna and Elsa's relationship before the Frozen 2 movie and they were really popular when they came out and because you enjoyed their sisterly bond in the first movie wanting to see how they have bond after the movie. If not reacting to it, then I encourage you to watch it on your own it's very enjoyable! One of the shorts being almost 30 minutes long and the other almost 10 minutes long.

Into the unknown became one of the most pervasive earworms I have ever experienced. I literally heard that haunting call in my dreams like Elsa did. No word of a lie. I had to pray for it to stop because I couldn't get any sleep. Thankfully, it did, and since then, it hasn't had the same effect when I hear it, mainly because I make a conscious effort to block it from my memory. Lmao, scary stuff... she is a witch, after all.
And the part at the end of the song especially to me the voice of Elsa and Anna's mother Iduna sounded like she makes the classic tune from the Disney logo when Tinkerbell shoots over the top of Cinderella's castle

The most amazing fact about this movies is that it’s one of the first major movies which took inspiration from the Sámi people (the Northuldra people have among other things, Sámi inspired clothes and they live close with reindeer, and Kristoff is considered a real Sámi), AND the first major movie to get a Sámi dub made for it! The Sámi are the Indigenous people of the northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. We are less than 100 000 people left, and even less that know the language. It’s mostly because of the so called “Norwegianization” which took place from around the 1850s all the way to the 1980s, where the Norwegian government forced the Sámi people to basically abandon and get rid of their language and culture. If it wasn’t for the “Norwegianization” then my mother language would most likely be Sámi, and not Norwegian. Thankfully in recent years we’ve gotten our rights back, and people are still working hard to once again learn the language and culture.
Possibly an unpopular opinion but i actually prefer this movie to the first one (i do love the first one), i wish we got to see a little more of young King Agnar and Queen Iduna though.
You know something sad I realized. Elsa’s powers were meant to be a gift and a reward for her mother’s good deed, but instead it was treated as a curse and she was locked away for most of her life for something that could have been such a good thing if her parents had been able to see the good in it (not crapping on her parents of course, because frankly accidentally almost resulting in your sister’s death is pretty hard to ignore, even if they did handle it the wrong way).
I’m so lucky enough to meet the both directors and get to know them a bit. They are Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck. They are absolutely talented and I just heard that Jennifer Lee is now taking over Frozen III.
loved this film, the Nokk was just stunning and i went back a second time to see it on the big screen. I didn't love the ending though, i think that Arendale should have been destroyed, then rebuilt with the north uldra and arendellians together. A statue wont end division and racism, and it feels like as a person with indigenous ancestry, that everything was just wrapped up nicely for "our" characters, yet when Anna is queen we see no Northuldra peoples there which makes me feel like the division is still alive and well. Especially since the arrandellians had believed the north uldra murdered their king and betrayed them for like, 40 years. But then, i watched the making of for frozen 2 and could see there was not too much thought or time to flesh these themes out in the movie. Maybe the next one we will get a better resolution for indigenous representation.
I didn't realise until recently that the lore about the Enchanted Forest is from the series Once Upon A Time! And this movie came out after that point in the series, so cool. Pls react to that series, you'll love it.
If you haven't done this yet, look up the song 'Get This Right'. This was originally going to be Kristoff's love ballad to Anna and I really wish they'd kept it in because it's easily the best song on the soundtrack.
The music from this film is incredible. I still get so emotional every time I listen to the soundtrack. Especially with Show Yourself and The Next Right Thing.
How long has it been since the first movie? 7 years, I’m not just talking about the movie itself. And yeah about how Olaf doesn’t have a cloud anymore, he was originally going to have a scene where he sings about him being unmeltable, but it was cut. But the song is still available, so is the storyboard on TH-cam somewhere. The song is called, “unmeltable me”.
I was kinda hoping in this second movie that Anna & Elsa would've discovered that their parents may not have died after all, like during that scene when they found their parent's ship. Also Kristoff's song sounded like an 80's soft rock ballad.
The song Kristoff sings later in this movie is great but the animation is hilarious. Anybody who grew up in the 80's can clearly see the animation is in the style of a music video. Its really clever how its done.
Nick. Happy to see your watch along of this movie and your genuine reactions. Honestly I am right there with you in honestly loving this movie even more than the first one. For me it had a better, and more consistently good, soundtrack. As well as just hitting more emotional moments and payoffs. :) Keep up the good work okay.
when this movie came out, i watched it, like, 5 times in one month... that's how much i liked it. It is so much more mature and darker than the first one. Fun fact: Elsa's fate was also much darker initially. She was going to die, but they thought it would be too dark for a "children's" movie
Idk I feel SO HAPPY to see you enjoy the songs so much because I LOVE THEM TOO, Into the Unknown and Show Yourself are my absolute favourite songs 💙💙💙💙
This movie made me cry, but not for the obvious reasons- I started crying when Show Yourself started playing because the lyrics, I felt they were about me. Mulan may be my fav Disney char, but Elsa is the most like me and I found her story parallels mine so much that when that duet with her mom and herself happened, I was full blown crying when the line, "I am found!" was sung because I did have that moment of revelation myself of finding out who I was. This song is one of my fav songs PERIOD now. Overall I do like this movie more than the original because it felt like an actual adventure. Oh Kristoff singing in the woods in the form of a Boy Band song was genius too lol. I did want to know where Elsa's power came from since the first movie. Having 1 magical being without explanation bothered me a bit so I am happy this movie answered that and I was satisfied with the ending too because while yes Elsa isn't queen again, she found her true calling. These things happen when you feel like a square peg trying to fit into a circle.
I absolutely love this one more then the first but the first still holds up 100% ❤ my favorite song is "show yourself" Elsa's second song/new transition into her new self. I absolutely loved your reaction!!!! ❤❤
Glad you like this movie and i got a lot of chills from the songs from watching this and when me and my family watched this in theaters. Also the deleted scene "Get this right" is a lot better for Kristoff and Anna relationship.
Since Frozen was around the film had its own world in the Kingdom Hearts series which the first game to feature frozen was Kingdom Hearts 3 the game came out the same year as frozen 2 and KH3 also feature Toy Story also Toy Story 4 came out same year as the game as well back in 2019
I remember seeing this film in the theatre which is rare for me because I don’t usually go to the theatre. I wait until it’s on streaming or just let someone spoil it but after this film I still think Sven is my favourite character
Yeah, even a part of it the three reindeer singing backup in partial shadow is an homage to the video for one of their most famous songs… watch it again. 😉
Yet another Disney movie that just emotionally destroys me XD They are VERY good at doing that! Into the Unknown and The Next Right Thing are definitely some of the most powerful songs in it, but... in a weird way, Lost in the Woods was one that connected with me on a very personal level, and I feel Kristoff's pain with that one very viscerally. My soon-to-be ex-wife... has really never put me first in her mind, and it... has often left me feeling lost in the woods like Kristoff. When she gets going on a project, 100% of her mental drive goes into it, and I'm just left to follow along in her wake, expected to tend to everything that she no longer has time or mental bandwidth for. All while she becomes aggressively focused on her task. It's not the core reason that we're going to be going our separate ways, but it has definitely played a big part in the overall equation. It's also why this movie will always hold an extra layer of significance for me.
recently I have been listening to one of the songs “Lost in the Woods” I just cannot stop listening to it for like 3 months starting in April, but great reaction, Nick ❤
40:33 I’m glad 🙂 Elsa is the fifth element and saves Arandelle. 41:26 congratulations 🎉🎊🎈 Kristoff. 41:54 queen 👸🏻 Anna 43:13 the chances are we’ll get frozen 🥶 3 and 4 in the next 5 to 10 years.
I love this movie and all the songs- but after watching it many, many times with my girls...the plot has so many loopholes and creates more questions than answers lol. Nevertheless I enjoy it (as a 33yr old mama) and I'll always listen to anything Idina Menzel sings. Loved your reaction Nick!
I cannot wait until you eventually get to Descendants, one of Disney's most underrated movies. I also love this movie though, better than the first for me.
I haven’t seen the sequel before as I was about to watch The Rise of Skywalker. But I will start watching these two Frozen films before the third film releases in 2027.
Funny enough, at 33:02, I feel that it's not just the reaction to how everyone was over hearing "let it go" but it reminds me of how when I learned how much everyone loved Somewhere Out There from an American Tail but by the time the sequel came out An American Tail Fievel Goes West they had a moment where Fievel's Sister Tanya was singing it but everyone (not her family) wanted her to stop.
This movie had a super rushed production, and its not my favorite but there's definitely some great parts about it! Show Yourself is such a great song that I find myself still listening to and they didn't do a terrible job of expanding the world. There was a deleted song between Kristoff and Anna called Get This Right (the storyboard is still on TH-cam if you search!) where Kristoff is trying to propose, that I kind of wish they had included! I didn't love what they did with Anna in this movie, with her always thinking of Kristoff's words in a bad way? Considering they're been together for 3 years at this point, you'd think she knows him better and its not like the first movie? That being said, I still thought Kristoff's song was really funny when I watched in theaters! I think the movie was overall ok but I'm really looking forward to Frozen 3 where there seems to be an outside threat to Arendelle! I think it'll be interesting.
The documentary for this lets me cut this movie some slack. It had a great vibe and music, but I hope they give the creatives more control for the sequels.
Hey, Nick, do you plan on reacting to Minions 2 and Despicable Me 4? The latter is already out on digital, and there's a third Minions movie in development at Illumination. Speaking of sequels, still waiting for you to react to Happy Feet Two, Brother Bear 2, An Extremely Goofy Movie, The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part (as well as the spin-off, The Lego Batman Movie) and Space Jam: A New Legacy (you should react to Looney Tunes: Back in Action too, speaking of which). I saw you reacting to Kung Fu Panda 4 with It's Totally Cody on its channel. Also, I saw you placed the Rio movies on your Disney playlist. I mean, I obviously don't wanna force you to do anything and I am sorry if I am sounding rude, I really try to be as polite as I can, but I personally feel like it would have been way more appropriate to make a Blue Sky list, since you have reacted to the first four Ice Age movies, both Rio movies, Robots and Nimona, by the way, yes, Nimona is a Blue Sky movie, it was 75% finished when Disney shut down the studio, Netflix and Annapurna just finished the movie with DNEG (the same studio who animated Ron's Gone Wrong and The Garfield Movie) providing the animation.
I love both films equally, although I appreciate how they gave more depth to this one. The story, songs, and the character developments were phenomenal! I love how in the end their mother’s kindness was rewarded not just by love but a brighter future for her and her husband’s people. It’s amazing how Elsa and Anna were both meant to be on a different path but to also be the bridge for both of their peoples. Into the Unknown and Show Yourself are masterpieces along with Lost in the Woods and The Next Right Thing. 👩🏻🦳👩🏻🦰👱🏻🦌⛄️ 🌪🔥🌊🪨❄️ 💜🩷💙🩵🤍
Frozen 2 was pretty solid! The plot does get a bit confused (mostly because a lot was clearly edited out), but the animation is still gorgeous, some of the humor works, and I actually preferred the soundtrack for this movie than the first film's. Let’s see how Frozen III and IV turn out.
I think it’s only been a year since It’s only been 6 years since the parents died and Anna and Elsa tell the people in the forest that’s how long it’s been since then.
. . . . . . Soooo about frozen 2 ❤Love your reaction of course. Opinion: They r u i n e d frozen 1 with this, the plot makes no sense, elsa leaving again alone makes no sense, anna as queen makes no sense expecally after she decided to sacrifice and destr0y all arendelle just by trust 4 strangers words without know facts and that elsa would save arendelle coming back, anna chose to destr0y arendelle and she then became queen? Cmon. Frozen 2 is a disast3r,totally changed the original story of the sisters for let them live again separeted and alone after them were apart all them life for fault of those t3rribl3 parents choices? And then the parents turn into good ones and not anymore as t0xic parents? They were so unique in disney as t0xic parents to show to kids, that those kind of parents exist too,and they removed that. Also they split completely the dreams and personality of the 2 sisters, anna want to travel away from the kingdom and stay outside and never wanted to be queen (they say that in every book before frozen 2) cause she know elsa was the best choice for arendelle(anna even say that in a canon book),anna hat3s the idea of rule and do papers there trapp3d in the castle walls, elsa want3d to be free from Fear and live happy as queen in her own kingdom, loved by everyone, she love stay in the comfy castle,is elegant and loves reading her books with tea there, and they removed all she had and send her away, finally at the end of frozen 1 she is free and happy to do the role of queen she studied for,but no,anna now is in trap at arendelle without even know how to rule it(as we saw in the comics and books elsa try to teach her after frozen 2,after the movie Elsa almost never appear with her sister in the comics) and elsa is again away from ber home, her sister, her family and alone in a t0mb of ice.... I'm a huge fan of frozen 1,a have everything of that movie,i know everything of that movie, and they ruin3d the possible saga with this... I still hope they fix the mistakes in frozen 3 and 4,but I have 0 hope cause jen lee is again the director and she don't know how to write anything, she costed disney also one of them w0rst movie fl0ps with "a wrinkle in time". And she is the one that decided to do all that t3rribl3 live actions, and also suggested to split apart woody and the group in toy story 4... Frozen 2 grafic is stunning, technically is amazing, but they destr0yed frozen 1 meaning and entire plot go against that, they ruin3d my beloved frozen... and now they are doing moana 2 that looks like the copy of frozen 2,she have a sister too,she hear a thing calling her in this island lonely place...and they will sure do something b4d for moana too... Also funny thing,if you watch that t3rribl3 documentary they did about frozen 2, "the making of frozen 2", you notice that everyone there didn't understood a single thing of the plot and what is going on in the movie, they don't know, everyone said a different thing of what happpens with the voice calling etc. Also they colored the entire documentary with talking for let you believe they did a masterpiece when the plot makes no sense. Jen lee wanted to k!ll elsa forever in the original ending, but then at disney they said was a t3rribl3 idea and changed the entire movie ending at the last minute, and you can see that in the official artbook. You can notice that anna in the ending comes out from a tent, not the castle, cause the entire kingdom in the original idea was destr0yed by the choice of anna, and elsa was de4d and couldnt save her people... So actual ending? Elsa and anna again separeted, elsa again alone away from home, anna in a position of rule that she never wanted before, elsa without her sister and her beloved kingdom that loved her so much for 3 years... basically we are back at the beginning of frozen 1 were the sisters were sad and alone. Great! I don't think people notice how bad this was,how pointl3ss is,how nonsense. They are just happy cause elsa looks free and anna happy because jen lee random decided that without plot logic and taking count of personality of the characters. I'm still sad after all those years....Imagine... Is crazy the amount of people in the fandom of frozen that h4t3d this movie, the fandom is disintagrated since the release of it,I saw it born and be amazing and be ruin3d by the nonsense plot. Is really empressive the amount of people in the fandom that totally rej3ct the canon of frozen 2,that thanks is not canon cause only the first movies of classics of disney are. Anyway of course movie have great songs and the moments of Queen Elsa are for sure the best in frozen 2.❤ Sorry the grammar of not english...

Loved the " Do you want to build a snowman?" callback :)
I juat want you to know you are AMAZING! I look forward to your reactions!! You have such a great Aura!
Thank you for being you!!!
No one could beat Josh Gad on being Olaf he’s amazing!
During Some Things Never Change, there's several instances of things changing, to further highlight the theme of the movie.
Love your reactions so much Nick!
I'm so happy you're back! You're by far my favorite reactor because your reactions are always so real and emotional ♥️
I was kinda hoping in this second movie that Anna & Elsa would've discovered that their parents may not have died after all, like during that scene when they found their parent's ship. Also Kristoff's song sounded like an 80's soft rock ballad.
Yes, it was definitely an homage to 80s rock band ballads, and their music videos.
@@HeatherDeweyPettet Exactly my point!😉
The song Kristoff sings later in this movie is great but the animation is hilarious. Anybody who grew up in the 80's can clearly see the animation is in the style of a music video. Its really clever how its done.
I can’t wait for Frozen 3 & 4. They are supposed to be watched together since Frozen 3 will end on a cliffhanger and tie into the 4th one.
Hot take: this one is also my favorite of the two. By a lot. I LOVE the songs and all the elemental magic used.
The CHILLS this movie elicits! Thanks so much for your reactions as always!
I love almost every song in this movie except some things never change. Can't wait for this reaction Nick!
Idk I feel SO HAPPY to see you enjoy the songs so much because I LOVE THEM TOO, Into the Unknown and Show Yourself are my absolute favourite songs 💙💙💙💙
A great sequel
This is just as good as the first one, the music gets to me❤❤❤
Glad you like this movie and i got a lot of chills from the songs from watching this and when me and my family watched this in theaters.
Also the deleted scene "Get this right" is a lot better for Kristoff and Anna relationship.
Since Frozen was around the film had its own world in the Kingdom Hearts series which the first game to feature frozen was Kingdom Hearts 3 the game came out the same year as frozen 2 and KH3 also feature Toy Story also Toy Story 4 came out same year as the game as well back in 2019
Awwww yayyyyy I love the second one so much and i remember Olaf die but they bring him back to life but you really need to watch home on the range
I remember seeing this film in the theatre which is rare for me because I don’t usually go to the theatre. I wait until it’s on streaming or just let someone spoil it but after this film I still think Sven is my favourite character
So exciting for you to watch this💗
Christoff's song reminds me of Queen.
Yeah, even a part of it the three reindeer singing backup in partial shadow is an homage to the video for one of their most famous songs… watch it again. 😉
I thought of Chicago or Journey. 😊
That little salamanders name is Bruni, so cute.
40:33 I’m glad 🙂 Elsa is the fifth element and saves Arandelle. 41:26 congratulations 🎉🎊🎈 Kristoff. 41:54 queen 👸🏻 Anna 43:13 the chances are we’ll get frozen 🥶 3 and 4 in the next 5 to 10 years.
They are working on a third movie but I love this better than the first. Like I liked the first but this one was better.
Frozen is such a good franchise. Can’t wait for Frozen 3. I’m hoping to see that maybe Anna and Elsa have a brother.
Frozen 2 has a lot of great new characters.
I highly recommend you watch Frozen Fever and the other shorts if you haven’t yet, they’re really fun and sweet!
I haven’t seen the sequel before as I was about to watch The Rise of Skywalker. But I will start watching these two Frozen films before the third film releases in 2027.
"it was such by a bunch of guys" lmao panic at the disco?
Hey Nick? I saw you had Deadpool in your Patreon and was wondering when it'll be dropping on TH-cam?
If you like Frozen songs, you should also check out the shorts "Frozen Fever" and "Olaf's Frozen Adventure". They take place between Frozen 1 and 2.
one of my fave movies of all time! Definitely surpassed the first one in my opinion. Also, the third one is coming in 2027
Hahaha, how could you forget Kristoff was in there? 😂🤣
Also, you didn’t see the hidden scene after the credits 😢
You should really react to Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. My favorite musical, and where I got my name!
This one is AWESOME
Can you react to The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad?
The second segment is my favorite Halloween Special

She is a Broadway singer
Frozen 3 is in development.
Sisters torn apart well at least they have their parents
their parents are ("dead.")
I hope they do a another movie in the future
Have you seen descendants or raise of the red😊
Nick, please react to Descendants 1, 2, 3 and 4.
They will be coming to TH-cam soon!!
@@nickflix8657 I so cannot wait!!😁😁😁
Frozen 2 was pretty solid! The plot does get a bit confused (mostly because a lot was clearly edited out), but the animation is still gorgeous, some of the humor works, and I actually preferred the soundtrack for this movie than the first film's. Let’s see how Frozen III and IV turn out.
You missed the post credit scene!
Sorry I watched it after the reaction!!
@@nickflix8657 you also missed the one in Ralph breaks in internet where they show a special sneak peek of frozen 2
Hey nick, I just wanted to ask if you were still doing hazbin hotel
5:35 It has been 3 years since the first movie!
I think it’s only been a year since
It’s only been 6 years since the parents died and Anna and Elsa tell the people in the forest that’s how long it’s been since then.
@@RosieTheWickedFangirl2007 I searched it up just now to confirm it and it says “Frozen 2 takes place 3 years after the events of the first film”

Oh ok.
Maybe my mind was going on backwards.

Soooo about frozen 2
❤Love your reaction of course.
Opinion:
They r u i n e d frozen 1 with this, the plot makes no sense, elsa leaving again alone makes no sense, anna as queen makes no sense expecally after she decided to sacrifice and destr0y all arendelle just by trust 4 strangers words without know facts and that elsa would save arendelle coming back, anna chose to destr0y arendelle and she then became queen?
Anyway of course movie have great songs and the moments of Queen Elsa are for sure the best in frozen 2.❤
Sorry the grammar of not english...
it is my first time seeing this movie and is kinda better than number 1 but I never really was a fan of frozen.
I love this video I hope you reply ❤
