My harbor freight mask also crapped out and while i did manage to cut it open with a dremel to access the internal batteries, i figured my vision is more important than saving some money. I'm gonna order this Yeswelder m800h today. its gonna be nice to be able to actually see what i'm welding.

Hello, love your place. I use to love to weld, this year I was blessed with a pace maker so that ended that. But this helmet looks awesome. Enjoy your videos.
Thanks for the great review. I’m ordering Yeswelder helmet today. BTW the batteries ARE replaceable in the cheap HF helmet. I replaced mine with a 2-battery holder with wires. Carefully open up lens assembly, unsolder old battery and solder wires in place. Best helmet I’ve owned so far.
I have that cheap harbor freight helmet and the only way i could get to the batteries was to take a dremel and do a lot of cutting along the edge of the "module" that contains the electronics, lens, and solar panel. THere was no way to open it normally. maybe they changed the design and made them snap together now or something. Mine was 15 years old.
I’m thinking of getting that helmet and yes it has to be able to change the batteries I made the same mistake buying a helmet and couldn’t replace the battery’s thank you for the video I’m going to by it

I bought the Yeswelder helmet you are reviewing here (LYG M800H) and I have flashing problems with it. It also came a bit mis-shapened. The flashing issue occurred after owning it for 40 days. I am still in a never-ending correspondence with Yeswelder just to get them to replace the helmet. I've called and emailed twice. They don't want me to send it in, but say I need to create and produce a video of the problem. So I have to go out and buy the equipment for that, hire extra people to help, and then do video editing and send it in a small enough file for email? No thank you. I don't even know how in the world I would capture this from behind the mask. I'm not a video professional. This is absurd. They keep asking me to perform the same trouble-shooting steps repeatedly despite my assurances they don't work. I think they are having so many issues with these $75 helmets that they are trying to prevent returns altogether under warranty. I have spent way too much time on this. I do not recommend Yeswelder. In my experience they are not honoring their warranties by gaming their out-of-country status.
Does this mask has swich buttom on or off for battery save,i dont use this mask very often, but batteries are uncharge.

How about that.....I just bought one of those same helmets for A$99.00 on EBAY.........I had to as I couldn't see the tungsten tip with my other Auto helmet with the murky green lens.
Shame you can't purchase this helmet in the UK.
