i think they got shading down perfectly in 2k9. it looks like the mechanics were still a little stiff tho in 2k9. still a little stiff on 2k10; 2k11 was a little too loose. 2k12 was pretty tight

TWD98 DUNK GENERATOR ... 2k14 isn’t bad, the only issue is the post defense, head to head if you get a scorer in the paint it’s almost impossible to block the shot, that was my only issue, me and my buddy could exploit that ...
I always appreciated the sound effects in the first few 2K installments on the Dreamcast....also loved hearing Fitz, the real life play by play man for the Warriors, commentating in the first couple 2K games too!
I’m thinking of getting back into 2k after playing 22 at my friend’s house. I played 2k8, 11, 12, and 14-16 on the 360(so the worse versions lol). 11 was my all time favorite and i had so many memories on it

Anyone remember 2K5 with Ben Wallace on the front? The game was 20 bucks at launch. IIRC, EA and NBA Live had 2K on the "ropes" and at the time, 2K/Visual Concepts? thought this game would be their last so they desperately needed people to buy copies. I bought this game on Xbox and the same night bought DBZ Budokai for PS2 on the cheap and I was set for the winter. Funny how 2K is now KING. I wonder if NBA Live is even made anymore?
I remember playing nba2k6 on xbox 360 for the first time and just being amazed at the graphics playing on my plasma i remember going to the replay and zooming in and being amazed that they would sweat lol
I was the only one on my floor in my dorm with a Dreamcast. I would tear people up with the Mavs. They had Michael Finley and a couple of no name guys named Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash. No one had heard of these guys yet. Everyone wanted to double Finley and let Dirk shoot wide open 3s. I had no problem with that. Lol

They really toned down the court reflections from 2k14. Such a shame its looking really bad without it. Had to install mods to fix that.
