I was in the prime demographic for Hocus Pocus (eight years old when it was released) and I can tell you that movie was never popular until about 10 years ago when the internet decided that it was some type of beloved classic, lol.
Right! I had never seen it as a kid so was hyped to watch it for the first time a few years back and I turned it off after 30 minutes because it was hard to watch.
