I cannot for the life of me find the Edgar fight anywhere else on the internet. So bravo for somehow finding and sharing that clip. I would love to see the whole video.

6:13 Tim Wallach as an Angel. Of his 2212 career games he played 57 in the AL, for the Angels. Somehow this obscure altercation captures him in one of those rare games. The old fights are great because you get to see all names and numbers of all the guys you didn't realize were with certain teams at a certain time.
Great compilation! Thank you for posting.

As a Cubs fan, it’s so much easier to tolerate the white Sox now that Hawk Is gone.

Has anyone ever studied when the most brawls happen during the season? I suspect it is around July-August when teams realize they aren't getting to the playoffs and players realize they aren't setting themselves up for a bonus and the weather totally sucks in every stadium

When I was really into baseball - 25 to 30 years ago ( too much cheating and watered down these days ) in instances in the American League at 3:13 - since the pitcher couldn't come to bat in the AL I always wondered why batter(s) in a latter inning in retaliation wouldn't just swing at a pitch from that pitcher and release the bat in full thrust towards the pitcher on the mound. At least that's something.
