Another safe jump setup you can do is whenever the opponent is crumpled (like punish counter st. hk or drive impact. also an OD denjin charged hashogeki.) you can wait until they fall on their knees into crouch heavy punch Heavy donkey kick (theoretically you can dash forward into it for auto timing but I haven't tested it as Ryu. Works for some other characters though). If you juggle into Heavy donkey kick like from EX tatsu I think it also gives a safe jump. Added benefit of using denjin charge on hashogeki is that in some setups you can get a meaty light hadouken afterwards which beats JP counter and other reversals like Luke lvl1.
While you do have to keep parry in mind, the point of a safe jump is that if your opponent blocks the attack, you're really plus, and if they attempt a reversal you are timed in such a way that you can land and block before the hitbox of the reversal comes out, and punish them.

Oh yeah thanks man! Good to know. I just learned this one a few weeks ago lol.
you're giving up the light dp at the end of the combo, but a safe jump is pretty big!
Oh yeah man! I gota figure what more I can do with this safe jump lol
Nice!
Oh yeah! 👊
Can't the opponent stand block on wakeup?
Edit: or even perfect parry if he has meter?

Yeah that's right! The opponent can stand block it or perfect parry it.
