This reminds me of hunting for my first car. Although I had a £1000 budget which was easily enough put me into a lot of shitboxes, I too wanted something different and retro but with the added criteria of something that didn’t need work. Somehow I found my 1 owner Polo 2F (at 52k) for £800 with hardly any rust or need of work.... just needed a damn good drive😂.
