It would be Tier 10 as Daring is Tier 10
@@kaseko6549 Premiumships are sometimes down-tiered (Musashi) or uptiered (Kkrim) from her sisters. I certainly wouldn´t mind this boat in-game, be it TIX or TX :)
@@kaseko6549 HMAS Vampire would be HMS Daring except with half the torpedoes. That's enough to justify a downtier.
@@RedXlV not really. One of the reasons why daring is one of the best DDs is because of its guns and not torpedoes. If guns stay the same at T9 its just another powercreep ship.

I did go aboard this ship so many years ago as a tourist visiting from our nations capitol Canberra. I enjoyed every minute of it and imagined what it may have been like on this ship , thank you for adding Australian Ships :-)
Respect to MR Winton serves on the HMAS vampire during the 50-60 and told us kids in primary school WA Australia, stories that thrilled us and enlightened our days. we would often look forward to him coming into class exited to hear stories about the vampire

In the 70s and 80s RAN vessels regularly pulled into Australian city ports - even those that were not major baval bases. You could go aboard and tour the ship, they'd have a little pamphket with some history, specs etc. Vampire was my favourite ship. I think it was the first vessel I toured and it really stuck with me, from the open bridge to the Limbo mortars and the ships baots. I was so happy to see the WG have put this vessel into the game, though it's quite the grind.

The Sonar on the bridge is actually a JDA radar display
One point of correction, the "sonar" device on the bridge is a JUA series radar display that would have shown the 8GR-301 navigation radar also was able to connect to the LWO-2 air search radar.

if they were to bring this ship into the game, the hmas Vampire had 2 sisters, hmas Voyager and hmas Vendetta, they could use there names, but Voyager was lost after colliding a cv hmas Melbourne.. cheers Jackie

It would be cool to have this Daring class in game at T10, with radar, hydro and crawling smoke maybe but with no torpedoes

Originally the bat had no face, it was just the silhouette. After restauration someone wanted to add "more details" and ended up with this "masterpiece" xD
It would be cool if war gaming managed to put the vampire family in the game that Would be cool and a be a pretty Cool event.
So that is generally a Daring-class but minus one torp-launcher, hmm.
Would be a nice Freemium, but the name is already taken.

lunsmann i understand why switching to an another system of units everyone around the world uses it ... but it’s kinda a shame because our system works well even the British counterpart .... well at least the Uk and Canada kept some of them

World of Warships why is the Vampire at tier 3 if it is a Daring class, and why does it have less guns, etc?
That’s the first Vampire, a V&W class DD that was commissioned in 1917 in the Royal Navy and later leased to the RAN in 1933.

And in those days 3000T was considered very large for a destroyer. They used to weigh in below 1000T then grew larger and larger over time. These days they weigh in at approx. 7000T.
This is getting silly
I would like to see this ship in the game. My idea would be to make it a T9 destroyer/submarine hunter with radar, hydro and rapid firing guns but with only one or even no torpedo launcher and without HE (very important!) so it would be not that anoying to battleships. I think a ship like this would be very healty for the game

if daring is a tier X, then why should vampire be a tier IX ? she can be a perfect anti submarines destroyer
@@shoukatsukai but it's different because friesland is an HE-spammer but has no radar which means it's less specialized. I mean we have also Tirpitz and Massachusetts which are both secondary based T8 Premium BBs but with other differences so I don't see why we shouldn't get HMAS Vampire

The one in the video is not the Vampire we had in AL though, this is the Daring-class Vampire which was commissioned after WW2. The AL Vampire is a V-Class dd that launched all the way back in 1917.

Warships used to be fun before they put too many planes in and therefore making destroyers useless. You can't even get close to ships to torp them because you'll be spotted by the planes! Really c'mon 100+ planes vs 11 ships? Bullshit unfair advantage to the carriers!
I feel like if you bring it to this game it will be a disrespect because if how unbalanced this game is.
it will just be dumbstered by anyone who owns a cv.
