This was such a great watch and I learnt some things I didn't know before - I had no clue that region of Spain got so much sun! Wow. Thanks for sharing.
I so enjoyed doing this Video with Olivia almost 3 and a half years ago now!! I'd love to add that since 2021 prices of weddings in Spain have changed drastically with 30% increases pretty much across the board and we are now at around 32 to 38K for a 50 person wedding in Spain!!

Simple is fish and chips, simple is a burger... Spanish dishes can be simple or very elaborate. Spain is not only known internationally for the quality of the product, but also for the level of the chefs. You talk too much with a lot of, shall I say, inaccuracy about the food, the climate and blablabla. The truth is that Spain is as big as diverse. Examples: - Tapas versus pintxos. - The Basque Country is second only to Tokyo in density of Michelin-starred restaurants. Sound simple? - An August day in Seville versus Bilbao can be like 45 versus 35 degrees Celsius. - The southern half is hotter and drier, the northern half cooler and more humid. - The ‘Mediterranean culture’ is pretty much confined to... the Mediterranean coast. - The only desert in Europe is in Almeria, opposite you have the greenest mountainous landscape you can imagine. Not to mention a brave sea. - As for the quantity and quality of the food in the caterings, you can find everything; from rubbish to excellence. Just like in the rest of the world. - The wine is not good: Spain is a world producer of excellent wines. Ribera del Duero was awarded as the best wine region in the world. But you can find dozens of wines with certified D.O. (Denominaciones de Origen) from different regions: Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Toro, Jerez, Cava, Rías Baixas, txakolí.... .... We are happy to welcome good tourism: cultural, gastronomic, pilgrims, artistic, campers, history lovers, festival nomads, etc. In two words polite and respectful. We are fed up with morons jumping off balconies, drunk girls and boys vomiting and vandalising everywhere, cruise ships invading cities and bringing nothing positive and old ladies complaining that ‘people don't speak my language’*. BTW, Spain is fifth in WHS by Unesco. Only 8 sites from the top. I have met many tourists in Bilbao, mostly from the United States, who ask me about McDonalds, BK and other franchises to eat at. I kindly point them to one nearby, but.... Fuck!!! that's like visiting the Louvre and asking for postcards! And that's it, I'm done. We Spaniards are usually in a good mood and polite to visitors. You have to be the way it is. Spain is not an amusement park. * Honey, it's you who's visiting your friend's house...
