Filmic Glam is my Jam! I've heard from multiple colorists yhat you want to adjust exposure and contrast before the LUT application, that way youre working with more color/light info. I typical S curve after the LUT won't do as much as doing so before the LUT. Also most peope dont add enough contrast before a LUT, which DOES addect color and saturation necauee they're linked. A lot of people will try to jack up saturation thinking that's their problem, but really they just need more contrast.
Yeah absolutely, I actually cut that out of this video but my Color Grading Process is always to Color Correct first, adjust all contrast levels, skin tones, etc, everything AND THEN add the LUT for that added punch, then make tweaks if needed!
