    Those of you who have done DIY will know, but the amount of tools you use will increase.
    Drivers, pliers, and spanners alone tend to grow beyond count. I kept it in a deep drawer, and as the tools piled up, it seemed to be hard to find and more tools that could not be used.
    I thought it would be better to lower the height of the drawer and make it bigger so that the tools can be arranged and seen at a glance. There are iron-type finished products used in car centers, etc., but I made them myself with birch plywood. The height of the drawers was minimized to the thickness of the drawer rails, and instead they made more compartments. I'm very satisfied with making these two drawers and putting in the tools.
    It's become so easy to find tools. I think I can use it comfortably.
    I think there will be a lot of scenes in my videos where I take out tools from drawers and use them.
    I think it'd be good for you to make it and use it.
    Thank you.

    When you install the rails in the cabinets, you use a spacer.
    When you mount the other part of the rail on the drawer, you use a jig with another spacer.
    How do you ensure they are lined up? Let's say the small spacer (drawer) is 2cm high. Do you (in the cabinet) then simply start 2.5cm from the bottom and use your regular block for the steps?
    Hard to explain, but I'd be scared not to have it line up :)
    Beautiful video by the way, I'm going to attempt building this for under my new workbench

      It's not easy to explain.
      The height of the interior space is h,
      Let the number of drawers to be created be n
      and the distance between drawers be t.
      First, subtract t from h. The reason t is subtracted once is that there is one more interval than n.
      And when h is divided by n, the number is the sum of the height of the drawer and the distance between the drawers.
      In other words, the number obtained by subtracting t from that number becomes the height of one drawer.
      Now, the number obtained by subtracting the width of the rail from the height of the drawer and adding the distance t becomes the height of the jig to be used.
      If you put the chest of drawers upside down and attach the rails using this jig, The spacing between them is exactly right.
      The rail attached to the drawer can be known by looking at the structure of the drawer rail, and you can make a jig at that height.
      If you think about it carefully, you will understand. thank you

    this is why you build your own. the vast majority of hand tools are under 2" tall lying flat. Look at almost every tool box all tall drawers that make you pile your tools up.

    • @Kynosys_
      @Kynosys_  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You are pointing out the facts. I needed a chest of drawers that could hold a lot of hand tools while being flat. When the tools are tangled, it is very inconvenient to pick and use. This is something that many of you have thought about. I hope I can be of little help to you. thank you!

I don't think it's easy for you to buy from the Korean online market. Instead, it seems that Ali Express, an online marketplace in China, ships to Europe. • @Kynosys_
      @Kynosys_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a correct point about not finishing the front of the drawer. However, I don't really like the finish on the chest of drawers. It feels like the finish of home furniture used in the living room. You don't have to worry about dust. There are a lot of dust collection facilities in my workshop. It is structured so that dust can never reach the chest of drawers. Various dust collection system related videos I made will be uploaded as a series soon. In particular, the workbench I named the sanding base is the key. You too will be able to enjoy it. thank you

    Интересно, а не провиснет ли фанерное дно такого ящика, когда в него нагружено столько тяжёлых инструментов (гаечные ключи и т.п.)? Многие мастера делают ящики из металлических листов, мне кажется, такой вариант был бы даже легче по весу и прочнее

      У тебя такие же мысли, как у меня. Я удивлялся, почему все сделали его из стали. Преимуществом будет то, что он может быть изготовлен из гораздо более тонкого материала, чем дерево. Однако с древесиной намного легче обращаться, и она прочнее, чем ожидалось. Я даже подумал, что было бы неплохо использовать березовую фанеру марки 9Т. Спасибо
      You have the same thoughts as me. I wondered why everyone made it out of steel. There will be an advantage that it can be made from a much thinner material than wood. However, wood is much easier to handle and is stronger than expected. I even thought it would be nice to use about 9T birch plywood. thank you

      If you look closely, there are more 30cm rulers. In my opinion, the more measuring tools, the better. I only put them together for this shoot, but they are usually scattered here and there. Rather, there are more times when I think that it is not enough. When I'm working, if you look around my worktable and equipment, you'll understand.
      In front of equipment costing tens of thousands of dollars, I am very curious when I see people struggling to find measuring tools that cost only a few dollars. Where did he invest in? I think we should save that time. It's an investment in its own right, and well worth it. Thank you!

      I'm a Korean. It's not easy for you to watch my other videos, but I run a tool review channel in Korean. So, there are a lot of tools. I am also an inventor. I have about 20 patents. Someday, I would like to make a video introducing my patented products. Inventions are made purely through my creativity, but in fact, I need materials for my creation. There is nothing like tools as a material for invention. When I look at the development of various tools, I can feel the many concerns of engineers. Of course, my creativity is encouraged. Also, my goal is to use all the tools I have.
      In that situation, I created drawers that would allow me to conveniently display my collection. I don't mean to brag or be conceited, but I hope this will be of some help to those who want to organize their tools. This is something I've wanted to talk about someday, and thanks to you, I'm doing it. I hope many people read it. thank you!
