Haven’t done a co-op video in a while so here’s Noelle carrying the Azhdaha fight with Diona and her soloing Azhdaha in the second co-op match. Tomorrow I’ll be uploading videos of me testing Noelle’s Damage with Albedo using the Millelith set. I’ll also be testing it on Xinyan and the 2P set on Diona in the future.
Lmao when im the only left in my team using ganyu they already leave they don't trust me but after that i killed the boss xD shout out to the one person who didn't leave and cheer me
once i was doing childe boss and everyone else died. I was doing solo with my zhongli on the last stage and they didn’t leave and cheered for me in the chat haha. i did it and then i added all of them as friends and then we did bosses together lol. it also took me a long time to do it and i was worried they would leave but they didn’t and stayed and supported me the whole way. :) edit: I could not have done it without them bc they were using healers like jean and qiqi so that’s what helped me stay alive till the last stage. they were a very good help haha
I once typed a messege in chat while soloing a boss ina co-op one guy literaly went "HOW DO YOU TYPE MID FIGHT?". I lost the fight but i still felt like a badass in that moment.
I mean a lot of the characters people brought to the domain were some of the most fragile glass cannon characters in genshin impact lol. Xiao, hu tao, ganyu? Without c2 diona or c2 zhongli it’s just death for them

Xiao at least healer friendly so I can opt to using bennet and be a support, I can't help Hutao user. But still it's stressful seeing people using either of them when I'm the host 😅
@@Lovarez Hutao over 50% hp still quite decent dps tbh, so you can just go on and do the healing. And bennett is a perfect healer and support for her too because he don't heal her to 100% and give dmg buff too.

That’s me with Kokomi. Azhdaha was hydro cryo that week so I pretty much tickled him to death after my coop teammates died. His health bar was barely going down, but mine wasn’t really moving either, so it was fine.
I think mihoyo specifically created this boss for people who built pure dps teams and complain on twitter about this game being too easy. I think they are going to come up with more bosses that are gonna need more strategy than dps

@Cloud bby it's mostly bc they got used to the good ol strategy of killing everything before it kills you lmao, then when they encounter a boss like Azhdaha they struggle and fail to manage their hp properly

The timers are just the games artificial way to try to force people to impulse pull on 5 stars. All enemies are beatable, but you have to do an absurd amount of damage per hit for the there to be time left. Its not in any way a test of skill. Just of how much pulling and grinding has to be done.
@@papus615 not exactly. A skilled player can use teams using characters with not as much investment and still 36 star abyss. It’s about knowing the game mechanics and how to make the most of what you have

As a support main (primarily Diona), I do get upset when in co-op people tell me “use dps”. Damage isn’t the only way to play a game. And this video is evidence that support players can save the team.
It's even sadder that people don't know the boss mechanics and how useful Diona is for this boss especially at C2 since she's the only one along with C2 zhongli that can instantly give shields to the party.

I reciently started building kaeya for the pyro domain and a guy told me to switch characters, im not going to lie; my kaeya isn't the strongest but he can make 3k physical damage per charged attack and he is one of my strongest characters now
Nolle may not be able to create as high a damage as Xiao, Ganyu or Hu Tao, but Nolle can give you soooooo much feeling of safety. Who don't love a warm girl who can carry you safely through all kinds of obstacles?

Meanwhile I'm AR45 got Noelle to lvl 80 with Whiteblind R2 and full legendary artefacts, and even with tons of pulls with Zhongli banner I still am at C0 and begging to get one constellation, but the game just gives me Dionas....

The game knows I'm using Noelle and is refusing to give it to me despite pulling in 2 banners where she is lol
As a person who has Noelle in the party, and as someone who sometimes mains Noelle, this is so true lmao- Like Noelle always saves the day, whether it be her shield, her defence, or her atk, Noelle is a true queen.
Couldn't agree more she was my first character that I got by wishing (I started the game recently) and I am so happy I got her even tho I lack experience with her and with the bosses I love her she is the best character so far (from the ones I have) (maybe Razor is better at dmg but idk-)
The only bad thing about Noelle is that her skills doesn't match with others.. Really only for Tanks, Paladin kind of class instead. But ofc, every character has its own downside, if she's good with others that would make her more OP. Especially since it's one of the early characters of Genshin Impact. I'm saying GI needs money to develop too 😂

I can't really call my self a Noelle main because be cause mine is not C6...... Dispute pulling only on her banners..... Anyways favonious for coop. It will give you the energy you need. As she can't generate them. And skill CD will be fine with more hits you do.
People keep flexing their 50k dmg main dps'. Not humble enough to be a healer/support on the team. Noelle is humble, a dps, a healer, tank, shield, cute, adorable, and kind. Be like noelle. Haha
What I love the most of this update is picking Noelle, being called a noob for using geo and blamed that "You gonna slow us down", seeing all the meta dps units getting reck on phase 2, soloing the battle, reading everyone complains about how hard it is, write "Izzy, hope they buff him a bit to fix the baby HP" leave and repeat xD
I have been using noelle ever since i started playing , idk since last october? Never looked back. Never regretted the decision. She's the tank, shes my 2nd healer, after barbara.
the very fact that noelle can shield, heal, and attack at the same time is what makes her OP. {c6 is were she literally becomes a god that 50% def = atk :chefkiss: }

Xian’s death is understandable, but ganyu have no excuse, she could easily stay in the safe spot the entire time while noelle draws the attention off the boss
As a fellow Noelle main, I love this boss. It's good to see Mihoyo adding things where defense actually matters, the meta has been just damage and nothing more for too long. Finally, healer, tanks, and reactions (not to cause damage, but to break the Heralds for instance) are getting a spotlight, and I'm loving it. Last week I've done Azdaha in co-op and my friends died as well. Gotta love Noelle defeating this beast solo, and as you finish she says "do you want some tea?"
For those who don't know: Noelle's elemental skill nullifies any damage received, even without crystalization, while also healing you (& your team if solo) based on the percentage of Noelle's defense. So it's best to equip defense & healing artifacts to be more effective.
Azadaha is my favorite boss for a reason. It actually feels rewarding to beat him instead of using pure dps to clear in less than a minute. He actually requires some strategy and learning his patterns to beat him efficiently.
wut strategy...his patterns are so easy though...the water pattern is just switching between two lanes. unless there's a ranged attack from azhdaha, you can just jog around in the opposite direction. cryo and pyro are easy too. just switch to a top-down view and run around if you're nervous. Electro and the cryo tail thing are easier. just move the littlest bit every once in a while. When the guy jumps. dash once in one direction and keep moving in that direction. wut ever attack that follows his hydro jump cant hit you.
How five-stars characters be defeated... And a four-star character you get at the beginning of the game holds up Noelle really looks like she's a five-star!!
Still don’t get how anyone hates Noelle. The gal seriously tanks everything like a champion, goes out of her way to serve you and help others, and is literally the first four star character you pull at the very beginning for virtually nothing. Plus her armored maid outfit looks really cool, being the only character with heavy plate mail sporting the knight look. God if only I could get one more of her to hit c6. Best geo waifu in my opinion.
I feel like my biggest achievement in Genshin is soloing Azhdaha with my Noelle. My teammates cheered me on too which was super kind and encouraging since people usually leave domains after dying.
It is generally a good idea to just focus dodging when he starts doing relentless attacks (especially when he stomps ground and pushes you back, even if you are able to tank it, you are just wasting your shield just to get close to the chonk and do nothing). This fight is more about patience and knowing what to do than about dps and perfect dodging (Yes, *i-frames don't work here*) He generally has longer window of opportunity for dps just before he finishes his attack 1) Identify the attack 2) Dodge immediately to avoid attack, it is not about timing, so just dodge as soon as you see him getting ready for attack (each attack require different positioning) 3) And now dps while he performs his attack in vain (unless it is a continous stomping or jump with double aoe, which in either case, run) 4) Get ready to detect next attack trick is to know where to go instead when to go Rinse and repeat I haven't gotten much good at it myself yet but I found it a bit more effective than just tanking it. OR You can just Ganyu it...

Had something similar to this once but as Zhongli. My randoms were cheering for me and saying stuff like "this is a reenactment of how Zhongli saved Liyue from Azhdaha." Shit was so fcking wholesome that doing Azdaha co-op just for the sake of doing it is one of my favorite things to do when I run out of resin just to get a chance to experience that again. Never been so glad getting Zhongli and building him. 😂
The fact Noelle and Diona has shield.While Ganyu and Xiao doesn't. It's clearly showed how different character mechanic works in Genshin. Clearly Noelle and Diona has more chance not to die because of their shield.
nah, without any shield or any other char, literally 1v1, you can win. you just need an well build c6 char and R5 5star weapon. see henna oyaji channel.
well the thing is, they would still have a chance if they played it safe and not rush into the action like monki-brains (especially ganyu who can basically snipe while staying out of range)

@@baileydombroskie3046 it seems to have a high geo res, I main ningguang, even tho her damage is insane but his hp only decreasing slowly and a small amount, but when I changed my main into keqing then his hp was decreasing far more faster....
I'm using Diona as a main whenever in coop.. just being at backline, gives some heal, and Shield, being safe at backline while also give some enough damage even if not much is just reasurring for me.. right now I'm building Barbara.. as a pure healer

I love how Noelle is actually a 1 char team. If you have a properly build Noelle she can shield herself, dish out reasonable damage (during burst my Noelle easily gets up to 6 to 8k average) and she can even heal herself
Noelle literally saved me in this fight, there's no way my Childe and Hu Tao can survive without her shield. Thank god I build her as a shield support I can't imagine fighting this guy in co op since you can only use 1 character, and unless you use a dps shield character(ex: dps zhongli, or dps noelle like in this video) you're gonna have a hard time. I think this is the only fight where shielding and chipping away the enemy's hp slowly is more important than just going in with brute force
I have been using noelle since day one when all of them were dissin her for not being worth it, now ppl are finding how good of a unit she is, noelle and lisa are my main carries in abyss
I have never taken Noelle off my team. I haven't used Kaeya or Lisa, but I still rotate Traveler and Amber in on occasion. Noelle and Razor are my mains, with Barbara only used for her Skill to heal and revive if Razor dies.
Mostly thanks to Tectone, who was dissing 4* units all the time at the start, and then holy crap Bennett is actually good? Xinqiu also? Man I hate people like that.

Or, the alternative, was doing a domain at ar 45 and so I was level 80 in a 90 surrounded bunch, and I broke an abyss mages shield all on my own and I was so proud lol
@@sk8tergal995 I have yet to die in a coop battle, but thank god if they changed it, it needed to be changed. Too many times I've almost left domains because I sit there bored with my screen aimed towards the wall (although when I do leave, I wish the surviving players good luck)
As a Gunlance main in Monster Hunter...this video feels like half of my hunts. I sit there tanking all the hits while everyone else in the party cart one after the other (especially when the party is made from SOS members) lol. The Behemoth fight in particular was this way when it first released.
But if you think like that he is husband material too and also shields 24/7 so even though he can only heal at C6 he is an immovable mountain :( Both are good

Kudos to the Noelle Main! I love watching people who know how to play a character to their strengths. To problem here is that the party mates didn't keep up shields for when Azdaha elemental attacks went off. If you arent shielded you take dot until you get a shield and it can get pretty bad pretty quick. Noelle is not the strongest attacker but her skills A. make a shield and B. Charged attacks have a 50 % chance to heal based off the damage she does. If you pop her bursr skill depending on constellations you get a 100% chance to heal with each charged attack. Noelle can also buff her atk based off her def stat. My Noelle is not as good as this guys but i can get up to 3k crit hits i would love to hit the 3k 4k mark as much as this guy was though. Tjose 7ks were nice. Well played Noelle main well played.
I JUST had a situation almost exactly like this... except I was playing with a crew of Yanfei, Eula, Diona, while I ran with my Noelle. The Eula player died first about a quarter way in, the Yanfei player went next after got past the half-way point, and finally the Diona player stuck with me longest and survived up to the start of the last quarter. After that I buckled down and took care of the rest. It's a dope feeling, especially when you remember all the players who just keep dissing her.
Noelle is making a comeback on my team, she's pulled me through the game so much, hopefully the final push I need to start grinding geo artifacts again >

She's pretty strong, can heal, can shield, but she's slow at attacks. Still she a great character and best used when not timed.

As a support main (primarily Diona), I do get upset when in co-op people tell me “use dps”. Damage isn’t the only way to play a game. And this video is evidence that support players can save the team.
It's even sadder that people don't know the boss mechanics and how useful Diona is for this boss especially at C2 since she's the only one along with C2 zhongli that can instantly give shields to the party.

Yep. Noelle is nearly indestructible. Unless you're using a level 70 Noelle in the Energy Amplifier Twisted Domain (first one) at max difficulty and everything selected (except time)
I reciently started building kaeya for the pyro domain and a guy told me to switch characters, im not going to lie; my kaeya isn't the strongest but he can make 3k physical damage per charged attack and he is one of my strongest characters now

Her burst gives extra Atk based on her Def. C6 grants Atk based on 50% her Def *on top* of the burst's own Atk bonus. Now that's crazy.

As a fellow Noelle main, I love this boss. It's good to see Mihoyo adding things where defense actually matters, the meta has been just damage and nothing more for too long. Finally, healer, tanks, and reactions (not to cause damage, but to break the Heralds for instance) are getting a spotlight, and I'm loving it.
Last week I've done Azdaha in co-op and my friends died as well. Gotta love Noelle defeating this beast solo, and as you finish she says "do you want some tea?"

For those who don't know:
Noelle's elemental skill nullifies any damage received, even without crystalization, while also healing you (& your team if solo) based on the percentage of Noelle's defense. So it's best to equip defense & healing artifacts to be more effective.
Azadaha is my favorite boss for a reason. It actually feels rewarding to beat him instead of using pure dps to clear in less than a minute. He actually requires some strategy and learning his patterns to beat him efficiently.
wut strategy...his patterns are so easy though...the water pattern is just switching between two lanes. unless there's a ranged attack from azhdaha, you can just jog around in the opposite direction. cryo and pyro are easy too. just switch to a top-down view and run around if you're nervous. Electro and the cryo tail thing are easier. just move the littlest bit every once in a while. When the guy jumps. dash once in one direction and keep moving in that direction. wut ever attack that follows his hydro jump cant hit you.

I feel like my biggest achievement in Genshin is soloing Azhdaha with my Noelle. My teammates cheered me on too which was super kind and encouraging since people usually leave domains after dying.

Even without her shield she can tank attacks that are usually lethal to most new DPS units
In one of her voice lines about vision she wonders why she specifically got the geo vision. I think this shows one reason.

It is generally a good idea to just focus dodging when he starts doing relentless attacks (especially when he stomps ground and pushes you back, even if you are able to tank it, you are just wasting your shield just to get close to the chonk and do nothing). This fight is more about patience and knowing what to do than about dps and perfect dodging (Yes, *i-frames don't work here*)
He generally has longer window of opportunity for dps just before he finishes his attack
1) Identify the attack
2) Dodge immediately to avoid attack, it is not about timing, so just dodge as soon as you see him getting ready for attack (each attack require different positioning)
3) And now dps while he performs his attack in vain (unless it is a continous stomping or jump with double aoe, which in either case, run)
4) Get ready to detect next attack
trick is to know where to go instead when to go
Rinse and repeat
I haven't gotten much good at it myself yet but I found it a bit more effective than just tanking it.

Had something similar to this once but as Zhongli. My randoms were cheering for me and saying stuff like "this is a reenactment of how Zhongli saved Liyue from Azhdaha." Shit was so fcking wholesome that doing Azdaha co-op just for the sake of doing it is one of my favorite things to do when I run out of resin just to get a chance to experience that again. Never been so glad getting Zhongli and building him. 😂

I'm using Diona as a main whenever in coop.. just being at backline, gives some heal, and Shield, being safe at backline while also give some enough damage even if not much is just reasurring for me.. right now I'm building Barbara.. as a pure healer

I love how Noelle is actually a 1 char team. If you have a properly build Noelle she can shield herself, dish out reasonable damage (during burst my Noelle easily gets up to 6 to 8k average) and she can even heal herself

I think this is the only fight where shielding and chipping away the enemy's hp slowly is more important than just going in with brute force

I have never taken Noelle off my team. I haven't used Kaeya or Lisa, but I still rotate Traveler and Amber in on occasion. Noelle and Razor are my mains, with Barbara only used for her Skill to heal and revive if Razor dies.
Mostly thanks to Tectone, who was dissing 4* units all the time at the start, and then holy crap Bennett is actually good? Xinqiu also? Man I hate people like that.

Lol I always view it as others are kinda looking at us noelle mains as if we’re endearing little children in an adorable way, and then we carry the whole thing and their just like wtf just happened. Or, the alternative, was doing a domain at ar 45 and so I was level 80 in a 90 surrounded bunch, and I broke an abyss mages shield all on my own and I was so proud lol
I use Noelle as a substitute Zhongli for Hu Tao, since she can heal and she can shield. No way I will get out of fighting geo frog alive without her.
The fact that depending on where you die you can't properly spectate the ongoing battle. I would cheer on whoever is alive

@@sk8tergal995 I have yet to die in a coop battle, but thank god if they changed it, it needed to be changed. Too many times I've almost left domains because I sit there bored with my screen aimed towards the wall (although when I do leave, I wish the surviving players good luck)
As a Gunlance main in Monster Hunter...this video feels like half of my hunts. I sit there tanking all the hits while everyone else in the party cart one after the other (especially when the party is made from SOS members) lol. The Behemoth fight in particular was this way when it first released.

Kudos to the Noelle Main! I love watching people who know how to play a character to their strengths. To problem here is that the party mates didn't keep up shields for when Azdaha elemental attacks went off. If you arent shielded you take dot until you get a shield and it can get pretty bad pretty quick.
Noelle is not the strongest attacker but her skills A. make a shield and B. Charged attacks have a 50 % chance to heal based off the damage she does. If you pop her bursr skill depending on constellations you get a 100% chance to heal with each charged attack. Noelle can also buff her atk based off her def stat. My Noelle is not as good as this guys but i can get up to 3k crit hits i would love to hit the 3k 4k mark as much as this guy was though. Tjose 7ks were nice.

I haven’t fought the boss but just watching this video I can absolutely agree. The boss theme is fucking amazing.
I JUST had a situation almost exactly like this... except I was playing with a crew of Yanfei, Eula, Diona, while I ran with my Noelle. The Eula player died first about a quarter way in, the Yanfei player went next after got past the half-way point, and finally the Diona player stuck with me longest and survived up to the start of the last quarter. After that I buckled down and took care of the rest. It's a dope feeling, especially when you remember all the players who just keep dissing her.

Noelle is making a comeback on my team, she's pulled me through the game so much, hopefully the final push I need to start grinding geo artifacts again >

When I got Zhongli this boss became so much easier. I can even solo it pretty easily now. Shields really do work wonders.
